I see these types of stories too often today. Problems with making money is probably the prevalent one. It's obvious that this guy has never closely examined the reasons of why he isn't getting laid. He mentioned going out with women, but always ended up home alone playing video games at the end of the night.

The reason he ended up alone is simply that he preferred playing video games to getting laid. Going home and playing video games is safe. There's no unknown, there's no possibility of rejection, there's only the comfort of the familiar end to the night which probably included fapping to the very girl he was out with earlier.

I completely understand his plight. I've been there at different times with money, politics, women, and health. I hope someday he'll come to enjoy venturing into the unknown as much as I do. It would be a shame for him to die this young and just wait around another 50 years to make it official.

This is a powerful article, but not for the reasons the author thinks it is. It shows:

1. How important sexual function and identity are for men. Early rejections in life, for a sensitive soul, can be crippling. As much as he tries to rationalize away his virginity as "not so bad", the more hollow it sounds.

2. American women generally enjoy handing out brutal rejections, especially to nerds. No mercy, no sympathy, no attempt to spare his feelings in any way, shape, or form. Without steely resolve, the effect can be crushing.

3. He consistently has refused to make the self-improvements necessary (wardrobe, social skills, conversational skills, game, etc) to change his lot. His brain is now conditioned to his being a failure with women, and it's going to get harder as he gets older to snap out of his patterns. At some point, you have to stop having sympathy for people who don't want to change.

4. This guy is not so horribly ugly or deformed (it appears) that he couldn't get something if he wanted to.

5. He still-erroneously--subscribes to the belief that the right one "will just come along." Wrong. Unless he takes action, he's going to be in the same place 2 years from now.

Without reading all the comments on this thread or much of the guy's blog, I can say with relative certainty that his main problem is social and/psychological. There are uglier guys than him with less game who still get laid.

I'd be willing to bet money that he's still a virgin because he just doesn't fucking try (enough), and if he has approached, he sure as hell isn't doing anywhere near the amount he could be doing. These self-proclaimed "incels" are basically digging their own graves by moaning and fixating on their lack of sex (not to mention using said lack of sex as a form of self-identification) instead of focusing their minds on chasing after what they want.

I was a virgin until 21. My first two "pre-game" lays (a fling and a GF) were due largely to luck, but also to the fact that I made myself approach, knowing full well I could get rejected. I've gone through more than a fair share of dry spells, rejection marathons (sometimes rude ones), but every time, I refused to sit in a corner moping and instead kept approaching.

Working out getting new clothes will certainly help, but there are ripped and fashionable guys who can't get laid either. Fitness and fashion are supplements, but only adopting the literal mindset "I will never stop until I get what I want or I drop dead!" will get guys like these any results.

I'm not a virgin anymore, but I understand exactly where this guy is coming from. I also have lots of theories on him because I've had a similar life.

He probably has major mom issues. My guess is that mom was emotionally distant and ignored him. That was exactly how my mother has been.

He looked to fulfill this void with females. At an early age (probably 11 or 12), girls could sense his neediness. I suspect they started disrespecting him around that time as well.

Girls this age love to fuck with boys they don't respect. I remember girls giving me notes that they said were from other girls. Many times, they were just fakes. They just wanted to get me to pour my heart out so they could laugh at me later. They love to tease guys at that age.

Even boys get in on the act, too. They love to beat down boys who are already beaten down. They question your masculinity.

Plus, everyone tries to cockblock you. Many times, I tried to form friendships or more with girls. Almost immediately, any friends of hers (male and female) would dislike me instantly. If the girl actually did want to be friends with me, they simply couldn't believe it. At one point, I actually said to myself: "Never try to be friends with a girl you like."

One thing that helped me in high school was hanging out with kids in another town. I found a girl friend there. I had a different reputation. People didn't have all the judgments. I took the girl to the prom. Years later, we met up again and had sex.

Yes, I do feel bad for this guy. I feel bad because he got a lot of shitty programming into his head at an age when he was too young to realize that it was shitty programming.

The other day I threw in the orginal xbox's exclusive Buffy game which worked fine 6 years ago...guess what? THEY PATCHED OUT THE BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY. So now my original xbox games are worthless. In a few years they are gonna do the same to our 360 games on the xbox one. Watch.

So I went back to sony and the ps4. Now you can argue with me but I deal in facts. The fact is the ps2 has given me 15 years of enjoyment. After 20 years I can still play my ps 1 launch titles. I'm looking to invest in a 20 year system. I think Ps4 and wii u will give me those years. Just like my n64 did.

So here we go. Play. Station. I'm back.

I am trying to remember the last time I was brutally rejected, I would disagree with this. Women don't like having to reject guys that have their shit together. If it's a girl I sort of know, the most common rejection is "can I think about it" or "can I get back to you, I am sort of dating someone". And that is just a half assed rejection in and of itself.
