So I'm hanging out at the local park and playground with my kid today. He's running around like a mad man and made friends with another kid there. So they come hang out on my bench under the shade of the canopy here. I always have cool drinks with me in a cooler. A minute later a woman approaches me and starts a conversation. I'm looking all cool in my new denim jacket(thanks to the denim thread ) and white v-neck shirt and I assume it's his mom and go into my cool dad mode ramble. Turns out she's just watching him for the day for her girlfriend. We hit it off and she asks me for my number so we can meet up again and the kids can play. Yeah right.

So she texts me so I have her number and we say goodbye cause she had to leave. They were going to the movies. "Yeah I'll definitely hit you up" she says.

Parlay's getting chased

Turns out she's from one town over from where my parents live and now lives one town over from me. Cool chick. Long black hair. Blonde bangs. Milky white skin and one arm all sleaved out. Kinda like a metal/rockabilly chick.

But she was friendly, intelligent, fun to chat with. I'd say she's under 30. Solid 7.

I don't get approached too often ...but it does happen. You gotta always be on your toes.

I'll text her tomorrow to follow up "So how was the movie?"

Game on.

It's just another situation where you have to run Don't Fuck Up Game....Don't be weird, Don't be too boring and Don't be too complacent

As SydneyD said, most of this aspect of game is just getting out of your own way. She already wants you and has made that clear, and it sounds like you did a pretty good job at it. Best of luck.

Rarely do you get chased and they lay down flat.
They initiate, but still expect you to put in work.

Any approach on her part I merely treat as eye contact, and then I handle that situation like any other.

The thing with eye contact or warm approach scenarios is the invitation doesn't mean she's convinced..yet. Most guys fuck it up by assuming he's already in there.

The other fuck up is playing it cool, like you don't need to impress her. (Or in our case, get her to jump through our hoops)

And for you handsome devils, it's not recognizing your own value, because a chick that approaches is throwing social convention to the wind, but she only does that with worthy dudes. Typically the attracted girl is of lesser quality than you could get if you pursued. But if she's in your upper levels of hot girls, that means you should be shooting higher generally.

In this situation,

1)you can do the logical thing and text her with some detail you remember from your meeting. Much like picking a topic of conversation from an online dating profile.

Or

2) you can go Non sequitur, and hit her with the unexpected, and I don't mean a dick pic.

Or

3) you can assume attraction, then shoot for rapport.

This is seriously one of the more frustrating game scenarios because you feel so close. The truth is that you might be preselected for some Bible School time, but it's on her time table. You have to get her out in order to figure out how fast she wants to get to Communion.
