This thread has me thinking about a way that a guy can get out of being married without having to deal with the bullshit.

He can start acting really beta to make his wife not like him, then hire a player to seduce his his wife and fuck her while also hiring a private detective to capture footage of it.

Then when he gets divorced he might have more leverage in court.

He has work demands that would make travel to Asia impossible before the marriage. When I brought up his lack of experience with women I bet he has never been with anyone besides a white chick. His international travel is limited to western Europe. So getting him to travel to Asia and fuck Asian chicks would be very outside his comfort zone even if he could get away for work.

Is there something wrong with his fiancee, other than her being a 6? If she would make a good mother/life partner, then be happy for him. While not everybody has the same standards of happiness that those on this forum do, it is possible that she fits what he is looking for in a woman. Wish him the best and be happy for him as a friend. It might not be what you or I or anybody else on this forum would consider ideal, but so be it. You'll be better off for maintaining the friendship and letting go of the excess negativity.

One of my best friends who I always respected and carried himself like a boss. Decided to move halfway across the country to DC. With a 21 year old single divorced mother. He is 27 with a masters degree, does Ju-jitzu etc. I and my other buddies tried to give him that "real talk" but he wasn't listening

Fast Forward a year and half later and I barley recognize his voice he sounds so broken. He is lonely cause he doesn't know anyone out in DC, works 50+ hours a week. And he is taking care of the bills etc so she can go to school and take care of their son.

It's truly sad

I guess depends on ur relationship with him. If u jusy recently reconnected and are more online acquantances Id leave it alone. If you guys actually reconnected and friendship picked up where it left off and you feel close enough to say something say something. Not really sure what your goal is. Ate you just trying to open his eyes or do you want to breakup the marriage. Also keep in mind he may not be happy with ur info the ild kill the messenger thing

I'm glad no one said anything to me when I was getting married at the young age of 22, because I wouldn't have listened anyway. The way I look at it, he's maturing, even if that means doing something stupid like getting married (especially in his NYC high $ to a 6 situation). Like I tell everyone, getting married was the 2nd best thing I've ever done...and it was a necessary step to the first best thing I've ever done.

You could say: Man, congrats. Wow, crazy. I mean it´s really a big step. I would love to marry a girl but I am so awefull with relationship stuff. How do you handle it man? I mean I think I have not enough patience, maybe that´s the problem. What do you think? Is any hope for me left or am I too much of a selfish bastard?

I think with this way he might think at least a little bit about the bad side of marriage.

I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions. Depending on their personalities it might work out pretty well. It's also worth mentioning that marriage gets a really bad rap on this site. There are obviously huge drawbacks and those have to be accounted for, it isnt the "happily ever after" machine that it has been made out to be, but sometimes(sub 50%) it works and both parties are happy.

Maybe your friend wants kids sooner rather than later. Who knows. Either way if an old friend who you recently reconnected with out of the blue started criticizing your life choices what would you think?

Honestly it depends on the quality of the woman involved. If there isn't anything particularly wrong with her other than here average looks, I'd just let it go. If she is feminine, wife and mother material, and comparatively lacking in American bitchiness, he might know what he is doing. Marriage and fatherhood can be a beneficial thing for men....granted she isn't the modern Western women who'll leave him with 2/3 of his assets in 7-10 years.
