There was last summer but it seems to be cleared out for the most part.

How's Tinder for ONS for a few days stay for the asian dudes. Love the Ukranian look. I don't mind banging a Ukranian 5 if thats equivalent to an American 6/7. Heck I wouldn't mind banging some 40 yr MILF, as long as they put out first date (which seems quite hard according to members here, but unsure if thats from day game or applies even to online hoes)

ONS and Ukraine go together like Roosh and Feminists.. doesn't really matter whether it's online or day game. Maybe you can get lucky, but if I was betting I wouldn't be on your side unless you were staying 10 days plus. Travelling Ukrainians are a bit different -ie Montenegro, but at home 3 dates or maybe 2 good ones is the rule.

I got two same day lays meeting chicks I randomly met off of Couchsurfing. They were back to back and I consider that just a fluke and not representative of Ukraine or my game skills. These girls were simply looking to hook up with an American. Daygame can get you in bed with a girl on 2nd or 3rd date if you know what you're doing. You'll loose a lot of girls in the process though if you push too hard.

Can you explain what you mean by randomly met on CS? Did you meet them in a group, did they message you to host, ..etc?

SNLs from Tinder are possible even in Ukraine. You need to set your frame right and screen for DTF girls. Your frame: r-selected badboy, lover, tell them you leave soon (they love the anonymity), smart but non reactive. Girl down for SNL: hippsterish, 18-25yo, smokes, loves travel, might have tattoos, might work in a bar or in media, speaks English. Don't pipeline too far ahead. Best is to get matched while she is ovulating and meet up as soon as possible. Good luck.

I just scroll through hosts living in whatever city I happen to be visiting and send them a message. Just tell them I'm going to be in their city for however long and that I don't need a host but would love to meet up for a drink or coffee. The two SNLs I actually just had them meet me while I was working online at a coffee shop. My apartment was just walking distance away so we ended up bouncing there after. In one case the girl suggested we go to hers which was around the corner from mine anyway.

Oh okay, that's essentially what I did a few days ago. Sent out a few messages and got a few responses. I'm somewhat new to CS though, I was under the impression not to get too flirty with the girls on there, but having heard your story I'll just keep an open mind about it. Thanks for sharing that.

New here to Ukraine. Only my 4th day here. What is up with the posturing? Seriously... Both men and women have this overly serious air about them. Saying hi and small talk aren't a thing here. Is this some remnant soviet era mentality?

The social experiments I've been able to pull off in 4 days are hilarious. Sending over random hot chicks drinks, because it costs a dollar. Watching them get flustered and not know how to respond. Catching a chick staring and shooting her a wink. That one almost made me piss myself laughing.

So are we too light hearted as Americans or are these people too uptight? Honest question.

Nice posturing.
Because an American can do no wrong by being "too light hearted"

It's like a Ukrainian going to California and asking, "are we too sincere with our interactions or are Americans too fake with their smiling? Honest question."

... I got the bang.

RE: The Ukraine Thread III
Has anyone here obtained the three year tourist visa for Russia from the consulate on Volunteer battalions street?

If so what were the exact requirements you had to fulfill and how much exactly did you have to pay and how long was the processing? I've heard through the grapevine that someone got it here but I'm curious if this was rush ordered and if medical insurance was required.

It's not easy to get the three year visa (obtainable only as an American) outside of the home country but it certainly is possible in Ukraine.

I have personally visited this consulate but was turned away because you have to make reserve a consultation online and it can be booked in advance.

@nomadofeu

Absolutely, I hadn't put the shoe on the other foot. A definite shortcoming.

Also as i see it, there is something to be said for a bit of light heartedness or pleasantry. For instance... many a traveler has had to stop at one point or another lost to ask for directions. Here so far my experience is you will be dismissed immediately more than not.

Now in several states back home for example, I've been stopped by a foreigner many times who speaks no English asking for directions. Every time I've muddled through the language barrier (unless i speak their language) and done my best to get people going in the right direction. Afterwards a smile and a well wish(be it fleeting and not interpreted.

I guess I'm asking in part to understand where this difference originates.

Edit: I also need to add that I genuinely took pleasure in helping the person get on their way. And this is clearly a learned common behavior from other Americans. I'd be hard pressed to name many friends or family that wouldn't do the same.

After living in Poland and now being back in Ukraine, it's a stark contrast.

