Waiting on my bus to Siem Reap. It's 30 min late. My experience this is completely normal. I've never been on an intercity bus in Cambodia that left within 15 min of its scheduled departure time.

Last night walked around Sisophon and it was completely dead. There was one tiny disco type place that was about to close and only two people in it playing on their phones.

Being New Year's Day there was a dance party in a patch of dirt off the main road. I followed the strobes and sound of music. Some young guys immediately dragged me into their dance circle.

Most of the girls seemed way too young. I'm guessing early teens. A few I'd chatted on the way in said they were 19 but looked way younger. Too bad they were leaving and spoke such little English.

Some girls came over to dance with us but one was completely busted. I'm definitely sure the other was a transgender.

I moved to dance with a group that had the one and only girl there who was not busted and age appropriate. Her group was very receptive and was pushing us together. She danced with me but was obviously embarrassed when I got close and put her hands on my shoulders and mine on her hips.

I joked around with her group and took photos. I made a couple goofy attempts to get "1 kiss". But she was super shy. We held hands but eventually she went home with her sister. There were zero targets remaining so I left too.

Next morning she's texting me she loves me. I invite her over but the convo is incomprehensible even with google translate. I only had a few hours so packed and went to eat.

I've had this experience with several women around the world. Always annoys me how I have several "empty" hours each morning and evening. But to make anything happen you have to be sticking around town more than a day. And usually be willing to sacrifice the whole day and night to the seduction.

I don't know how guys like BB do it. I get super bored as soon as I run out of INTERESTING stuff to do. Hanging with the locals and drinking day after day brings me no joy. I've tried it a few times and sure I got laid but it was completely unsatisfactory. Then I feel like I have to rush other parts of my trip to compensate.

The local women themselves are hardly ever pretty/slim enough to justify the wasted time either. Even the prostiutes are barely bangeable on a physical level. I read Fisto's epic thread and saw some pictures that were still viewable. I think damn he's a tall jacked MMA fighter who sacrificed almost every day and night to drinking and doing pickup, but from the pics of the girls I'd still choose sightseeing over banging almost all of them. Yet unless you stick in one place and create that level of abundance then end up still only banging mostly 6-7s it's hard to maintain a strong frame. Like a catch-22.

Had a few girls from Battambang finally texting me back from badoo. But it's too late, I left. They were OK looking but I wouldn't stick around town once I've done everything just for a shot at banging them. This repeats itself everywhere I go. Siem reap has a pub street where everyone goes for nightlife. It's very similar to khaosan road in bkk.

The main bar/clubs are top club and cheers. Xbar is supposedly good but it's been empty and low key.

The quality of available girls is low. I've seen some good specimens daytime but they're always holding hands with a guy. Early in the night before/during/after dinner there are a few lookers in mixed groups, tour groups, families. Top club is still decent but most of the women are gone. Still a few decent girls but they're in groups and don't want anything to do with guys. I try opening a table mixed set of what looked like Chinese. The girls were hot. Bouncers immediately come over and motion me away.

SR seems pretty much like PP. Easy pickings for backpackers but most locals are p4p. There's also a Skybar on sok San Road I stopped by first bc it's next to my guesthouse. The drinks are reasonably priced and come with attention from the best looking whores in town. The pimp told me $5 to leave with any of the girls which didn't sound right. Clerk at my hotel said they'll want $50 for an hour of sex if you leave with them. But would probably take less. The whore who tried to get money from me dropped immediately to $20 and prob would have taken $10 to walk away.

Tinder date tonight turned out to be fat. No attraction but for fun I gave her lessons. She was so mousy and was sitting totally weird. I was like I think you need to learn how to act on a date. I tried getting shit faced in Sihanoukville one night and it didn't help me feel better about this kind of party. I just don't see the appeal. Everyone looks like they're having the time of their life. Meanwhile I'm walking around horrified. There wasn't one young, hot, in shape woman that I saw tonight or really any other night. They're around daytime in groups but I don't see them between 10-2 at night when there's a decent shot at pulling for sex.

I get home and see the girl from earlier replied to my note with a smiley face. I'm like wtf did she even understand my note was a huge insult and negative observation? I reply "huh so where are you now?". Damn I'm a desperate loser.

I do mind paying for women on a first meet (dinner whore) but $2.50 is not the issue. It's the way it went down. It was her idea for going for food. Neither her, her sister, nor the other dude bother kicking in even a nickel. Nor do they thank me. She actually grabbed the money out of my hand and gave it to the waiter before I could grab a smaller bill. I was shocked.

