That reply above wasn't a strawman. Your post directly implied that bad neighborhoods are caused by illegal immigrants. And my response is: Yes, illegal immigrants do cause bad neighborhoods. And so does every other nationality and race.

My point is that illegal immigration is bad and has a negative effect on an area. I'm not picking on Mexicans or any other specific nationality out of that group, but illegals. A lot of illegals are Mexican. Not all illegals are Mexican.

Besides MS-13, Mexican mafia, Surrenous/Nortenos gangs, etc.. all have a lot in common. They recruit heavily from the barrios and rely on these multi-generation families (with illegals) to replenish their numbers in prison and also as a conduit to cross border trafficking. They are scum.

Which population is more likely to turn a neighborhood into a shithole? Recent immigrants who had to go through appropriate background checks and pass immigration criteria. Or people who jumped a fence or went through cartel networked coyotes?


It's amazing how blind a lot of Americans are to the obvious. I have very little skin in the game these days since I live abroad. But god help some of you. I just hope America keeps it together for a few more decades at least.

I think I agree with every comment thedude has made on every thread regarding illegal immigration. I wonder how many people who say that illegal immigration is destroying this country have ever worked in restaurants, landscaping, or construction. Of the low percentage who have, I wonder how many people have ever seen one of those businesses survive without illegal aliens. I believe the dude said in another thread that he has only ever seen two ehite dishwashers and both were one step out of prison. I don't know if I have even seen that many and I worked at higher volume restaurants than thedude does for many years.

And don't even get me started on trying to play in the yard as a kid. Why, there were no yards! Everything was either barren rock or tangled undergrowth. Only the Mexicans are capable of mowing lawns, everyone knows that.

Here's the process:

Americans do the work -> Cheap labor comes in and businesses hire them for way less -> Americans refuse to do those jobs for what they now pay -> Critics say Americans refuse these jobs and only immigrants can fill these positions.

Btw, only 3-4% of illegal immigrants work in agriculture.

I wasn't aware that moderation protected posters from having the absurdity of their arguments pointed out through a little mockery and humor.

But again, this ties into what I've been saying throughout this thread (so much for me being done with this thread...)

I genuinely feel that the work ethic in this country has changed. Media has led the younger generations to believe that somehow, SOMEHOW, they will all be millionaires. All they have to do is come up with the right idea. With all these people aspiring for greatness, noone is aspiring for middle class. Values and desires have changed greatly. People used to want a family and a modest house. Now they want fewer kids and more stuff. There is a thirst for money that the world has never seen before.

There was a time that an honest day's work, a job well done, and a working class paycheck was enough to make a man happy, because he had a family to go home to and a community and society that supported him. Where is that now? Gone forever.

Obviously, we were not dwelling in caves and licking our plates clean before Mexicans got here. But our values changed, and Americans, by and large, got sick of doing manual labor and found it advantageous to pay immigrants to do the dirty work for us. And you're going to fault the immigrants?

While OUR values have changed, most Mexican immigrants that I've seen have values similar to America's old values: family and community. In my neighborhood, which is probably 90%+ Mexican, they spend their days off at the park in huge groups, having BBQs, playing with the kids, lighting off fireworks. I don't see white families anywhere in L.A. doing this. The men go off and work menial jobs and come home to their family where their fatass wife has some killer homemade food waiting for them.

I've read a lot of stats being thrown around while participating in this thread. When I've made previous assertions, it's with lumping legal and illegal immigrants together to simply address the previous issue of foreigners taking American jobs.

Also, "agriculture" is an awfully big segment. It's important to note which parts of the agriculture industry that immigrants are occupying. Obviously, tends to be low level shit.

Illegal immigration into America and Europe today can't be separated from the cultural and political context in which it operates. It has to be seen as part of a wider enfeebling and decline of America.

When it comes to illegal immigration, it is the internal causes that are the unseen protagonists. The invading barbarians (a more honest term for illegal immigrants) are only entering where American weakness and softness has opened the door. This weakness has been caused by biological, moral, economic, and political failures on a massive level.

How to describe these failures:

Fertility has also been reduced by feminism, shaming of masculinity, and the systematic campaign to destroy the male institutions. The result of all this has been a steady decline in the best genetic stocks. The dole has spoiled the poor, and luxury has spoiled the rich. Only the poor, it seems, can afford to have children.

The people reproducing in America now are of a frighteningly low biological quality. Some of them are so grotesque as to be nearly subhuman. I truly believe that the horrifying mounds of flesh waddling around the megastores of America are internal barbarians, in contrast to the external barbarians represented by illegal immigrants.

It is possible that illegal immigration may be able to reinvigorate the declining biological material here, but the problem is that many illegals are also the dregs of humanity. Not all, of course, but many.

As they outbreed the natives, we see that the fecundity of the stupid, dull, and simple is winning against the sterility of the best men and women. Moral: Moral decay hastens our decline. Women do not value chastity or sexual restraint; and, it must be said, neither do we. The virile character of our forefathers has been replaced by a debilitating feminine quality in the men here. Urban congestion multiplies our contacts, and amplifies our corruptions. A hundred cultures in contact eventually jostle themselves into indifference. The moral base of the traditional order has been severely undermined by the removal of religion as a tool for the discipline of the young. Moral relativism is the rule, and it leads to defeatism and indifference.

Economic: The rich stripped the country of its economic base in order to enjoy the fruits of unlimited wealth. In so doing, they set the stage for America's inevitable economic ruin. In the military sphere alone do we predominate now, and even that will not last forever. The depreciating currency, a parasitic army of government employees, the discouragement of ability in favor of political correctness, confiscatory taxation, and a creeping caste system in America also play major roles.

Political: Decades of cowardice and treason by Washington elites have destroyed the average citizen's faith in our sacred political institutions, respect for which is necessary if a republic is to survive. Washington is now a hotbed of factionalism where nothing of substance is accomplished; rule is now made by imperial fiat or NSA decree. Political activity in Congress has become an spectacle of empty pantomimes, a pathetic theatre in which the only goal is to ensure the re-election of the major protagonists.

At the same time, increasing militarism has concentrated power in an omnipotent presidency that answers to few, if any. Government no longer attracts first-rate men, only parasites, women, and members of indolent underclass elements looking to sponge off the government.

In the declining years of Rome, taxation became so oppressive that citizens actually were willing to flee across imperial frontiers to escape the burden of the tax collector. After the Emperors Pertinax and Gallienus, the system was forced to bind people to the land and compel sons to adopt the trades of their fathers. Endless wars fought for the benefit of the oligarchs further undermined faith in the old order.

In such ways, and some others, was medieval serfdom born.

In the short term, we can expect increasing monitoring by an authoritarian imperial system here, exchange controls to try to stem the decline of the currency, capital flight, and perhaps even attempts to prevent travel. I would put nothing past this present system.

So, the bottom line is, yes, illegal immigration is a ferment of decomposition in America.

But it is an outcome that has already been pre-determined by failures in other areas (moral, economic, biological, and political).

We have our leaders of the past forty years to thank for all this. If there were any justice, they would be mercilessly punished for their greed, callousness, and cowardice. And this is why I despise both political parties. They're both basically cats of the same stripe.
