Due to the Crimean crisis it seems the Kazantip people decided to do it in Georgia this year. Will anyone go? I'm thinking about it.

I'm just afraid that we might encounter tons of superthirsty Iranians, Turks and Caucasus guys there owing to the location.

I have heard that Georgia is way more easier for Game than it seems.

Besides - plenty of regional guys are no competition for Westerners. Might be good.

The other option would have been Bulgaria, but that is EU and they would have had to change the event there.

Caucasus guys? Georgia is in Caucasus, so chances are majority of people you will see are "Caucasus guys". I don't think there will be any Iranians there. There are a lot of local Azerbaijani, Turks and Armenian minorities that live in Georgia.

I think the festival will draw mostly regular visitors from the previous years which means Russians, Ukrainians and other Eastern Europeans. Just thought it might attract more guys from the aforementioned places which could be a disadvantage but maybe I'm overestimating that. That alone should be no reason to not go, anyway.

Why Iranians? Many of them live in Armenia and Georgia and it's easy for them to visit these places due to easy visa policies. I don't mind them too much, though, since they are usually more open-minded and relaxed than Azeris, Georgians or Turks.

Seems like the Kazantip festival is cancelled, this year : "Therefore kaZantip 2014 takes a time-out and won't be held this summer..." , as seen on http://kazantip.com/

They even provide us with an online "SIMPLE STEP-BY-STEP MANUAL" on "how to get inside"

I'm going to Anaklia. That's where the real Kazantip will take place, with all the famous DJs. I've been going to the festival for the last 3 years and it has been a blast. The real site is http://www.kazantipa.net. I don't expect many Russians to go this time, but they are not charging for the ViZas for Ukrainian and Georgian girls so there should be a few of them. It's not an easy place to pick up but with a bit of patience and a bit of Russian it's possible. I've managed to get a festival-girlfriend both times and in both cases they were really hot (and cool) girls.

If someone else is going, let me know.

you guys should totally go to that event. Its a pretty anti russian thing with all the craziness about Crimea annexation and Georgia decided to cash in on that. I suspect tons of ukrainian girls who should have a strong anti russian sentiment as well as georgian girls and all of them are incredibly pro western.
