Anyone else noticed the trend about stereotyping all jocks as "assholes"

Now i'm sure that some of them are dicks but from my point of view these pasty nerds are losers and are just jealous of these guys and are just stereotyping these guys because of this i.e. just because they play sports there an asshole.

I've noticed this trend recently especially in the mangina media where anyone who takes an interest in sports and is popular with girls is suddenly stereotyped as an asshole. When these same nerds don't want to be stereotyped as losers just because they do nerd stuff etc.

All in all these nerds/maginas are thinking a lot like this.

This comment is actually very apt and deeper than a superficial first glance would suggest. The outpouring of hate towards men and especially nerdy socially maladjusted men is surprising. It's a personification of Roissy and Whiskey's articles on how much women "hate hate hate" beta males. It would be funny and satirical if it were not so sad. The message is no longer ewww get away from me. It's shifted to "listen to your master and drop dead at her command".

Also reminded me of Tim Wise's open letter to conservatives after the midterm elections, which was basically along the lines of, "Haha you think you won, but you'll all be dead soon" (but in a non-trolling very serious and moderately sadistic tone it was written).
