Mike, I agree it's important to call out frauds.

Where these debates cease to be productive is what you've termed "moving goal posts." How could Chris prove his video was legit? How could we prove it was fraud? If we don't have an objective standard, it's just groupthink consensus. Case and point:

Infield videos already have an element of fakeness, because the guy isn't talking to women for his own pleasure, but for the benefit of his audience. It's a performance.

I prefer to give people benefit of the doubt. I'd rather let a few frauds go then go on a witchhunt against someone who doesn't deserve it, because I know the effect a witchhunt can have on a community.

Now, on evidence: The fact two of these girls may have a model mayhem profile makes me raise an eyebrow because if someone was looking to cast actresses for a pickup video, that's the site they'd go to. If all the girls in this video came from model mayhem, I'd have to conclude the video is fake, because that's just highly unlikely.

It's very obviously fake. More fascinating than whether it's fake or not, is that he has actually managed to convince a few people here of it's authenticity.

It just goes to show that if you repeat something enough times, no matter how outrageous, there are people out there who will believe you. That's all you really need to sell your product. If nothing else, it's definitely an interesting lesson in marketing.

One way to retroactively prove it's legit would be to dump the full 9 hours of unedited video online. If he was actually sitting on the bench for 20 minutes waiting for blondie to walk by again and then walked around with no cuts and approached the other girl it would go a long way. If it was setup he would probably have a discussion with them beforehand, "OK you should be cold at first then open up as I get up to leave", "You should be friendly but have a BF", etc.

Or he could just give all their numbers to Soup to do some research...

Like I said before the thing in this thread that set off my BS detector was that it was in Seattle (busted chicks). Now that we know it is in a better spot for girls and college girls (Boise). This makes more sense. I was asking where the park is because yes for an average American park it seems quite good for day game, why not let RVF know so locals could take a stab. I was looking for a positive.

And even if this turned out to be staged innocent newbie video I would still have a ton of respect for GLL.

If he and I were in a room I would shut up and take all his advice seriously.

Was just thinking that. It really does look like her, must be some way to hit her up and ask politely if she's done anything like 'game' videos before.

Knowing it's in Boise does make a difference IMO. I guess GLL just didn't want to give the exact location so he just said Seattle so as to not give too much away and/or protect the innocent.

Until proven otherwise seems like we're at an impasse. Some pretty good detective work in this thread in any case.

I'll say this - the amount of sleuthing that's possible with the internet now is something else.

Already the people on this thread have found the exact location he was gaming on google maps, and the facebook/model pages of the girls he was talking to.

In a couple years there will be facial recognition technology, and it'll be even easier to investigate anything.

He definitely said it was in Seattle in the comment section. My reading memory is very, very good. His original comments were, "Okay, I shouldn't say this, but I'll say it just for you. It was at a park near a campus in Seattle," or something very similar to that. The comments that said this are now deleted.

This is evidence in my eyes of tracks being covered and now I believe at least some of the video is fake. I know what I read, I only wish I had taken screen shots of it to prove it to others. I think he's been monitoring the comments and deleting the evidence.

It makes sense if he used models in order to increase the quality of the girls in the video, avoid legal issues, and help his videos spread online. Guys want to believe they can just walk into a park and game 10's.

With that said, there is a lot of misinformation here. "American women just dont react like that" Are you kidding me? You can basically walk up to almost any women in any town and get her phone number. If you don't believe that, you are either inexperienced or have not approached much at all.

I think the concept of approaching women in everyday life is so foreign and terrifying for most men, they rationalize it away.

I guess the issue here is that he should have let us know that it was fake. I thought the purpose of his video was ultimately to show noobs how easy it is for a shy guy to approach lizards.

I guess I do see the ire of some members debating that fake stuff shouldn't be posted.

I have checked out GLL's website and materials and he seems very frank with his videos etc. I really appreciate his honesty and no fluff.

I personally have no opinion on the video. Not applicable to my interests. I am more interested in his health and nutrition threads etc.

I truly was inspired when I watched this for the first time the other day, but the interaction with the runner girl threw me off.

The whole thing just seemed unnatural to me with her being extremely happy to have stopped running, even running in place, and then stretching afterwards like this was the most natural thing in the world being approached by a random guy in your workout. She wasn't guarded right off the bat at all. Not at all concerned about having been running and sweaty with her make-up dripping off of her face. And where the hell are her headphones? Running is boring. You go running without music? I walk around all day seeing solo people with headphones in to motivate themselves to keep pushing. I have to do this myself as well.

The interaction is supposed to have been at 2:38pm. At 42:26, did she just look right at the cameraman? At 42:41 he asks her what she's doing today and she says "just getting my morning run." Morning? I thought this was 2:38 in the afternoon? Hey could be a slip up of words but who knows?

There's just so many things going on that can make you question this vid.

I am recently back from a legendary trip to a foreign country where the people were warm and welcoming. Had my first threesome, and had a week long relationship with an awesome chick.

Now that I'm back I was hoping for inspiration to keep on hitting up chicks in my own country, but finding quality girls is a challenge and many are cold, isolated, on their phones, or have headphones in. I'm in canada, but hey maybe america is different. Just my thoughts.

This leads me to believe that we won't find the pages of the other girls, that the trail is being concealed proactively.

Count me as one of the people who usually likes GLL's stuff but is disappointed in this video. If you hire models to demonstrate a point, then say so.
