Having a tan looks good, but what's more important is having a good healthy complexion. If you work out every day or twice a day, you'll get great circulation, especially in the face, and develop a healthy red glow. That glow is what is attractive to chicks. It's a sign of health and a biological indicator of fitness and a good immune system etc.

And the other strategy is to eat a lot of colored food. The pigments from fruits and vegetables will go directly to your skin. Overload on the vitamin A's, beta carotene (especially), berries etc. Drink a few glasses of low sodium V8 every day and watch your skin change in color. But don't over do it.

Exercise and food=naturally healthy complexion.

And this goes for darker skinned dudes as well.

I'm so pale that my skin probably reflects the sunlight like a white t-shirt.

My students always say I look like Robert Pattison because of my skin colour (I look nothing like him, but its nice to have that associated with myself).

In England people would say "wow, you look pale :-O". In Asia, they say the same thing but as a compliment. I slap on sun cream religiously here. I wanna keep my white skin in tact!

I was in bed with a rather dark girl a few weeks ago. We turned the light off and it looked like I was glowing

Then again, one of the other teachers says I look like a member of the Hitler Youth

I'm not sure if you're joking but I'm fairly sure that plant pigments like chlorophyll (which is green), carotenoids (which are red and yellow) and anthocyanins (blue pigments) aren't going directly to your skin once you've eaten them. If they did, you'd look like this:

^^^ Carrots definitely do, though. Try eating an insane amount of carrots and your skin will turn orange.

I'm not self-conscious about my paleness, but other people seem to care much more.

Went to a beach this weekend that was somewhat rougher. Most people were tanned.

People gawking at me. Yank marines trying to mock me from afar (of course in big groups - not one of them came up to me and said it to my face). Local delinquent guys coming over to interrupt my sets and cockblock me asking why I was so white. My wing started to laugh, saying he could lipread what people were saying every time we passed. LOL.

Luckily, there were enough girls on the beach that liked the whiteness. I'm in pretty good shape right now too with visible abs. Got a bunch of numbers and almost got laid that same day. If you are going to stand out, then own it. Sink or swim.

Overall, I'm not bothered about being pale but people's reactions do get annoying at times.

There was a pretty cool Jamaican guy who was as dark as they come. We were shooting the shit and he was like "I'm sorry man. Maybe I shouldn't stand next to you!" Not sure why he would think I care, or why being white is bad, but everyone assumes you do care.

Yeah, particularly in the sense that a lot of guys who probably aren't getting laid are going to say a lot more negative stuff behind your back than the women who are coming home with you.

It's a lot like anything else which sets you apart from the pack in that regard.

Im kind of pale myself, tho i can tan. Still it takes a while to tan for me laying in the sun for hours which i dont want to do. I would definatly go the spray tan route, i thought it was gay before but its great. Even if they have bronzer in them which most do itll come off when u have a shower. When ur done ur spray tan you'll look like a mexican but after a shower u have a perfect tan that i doubt ur friends will even notice. I stopped doing that now tho and instead have been buying tanning mouse. Someone recommended the St. Tropaz in here which i have but i find no name brands for cheaper actually work better. Only tried the St. Tropaz once tho.

You just seem more confident with a nice tan i find, i always "tan up" as i like to call it before i meet up with chicks

I think is more important to focus on accepting yourself as pale than using the creams. I am very pale and cbf using tanning products even though I have in the past. My family always says I am so white. Being pale can cost you bangs but you just have to not give a fuck. Otherwise you will always rely on the products.

I can get girls without them as im not that pale. But being tanner you just look better, and imo have more confidence. Im half English, half German so not that bad. My mom can actually tan rly dark like an Italian or something but my dad is pale.

Never started using the products until about two yrs ago im in my mid 20's.