In Poland:

- friendly people
- friendly servers
- helpful people
- people have a sense of humor
- decent service
- girls are playful
- girls are not transactional. if they like you they fuck you.

In Ukraine:

- unfriendly / cold people
- Neutral to angry servers
- people are unhelpful / dickheads
- No sense of humor / don't get when you're messing around
- terrible service
- girls don't know what being playful is and don't get it when you're goofing around a bit.
- always an underlying sense of transaction even if the girl likes you

Ukrainian girls personalities overall are just shit.

I received a 3-year Russian visa, while in Kiev in June 2015, at the Russian consulate. No medical insurance was necessary. Just printed out the application form, filled it out, and paid around $160 in UAH I recall. I did have to give them my passport, and got it back 10 days later with the visa.

I think problem is the money, or lack of it. Ukrainian girls from wealthier homes/families are not that transactional.

I have to completely disagree regarding the sense of humor, Ukrainians can be funny as fuck once you get to know them, or even by observing the stuff they sometimes do to each other. I don't find Polish people so humorous, quite the opposite.

As for Jameson Ranger question, well, life is hard, most people make 100$ to 150$ a month while the elites of politicians and the 5 or 6 families that rule Ukraine are funneling all the money to their pockets. And going back just to modern history, you have a country that lived the crazy post Soviet 90s, the Perestroika, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the WWII, the forced Stalinist collectivizations, the Soviet made famine (or Holodomor), a civil War, WWI...and so on.
But it is also a Soviet trait, friendliness just for no apparent reason, is perceived as weakness or foolishness. You will get used to it fast, and once you make some connections you will see they are nice people in general.

It's not lack of money. Had a girl over the other night that has a good job, her own apartment, a nice car, but the transctional element is still there.

By sense of humor I mean joking around, being light-hearted, not serious all the time. Poles are like westerners in this way, Ukrainians are not. They just look at you, like why are you joking around?

Whether they're poor or not they could still be decent and nice human beings. Africans and south east asians manage it just fine.

I've encountered these issues so I can't disagree entirely.
However what I have found is that if I'm patient and the girl is interested, she'll listen. If you offer them better alternatives to their current way of thinking, they'll adapt to your point of view and be open to sex. It's just time invested.

I would prefer to say their mindset is more practical; their temperament, more cold-blooded.

Not necessarily bad, but different. This is the local market we are operating in and have to adapt to.

In a way they are the opposite of Latin America.

RE: The Ukraine Thread III
Just returned from a 3-week stint in Ukraine; staying in and around Odessa, Kiev then finally Lviv in the west.

Of the three places I visited, the girls in Kiev were by far the most attractive (I'd say on average 3 points higher on the scale).

In Odessa, the best talent was found in and around the opera house; in Kiev, the metro is (literally) overflowing with beautiful girls. The central area around Maidan Square was similarly bountiful.

I'm a taken man, but were I a gamer then Kiev would be my place. I was impressed by the standards in Belgrade, but Kiev is truly on a different level.

I was also very impressed with much of the city, which in the central areas had a very grand, aristocratic feel. The country is clearly in a bad way though; life is a struggle for the majority and you can understand why many westerners are seen as a meal-ticket out of there. Chump dudes will get taken for all they are worth.

I read it somewhere on the forum (I think it was a post by Greek Kamaki, a while back) that whilst Ukrainian people are typically stony-faced to strangers, winning them over and getting a warm smile is a great experience. This happened a number of times and was a pleasure every time.

As an aside, be careful on the sleeper trains; keep your ticket on you at all times. I was nearly scammed when someone tried to steal mine and sell it back to me. Other than that experience, using the sleeper trains to get around was a comfortable, inexpensive way to see the country; I covered a considerable distance (and got two nights' accommodation!) at a total cost of around £30.

Can anyone recommend apartment rentals sites for Odessa? alternative to Western sites like Airbnb etc because they can be bloody expensive, they are taking advantage of the Western tourists, I know for sure that Ukrainian sites would be much more cheaper.

If anyone could give any recommendations, many thanks!

Why would you want to be in Odessa for long enough to make it worth renting an apartment? This place is dead right now, and from what I've read it's dead most of the year except for a brief window in the Summer.

Not true - http://webcam.scs.com.ua/en/europe/ukraine/odessa/

I will be going there with a friend in June for like one month when the weather will be OK, it will be around 23°C - 13°C, also I speak Russian fluently so I won't have any problems.