I had a lot of people treat me to dinner in my life and I ALWAYS asked if I could leave the tip or at least contribute the amount I had budgeted for my meals. People usually refuse the offer but appreciate the gesture. It communicates that you have class.

Not even making the gesture or thanking me was rude. Grabbing the cash from my hand as soon as it exits my wallet? That's trash. I started saying I think you should pay for yourselves but they were already up and leaving. Say all you want about her making $150/month this kind of behavior is unacceptable in any culture.

Too many Cambodian women are used to treating western men like atms. That morning I saw the Turkish guy returning to the hostel with a gross older prostitute who spent the night. I'm like really? He's like no no she's not a whore. I'm like did u pay her? He's like well yeah but she didn't want to take it. I'm like you just bought her breakfast huh? He's real happy like yeah and now we're gonna spend the day together!

Before we went out the other night he told me how he did the same thing in Bangkok. Paid girl, took her shopping, paid her food and drink to spend day together.

His next stop is pattaya and he will do same thing. He's basically on a sex vacation. Granted he's like 60 and from a Muslim country so I'm not judging him. But the effect on the tourist dynamic with Cambodian women really sucks. These girls weren't even 7s once I saw them in the light.

Cambodia is definitely the place to bring a women with you. I have banged a bunch of nice Khmer girls that were 6-7s and found two to travel with me for short stints. I think if you have low standards your experience here would be very different.

The not saying thank you part is common in SEA as you should know. Not only a Cambodia thing.

It annoyed me a little at first also but I think it's simply a sign you are hanging with some people of the lower classes. They don't know any better.

Therefore lower class people will 100% assume you are paying. A richer local wouldn't have it any other way out of facesaving. Or more likely, they simply don't associate with poor people.

One thing I worked out pretty quickly in the Phils was to establish who I'm having dinner with beforehand. If you don't in a place such as the Phils it's quite possible that the whole family might show up.

Your idea of being ripped off for $5 somehow just doesn't compute. The minute you sat down with them to get dinner it was already assumed you were paying. At least you had the sense not to make a scene this time. Seems like you're learning. Haha.

In summary, if you don't like this avoid the semi pros and/or poor chicks. That's a tough one in Cambodia though for sure.

I swore off Cambodia's shitty night game. I told myself I would daygame and meet a normal hot girl today. I forgot to ask if she had a boyfriend.

I saw a beautiful girl sitting in the window at Angkor Wat. Approached and chatted her. Malaysian. An 8-9 with a gorgeous body. Asked if she was traveling alone. She said yes. She's goesinto bullshit about not wanting a hookup. I interrupt. I probably would still have met you bc as I said repeatedly over drinks it's been really hard to meet classy people in cambodia.

But I also would still have appreciated knowing you're not single. It's less awkward for both of us. I also wouldn't have turned down another date like I did. I could be meeting someone else soon otherwise. It's a small courtesy but it doesn't cost you anything.

She genuinely seemed to not understand why a guy would want to hear this during the initial meet and not as we walked up the steps to the bar. I'm like look I'm gonna drop it but at this point i feel insulted which is why Ive been turning you down for another drink. I'm just really fed up dealing with trashy people in Cambodia.

She acted all pissy and went into another diatribe about how I'm good looking and night is young and I can go find many other girls. Asia is easy for white guys.

I interrupt and say did you not listen to me earlier. There's no good looking women out past 9pm unless they are prostitutes. If you're truly ignorant of how to indirectly communicate your relationship status that's one thing which is why I brought this up.

But you seem to think it's ok to use me and tell me you're doing it while you're actually doing it and that it's bc I'm white and I have it easy in life. You're being prejudice and rude. It's a social turnoff. Yet you keep asking me to have another drink? I'm feeling a bit insulted and used. And it just doesn't seem to register as with you which has me totally confused bc you're an educated woman (degree in France).

She says fine I'm going to go and tries to give me a hug. I'm shocked and give her a half hug pat.

I think the girl from tinder knows I was on a date bc she texted saying u were at Xbar aren't you. The radio silence. Small town. I think she must know one of the girls on staff.

Just came back from my 3rd short visit to PP in less than 1 1/2 months. Didn't hit up any nightlife locations, but did ring in the NY at NagaWorld with some of my wife's colleagues. Like I said initially my biggest mistake was flying into pp first. SR is a much better starting point if you want easy lays + culture with minimal hookers.
