IDK if you're being sarcastic but that whole situation was terrible. No person should be robbed during work.

Somewhat unrelated but this is why I think all store clerks should have a loaded gun under the table. Its the only way to deter these animals.

Let's be clear: nobody is celebrating that crime. Certainly, I'm not. The point I am making is that in the real world -- the world where this unfortunate woman got harmed -- men and women are not interchangeable. Our society is naïve and wrong to send the message that there are no differences between men and women. All of us would be well served by remembering that one of those differences is that women are physically weaker than men. This is one of the reasons why women in particular should be against gun control. Firearms are one of the few true equalizers for women in terms of their personal safety in a dangerous world.

I agree. What I find especially troubling is how normal the situation seemed until a split second before the thug punched this poor woman in the nose. It is a sobering reminder of how thin the boundary is between safety and danger.

She looks great for being 35 and pregnant! (pre punch). This kind of thing makes me ill though, beyond that broken nose that woman is going to be traumatized for the rest of her life because it was so unexpected.

If she had been in his face, demanding he buy her a drink or slapping him, different story. Here, this was just like the knockout game with cash prizes. I feel bad for the dude too because you can tell that he had to work himself up to it. Humanity can be a real let down.

On the lighter side, who was she typing to afterwards? Was she on facebook writing "omg, just punched in the face?!" and where the hell is Crystal?

A loaded gun would have just put her in a more dangerous situation. She got sucker punched, plain and simple. Unless she knew how to parry the sudden attack, that gun is more likely to be used against her. The only way to stop something like this is to put Clint Dempsey behind the counter.

Yeah, whatever side you stand on when it comes to gun control, I'm not sure I want every clerk having access to a loaded gun. Misunderstandings can go awry quickly.

First of all Glock stop trolling.
Second, start being a man and don't take away rep points when someone is disagreeing with you, cause you acting like a spoiled brat.

Third even if that woman had pistol or any other firearm she wouldn't be able to react let alone harm that guy. Weapon would only hurt her in that situation because after that hit you are stunned. So aggressor can take your weapon and shoot you.

That guy know what he is doing and he didn't rob someone for the first time. I was robbed in exact same way on a street. Got tap on shoulder and punch in nose so hard i didnt know what has happened dont even remember the face of the guy that stole my Nokia 3210 back in the day when these phones were cool.

No sympathy with the guy. He did not need to use 20% of the force to incapacitate her.
The girl seemed nice and was just doing her job.
I would have shot him on the spot without any remorse whatsoever.

I don't care about bitches getting slapped for aggressive behavior or sometimes getting hurt in return as they attack a man.
