ONS or SDL gives you only marginally better emotional fulfillment than a hooker. Many times less, because of all the emotional energy you have to put into getting them. Banging a lot of girls that you don't feel any emotional connections with actually takes a greater emotional toll on you than a lot of guys realize.

Indeed - over time and probably because of my meditative and contemplative practices I have learnt a kind of healthy detachment from my emotions. I actually managed to separate the feeling of falling in love with deep love, so that it did not concern most of my emotions. You can actually fall in love with a woman and still be detached about it to a high degree.

If you deny that element within yourself it probably blows up sooner or later and you become obsessed with a girl who is likely the worst kind of girl to be involved with.

Healthy inner detachment is a valuable skill in life - many monks from Christian Franciscans to Muslim Sufis preach it. Red Pill gives you a mental set of real-life rules on how the mating life operates, but it does not cover your emotional or inner life automatically. And of course there are pitfalls for men too who go through countless girls and sometimes lose a part of themselves in the process (going Dark Triad). It helps to have a LTR with a cute feminine girl to realize that it is not a world filled with whores and sluts - despite the constant negative conditioning.
