I think the takeaway here is that even if you mix two good looking parents, there still is no guarantee. The odds were high to make a good looking kid, but they got shit luck.

Thus, if you want to increase your odds of having attractive offspring, have multiple children. Probably at least three with a good looking wife if you want to beat the odds.
