Black men have more sex on average? And probably have a lower rate of neurosis. I've never met a black dude that has Asperger's. Maybe it's just not in the genepool as much.

Obviously don't reside in DC metro area.Confused

RE: Elliot Rodger shoots up California campus because he can't get laid
This looks long, but shouldn't be too long to read. Some stray thoughts on how feminists see the issue.

Q: Why Did Elliot Rodger kill?

A: Because he hated women.

Q: That does not explain why he killed men.

A: Yes, it does. He killed the men who owned the women he wanted to own.

Q: Okay, let's play by your rules. Why did Rodger kill women?

A: He was a misogynist, he hated women.

Q: Why did he hate women?

A: He feared them, he wanted to own them. He blamed them for his own personal problems.

Q: Why did fear women?

A: He was terrified of not measuring up to what women really want, he feared treating them like humans.

Q: Okay, why was he afraid of not measuring up to what women want? Why does he not see women as humans?

A: The fear of women's desires as separate and distinct from men's is a deeply rooted buttress of misogyny. Seeing a woman as a human directly contradicts his misogyny.

Q: Where does all this come from? You have yet to establish any psychological basis for your arguments.

A: <sigh> A key building block of feminism is that women are sovereign in their own experiences. When women talk about male-based misogyny men need to spend more time listening instead of talking.

Q: You mean stop asking questions.

A: I mean listening! When women say that men are filled with hate, listen!

Q: You mean accept your conclusions based on your, necessarily, subjective perceptions. You have hijacked a discussion about the human condition and what causes certain men to behave in grossly violent fashion and inverted it into a discussion of feminism.

A: But feminism IS the most relevant issue here! They are fighting misogyny! They believe in men, that men can become more than misogynists!

Q: Okay, if you are going to cure an ill you must know its roots. Once more, what internal processes cause misogyny?

A: It's taught, taught by patriarchy, taught by sexist ads. It surrounds us, permeates us. It is an ancient, world-wide phenomenon that has relegated women to second class citizenship, rendered their bodies as property and subjected them to centuries of violence, degradation and brutal oppression.

Q: That sounds like a great plot for a fictional book by Margaret Atwood. Let's assume that all that is true, but the question remains that you have not answered and is necessarily is the key to solve the issue you have presented: What causes misogyny?

A: Why do men demand so much evidence when it is plainly clear to women that men hate them?

Q: Every women, the world over thinks this?

A: No, because patriarchy prevents women from realizing this.

Q: Are men aware of this phenomenon of misogyny?

A: Yes. Men know what they are doing. Privilege blinds men from considering the oppressed as humans and understanding their suffering at their hands. But men plainly know it is happening at their collective hands.

Q: So men are consciously walking around society, openly hating you, desiring to violate your body and kill you. What stops the vast majority of men from ever hurting women?

A: That is so chock-full of ignorance. Violence against women is a sliding scale - every man is guilty of sexual assault, but it is a scale - some only watch pornography or masturbate to sexualized images of girls, some escalate to assaulting women at frat parties and some murder women for just existing. So there.

Q: It seems I have indulged you a bit too much. Not only are you describing a vast, world-wide conspiracy to oppress and kill you, but you also assert that the entire male population are repressed rapists.

A: That is a deliberate misinterpretation. Rape culture doesn't mean that you will rape, only that you have the capacity to do so. Like I said, misogyny is the base for all this behavior. The desire to own, consume and violate women's bodies is based PURELY out of misogyny. Behaviors and thought patterns like entitlement, harassment and dismissal of women's voices are all tributaries from the deep reservoir of misogyny.

Q: So we agree, all men could be rapists.

A: Yes.

Q: To a member of discrete class X, calling the entire class capable of a violent, gross felony is prejudiced, no?

A: I don't follow.

Q: All blacks are capable of murder, no?

A: Racism aside, yes in the most purely technical sense.

Q: Like you just said, it is racist to assume all blacks are capable of murder.

A: Noting capability is a far cry from assuming violence on the part of black people. Racism towards blacks causes people to view blacks as potentially violent in everyday life.

Q: Why does that train of thought not apply to men?

A: Feminists don't assume men are all violent, just that they are trained, as a class, to weaponize their existence towards women. Black people suffer under the crushing weight of racism, so violence is an adaption to white oppression. Men weaponizing their own existence is not the same as whites oppressing blacks so badly they act out violently.

Q: This is clearly a dead end. Moving the conversation forward, an assumption you have yet to voice is that violence is a learned behavior?

A: Yes, violence is learned.

Q: So, there must have existed a world in which violence didn't exist.

A: I don't know that.

Q: Precisely. You don't know anything that you have been talking about. You can't identify what fuels your perceptions of misogyny. You then take an -- at best -- grossly imprecise psychological diagnosis and assume that it fuels any and all bad acts from men towards women, the world over.

A: Like I said, women are sovereign in their experiences. Why do men keep silencing us, denying our experiences and questioning and muting our opinions?

Q: We do this to other men, we are not singling women out specifically.

A: Doing X behavior to men doesn't mean that it is justified to do to women, much less that men are not doing simply because a person is a woman.

Q: So, you want men to not treat you differently than they would men but you reserve the right to challenge said gender-neutrality when you -- in the sovereignty of experience as a woman -- claim that men are doing X because you are a woman?

A: That's not what I said and that makes women look bad.

Q: What did you say?

A: What I said was that women exist separately from men. As such, we experience a whole world you do not. Our experiences, feelings and approaches to life will be different than yours and you need to respect that. As such, when we know we are being targeted as a woman and not a person, we should be able to reserve the right to challenge you on that.

