Talk about a wild ride, and complete turn around, man.

My already low tolerance for people lacking ambition and effort just got even lower. This man demonstrates to those that aren't getting results yet that if you truly desire something then nothing should stop you from trying whatever is necessary.

It feels kinda strange, being in the total opposite position I used to be in.

I used to go around hoping for contact with any girl I could find.. If any girl gave me even the slightest bit of attention, I latched onto it for dear life. Oh, of course, I knew that I "shouldn't" latch on - that if I latched on, it would come across as "needy" and might drive the girl away - so I would use all the game tricks to appear aloof and disinterested. But underneath it all, I was pouncing even if I saw the mere shadow of what might be a shot with a girl. Any girl at all. Pounce.

But in Thailand, we westerners get approached by 100+ women with varying degrees of involvement with the sex industry every day. Everything from massage girls calling out to give massages (most of which can be upgraded to a happy ending once inside) to go-go girls and bargirls to outright prostitutes and streetwalkers.

So I'm actually fending off advances. For the first time ever, I'm trying NOT to get attention from girls.

Now of course this isn't because my game suddenly got super-awesome. It always was But all kidding aside, every guy should at least visit a place like this, even if you don't believe in Pay-for-Play. I am personally quite turned off by it, but there's something about the ATMOSPHERE of being in a place rife with sex-work... it changes a person's way of thinking. It's shown me what it feels like to be the one in demand. To be the prize.

When 100 women a day are trying to get your attention, you're in the opposite position of what you're used to, and it shows you life from the other perspective. How it feels to be the one annoyed by having too many sexual advances, instead of the one frustrated by having none.

Thailand is the most extreme example. Other countries in Asia lay somewhere more towards the middle of the spectrum. China was like this, only way less intense, and the advances weren't overtly sexual or designed to get my money... So if you like the idea of Sexual Marketplace Role-Reversal, but can't stomach life in a giant open-air brothel, then I suggest heading to China or any other place in Asia besides Thailand. (Although I hear the small rural Thai towns are very conservative, and nothing like the big sex-tourist areas).

But I've actually got a new dilemma now... you see I'm the opposite of a city person. I'm a nature-lovin tree-hugger at heart, and the girl I'm living with lives right smack in the middle of Bangkok... by some studies, the world city with the least amount of greenspace per capita. I don't even know where the nearest tree is.


I want to get out, but I don't want to leave her. She's somewhat open to the idea of moving WITH me, but she would have to quit her new job.

I'm not sure if the reason why I like this girl is because we really are a superb match... or whether it's simply because she's the deepest relationship I've had so far, and it feels good to be "in a relationship." The Chinese rich girl from before wasn't really that intimate with me... we had sex, but she was emotionally guarded and a bit cold, and saw me as kind of a boy toy, a western trophy boyfriend. But the one I'm with now is much warmer, more open, more vulnerable, more.... umm... wifely. She's wife material. She's Filipina, just to give you an idea. She gives off the impression of being very loyal and devoted. She cooks for me almost every night. And she doesn't randomly "break up" with me at the drop of a hat just cuz she's "busy".

So I don't know whether I'm into HER... or whether I'm more into the relationship itself.

It's a dilemma, to be sure. But it's a GOOD dilemma. I much prefer this over agonizing about how to get a girl to look at me long enough to say hello.

I still talk to my buddies back in Baltimore. The ones who were single and frustrated are still single and frustrated. Still complaining about why no girl will talk to them. Nothing's changing for them. The feminist West is starving an entire generation of intimacy. Good luck to everyone who's still struggling over there. I won't forget what it was like.

I don't think you should thinking about long term with this girl right now, and definitely not moving to another location with her. You are barely, what, 6 months to 1 year into your new found life? There is much more still to experience and learn. You've shown yourself you are capable of meeting and banging multiple women in different countries. The one you are with now is no unicorn, there are millions of her out there. Her quitting a job to go with you, that has potential to become a huge point resentment when things in the new location aren't going so great.

I say maybe move on to the Philippines if possible. There are multiple decent cities there with mountainous areas near by that would give you the outdoorsy fix you seem to need, and all the ass you could dream of, or another sweet girl if you want

Whatever you choose, keep up the progress, you're doing great.

However I think there's benefits to letting the OP find out the hard way. He has definitely fail a lot before turning his life around, and he has a remarkable resilience. I think risking a first LTR can teach him a lot more than what we can write on the internet.

What an epic thread. Read it all. 3000 approaches and not one lay is incredible.

When you were with the Chinese girl, all I could think of was, kiss her, kiss her! They may be conservative but there are always "leaps of faith" and one of those is the first kiss. I can think of quite a few times where my escalation was clunky or near non-existent apart from a brief hug, but once we were in private I just took her waist gently and kissed her, it naturally escalates from there.

Starting on "easy mode" in the Phils, learning how to escalate on a good number of women, then going for slightly more difficult places (easier countries in SAm), gradually moving up until escalation is no longer a problem, not just with pinays who allow a hell of a lot of "mistakes" your average girl in the west would dump you for. Then again, if your preference is for kind, sweet, feminine pinays, and you are most content there, moving just for the sake of "improving game" might just be and ego based decision and not really beneficial at all. If on the other hand you have a sudden craving for latinas, or slavics, you might be persuaded to move. Heck even if the place is near perfect sometimes I get an annoying "itch" that I need to move. Its similar to what Roosh describes in some of his writings; he has a nice, feminine, beautiful girlfriend, or a few of them, in a nice city, everything is perfect, but he dumps all that to go to some industrial EE shithole and chase new tail. It's an unhealthy addiction at times.

I've read the entire thread and I want to congratulate OP for accepting the generous help offered by senior RVF members. You described your problems with pinpoint accuracy and some members like Giovonny have positively identified your sticking points. Also it's very admirable you took the necessary steps to overcome your game problems and managed to find a girlfriend using the advice provided by the veteran members.
