There are plenty on airbnb in Shevshenko, Podil and Pechersk. You may be able to strike a deal with the landlord, or ask about others in the same building that may be available to rent. I don't know how to find short stay apartments, I only dealt with long stay stuff. Others can probably advise you better on that. But you shouldn't be paying more than $1k even at a short stay premium, and you ought to be getting something very nice and brand new for that.

Here's what I did for finding an apartment when I moved to Kiev: I booked a few places on dobovo for a couple days each in different neighborhoods and then looked around to see where I wanted to live and negotiated a cash rate for longer term stay.

I arrived in October, so any time during the off-season it's easier to negotiate. In the summer forget it.

Ended up getting an awesome place by Zoloti Vorta facing the back of Sofiisky Sobor for 11,500 grivna, but this was 2016 so it won't be that cheap unless you go further outside the center or compromise on quality.

If you speak Russian, try OLX, but beware the scams.

The penthouses in EE won't be on the level of Medellin mainly because of climate differences.

Yea that is true. But Excluding the roof top patios. The interior design is mediocre in Kyiv apartments. It is not a big deal. I just like having every advantage I can get; Style, physique, nice place, status, and of course game. Especially dealing with the higher quality girls. I am going to be in Kyiv for a few days from Friday on and then travel to Kharkiv, but also just for a few days.
The purpose of the trip had nothing to do with pursuing girls, but I figured since I am already there, it wouldn´t hurt to check if something is possible.

I read multiple times that girls in Ukraine are conservative and you need to build a lot of comfort over multiple dates. Since I just stay for a few days in Kyiv, that obviously doesn´t work for me.
