so serious question...if you have a private "is it beta" to invite friends who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it to hop along with you?

i ask because im in a situation where i asked a few friends to come with me to a music festival and they were all like "that'd be awesome but I dont have the cash for gas or a hotel room or anything." I'm thinking I don't really give a shit cause i'll pay for all that no big deal but i feel kind of like if I ask that it's like saying "im paying for you to be my friend." what do u think?

The way I look at it is that I'm going somewhere anyway. Empty seats or full seats don't change the cost of the flight much at all (a tiny increase in fuel costs). When I travel out of the country there may be taxes/fees per passenger. If a friend wants to come along, I tell them where I'm going and about when I want to leave. Also, why would I care if someone thinks what I do is beta.

I wouldn't get into the habit of paying for hotel or gas money. If it's someone's birthday and you want to throw a party or go to a music festival that makes sense. In the end do whatever you want and don't worry what other people think. IMHO

Unless you go to one of those new Red Pill therapist like the one featured on ROK currently. Red Pill psychology is not that difficult. Too funny... a cashier at the mechanics opened me yesterday about mine. It's got eye-catching brass riveting along the non-folding edges, and she noticed, said she loved it and asked me if I made it myself. Like you, not the first time I've been opened because of it.

Part of style game, I guess. Gotta admire your balls, your wallet is out there.
