G_global, nobody minds different views, but me and a few others have a problem with how OP presented his experience here.

If he had just written that areas he was staying in for example don't have proper sidewalks I wouldn't even look at it twice. Now, I am also from Europe and this is my first time in 3rd world country and I didn't have any problems at all with sidewalks and I stayed at multiple different locations, what does that tell you ? Nobody else is also crying about this "issue" ...

  • On some blogs and posts here you come across the idea of picking up girls in the malls. This is one of those points where I ask myself if these people have ever really visited Davao or the Philippines because picking up at malls is almost completely impossible! I'd estimate that there is a less than 1/1000 of a chance of this "working."

Had he written that he is inexperienced or even that he just had "bad luck" with trying to pick girls in malls, nobody would care once again. But he actually accuses other people of lying and he does that with great confidence.

Taxis, blackouts everything hi his post is wrong or severely exaggerated.

People thanking him for his "opinion" and wanting "different views" are just doing disservice to anyone actually interested in learning about this place.

It's just like debating people that are denying climate change(or rather human involvement in it), no we are not going to listen to opinions of 5% retards no matter how confident they are in what they are saying. They opinions are stupid and shouldn't be even displayed at any bigger sites.

LOL..I have no interest in the location and I find it amusing how a bunch of newbies (LESS THAN 100 POSTS) are fighting about Davao and criticizing the OP(newbie himself). He has the right to his opinion and his report obviously reflects it.

I thought it was a good data sheet..more so because it reveal possible errors in judgement.

Seriously, who cares that his title mentions the word 'lies". He clearly stated he was talking in general and including blogs. Although he shouldn't have judged other members experiences. I think all of us can concur. I mean I saw a blog say live 'like a king on 200 dollars a month once'. Part of me doubts that...well maybe back in 1935 lol.

Bally Bally,
Perhaps but you addressed your post to my post, not to his, saying that your way was the only way to respond to OP. Thats what I took issue with - and its why I responded to yours, and not to Fisto, Enigma, Danger, Rio, or anyone else who might have raised an issue with OP's view of Davao.

Strip away judeo-christian ethics ingraining sex is dirty/bad & the idea we're taking advantage of these girls disintegrates. Once you've lost that ethical quandary (which it isn't outside religion) then they've no reason to play the victim, you've no reason to feel the rogue. The interaction is to their benefit.

Newbies? Huh

There's been just as many, if not more, established members who disagreed with the OP.

And I notice that the people saying it's a good datasheet haven't been to Davao.

So who is really the newbie here?

The information is wrong. As in, it's not even close. I don't know what else to tell you.

There's a difference between someone having a different experience or opinion and someone saying "this is utterly impossible" when it's not only possible, but easy.

If people aren't going to be held accountable and called out for providing false info, then there's no reason to even have this section of the forum.

As for the comments about giving him a hard time, this is a forum full of masculine men, not a bonfire at sensitivity camp. He issued a challenge, and it was accepted. People have been banned for less. I'm sure he'll live.

Next time you should say "I cannot learn any game there". Do you really think there are no guys in Germany that are absolutely killing it with hot girls? You sound like a game denialist.

You are just digging yourself deeper and deeper OP. The problem isn't with people's attitudes, but with your reporting and the confidence/authority with which you are doing it.

I can give two cents on Davao.

The good:

- Foreigner value is rocket high
- Not many prostitutes (you can still find them, if thats your thing)
- It's cheaper than Cebu and Manila
- Girls are incredibly easy, great for notch count

The bad:

- You have to make serious effort to meet other foreign friends here, there just aren't many around. Mostly old dudes.
- People staring at you all the freaking time gets really annoying after a few days
- Severe lack of night game spots
- I really cannot stress how little nightlife there is here. Everywhere shuts down really early and is only worth it on Saturdays.
- It's quite boring here if you stay long term. There's enough to keep you occupied for a long weekend.
- Girls can be a little shy sometimes
- Better looking girls can be hard to find. You have an unlimited supply of 6's, a lot of 7's, but 8+ are harder to find. I'm guessing the better looking girls go to the bigger cities. I remember there being many more 8+ in Cebu than Davao. I would be interested in hearing anyone else's thoughts on this one.

I agree with this for the most part. But I feel I must emphasize the different experiences people might have when coming here:

- Not many prostitutes (you can still find them, if thats your thing) N/A - neutral
- It's cheaper than Cebu and Manila only slightly
- Girls are incredibly easy, agreed great for notch count great for LTR!

The bad:

- You have to make serious effort to meet other foreign friends here, there just aren't many around. Mostly old dudes. agreed
- People staring at you all the freaking time gets really annoying after a few days agreed, and it's annoying, especially in the jeepneys
- Severe lack of night game spots a GOOD thing!
- I really cannot stress how little nightlife there is here. Everywhere shuts down really early and is only worth it on Saturdays. there is also a curfew
- It's quite boring here if you stay long term. There's enough to keep you occupied for a long weekend. perfect place to start a family/new life
- Girls can be a little shy sometimes 50/50
- Better looking girls can be hard to find. You have an unlimited supply of 6's, a lot of 7's, but 8+ are harder to find. disagree. Girls are among the best looking not just in the Phil's, but worldwide! I'm guessing the better looking girls go to the bigger cities. I remember there being many more 8+ in Cebu than Davao. I would be interested in hearing anyone else's thoughts on this one.
