Yeah, that's the one. It's completely empty because it's overpriced (millions to own) and when it rains the streets flash flood, so from what I understand no one will ever move there. But during sunny days you'll catch many people doing photo sessions, mainly girls. It's not a prime spot to highlight but just something you may want to casually check out. I've ran into many girls there, especially on the hill overlooking it.

As for the gym, check out Atletiko (atletiko.kiev.ua), they have a few in the city. It's the only one that I know of that you can pay monthly or by visits, i.e. for 5 visits it's 200 UAH. So it's perfect for short term visitors. The one on Bulvarno-Kudriavksa is pretty decent, but just go near closing hours or you'll be waiting to use benches/machines.

That's part of the reason why I didn't herald it. The other being that whenever I pm a member here about information on anything they never reply, possibly due to my lack of 'credentials' here. As you can see I haven't been an active member really.

You are right, discovering Arena is like going to Paris and discovering a tall structure made of iron. But anyway, cool breakdown of the place, and yes, quality is top notch, world class indeed, be it afternoon, evening or night time.

I went to about 3 new bars alone on Sunday night none of which I can remember their names for now, but all about 10 mins from the centre and all were hopping with good looking normal girls. I suppose it's because I know Ukrainians here from London, but I keep reading the same shit everytime I go on this thread. There is more to Kiev than Arena and shooters.
