I'd rather live with people who don't smash each other in the face over a fart, even if the country has a lot of pollution and corruption. That said, thankfully I don't need to choose between such outcomes!

I had an Indian maid when I lived in a Qatar and had a fake snake that I just left out on the couch (leftover from my reptiles unit) and she was screaming hysterically, I died of laughter.

So, for India, fake snakes will do the trick.

That's awesome. I know a woman, who peed on herself when she saw a fake snake. It's kind of a fucked up prank but eh, whudda ya gonna do?
