Some of these things I learned from my own experiences and others from guys who taught me everything they knew about game. During an intense six year period starting in 2001 I was going out four nights a week throwing everything I had at the girls I wanted to sleep with. I did things like ask them why they were so drunk and even approached with stick figure drawings on napkins to make them laugh.

It does not have to do with indirect approach vs. direct approach but how the conversation flows afterwards.

Is this a underused aspect of game in general? Because I don't hear and read it that much.

I think this is pretty self-explanatory for most members in the sense that everyone uses it so much it's not really worth mentioning anymore. You'll see threads asking for "best response to" every now and then. Usually it's this sort of stuff.