Q: What a waste of brainpower. We said substantively the same thing: You want equality, but also the power (you can it a right) to cut off debate/discussion/X when you subjectively perceive a man or a group of men is treating you a woman and not a man.

A: This debate is tiresome. The standard of the world IS a man, but it should not be gendered, it should be a human, a person. A mind-blowing concept to a man, but we are humans, too. You need to treat us as such.

Q: You see what you are doing, right? It is incredibly intellectually dishonest, as is this whole discussion. You claim to discuss the mental state of men, while never referencing any clinical research or discussion on how the human brain works, much less philosophical pondering of the state of man. You take what is necessarily your OWN experience and your OWN conclusions flowing those experiences and pretend it is a pattern of social behavior the world over. You clearly disregard any opinion of any man or woman who does not fit your prefabricated worldview. This is further evidenced by your insistence that women are sovereign in their own experience, as if the world has been waiting for your all-encompassing, God-like ability to shift through the psychological sands of the world and discern its ultimate truth.

You have done nothing but spin around in the shallows of quasi-intellectualism, when I have given you far more latitude and space to advance your arguments than any other discipline. You call feminism an answer to the world's problems, but I call it what is: an ideology. A poorly thought-out ideology, one completely unconcerned with reality and the deeper truths of the world. One completely structured around subjective experiences that appeals to the most craven and stereotypically womanly behaviors: hysteria, self-absorption, extreme amounts of fear and immature hand-wringing.

When we were talking about misogyny, you never referenced his relationship with his mother, the all important Mother, and how most likely an insatiable mother has caused his existential torment with women. I can't remember the last time somebody with serious skeletons in their psychological closet and got over them by having people wave the bones in their face. You don't cure an alcoholic by openly mocking them with a of Jack Daniels and take their personal disquiet that led them to the bottle and ragefully throw that disquiet in their face. Further, you make no appeal to established diagnosis' of any mental disorder or illness --

A: Stop stigmatizing mental health! Any advocate for mental health understands that mental illness does not lead to violence! Being mentally ill leads to being a victim, not a perpetrator!

Q: So mentally healthy people go on murdering sprees?

A: <Al Gore sigh> Misogynists go on woman killing sprees.

Q: But he killed more men than women and he clearly evinced rage against men!

A: Aha - you admit hatred is what spurred his violence!

Q: Nice try, I used the word rage. Very, very different concept.

A: No, it's not. Misogyny is an expansive word, entertaining all manner of anger, hatred and rage towards women. And, as for the men he hated, it was a product of misogyny, as he hated they got to be with the women he wanted to own.

Q: So, was he mentally healthy?

A: I know nuance is tough, but it is a sliding scale.

Q: How mentally healthy was he, in your estimation?

A: I am not a mental health professional, but a strong advocate. Your question is prejudicial and based out of ableism.

Q: How so?

A: Is it really 2014 and people still are not all social justice advocates? Issues around mental health have long been steeped in ignorance and prejudice. Your line of questioning is a typical male behavior, seeking first and final principles so you can subject people you deem "unfit" to the demeaning and bigoted mental health industry.

Q: Bizarre response. I asked you to opine on the mental health of a man who killed almost ten people in one night.

A: You can't medicalize or pathologize what is a social ill, not a personal one.

Q: Reading the tea leaves for where the state of mental health in this country is going is not pleasant.

A: You got one big rant, give me one. The problem inherent in this whole discussion isn't even that it is fueled by male privilege and sexist silencing of women's voices, but that is necessarily invested in the maintenance of the status quo.

Change is difficult and can be scary for those so used to having the world revolve around them. White males should not be the measuring stick for personhood around the world. Women and minorities have longed to have a seat at the table, a chance to wield power alongside white men. We want nothing but cooperation, that's why we agitate for diversity! We just want equality, so every voice is relevant and respected.

But that challenges the status quo of only white male voices being heard and considered. We -- the majority of the world -- are tired of your ham-fisted control of the world. It must be nice to be able to proffer your own opinions without being challenged and then turn around and badger and pester those non-white males with needless questioning and commentary. Do you see why now we claim we have to be that much better than you at basically everything for you just to even acknowledge us?

Q: You are very adept at emotional appeals that people in the West have been well-trained to respond to. You claim that white men control all the power in society, as if white men are invested in white men -- as a class -- retaining power. First, wanting to retain your power is because the powerful want to retain their power for power's sake. Second, what makes you think the most powerful have a face? Most powerful people have public stooges of some sort. Those in power you don't know, they are blinded to you.

That notwithstanding, you sweep up race into your movement like a stereotypical feminist. Are male racial minorities aware of misogyny? Or are they simultaneously blinded to it but fully aware of it, like you previously argued? You then make the bizarre argument that we state opinions with no evidence. How has anything been accomplished in society? These white men have been going back and forth, arguing over every subject know to mankind. Why would you want a seat at the table of power, when you think all we do is twiddle our thumbs and hand down arbitrary decisions and commentary from on high?

Considering you have provided no evidence for any of your claims, I strongly suspect you want to be in the seat of power, so you can finally be rid of the annoying habit of other people to demand you explain your views. You want to make political decisions and pontificate about psychology without having to reference anything other than your experiences or emotions.

A: Mansplaining. Unsubscribed.

PUAs like to portray themselves to outsiders as doing nothing more than trying to provide dating advice to men, in an environment where most dating advice is aimed at women. But there’s one major difference. Dating advice of the sort you find in Cosmo magazine and other women’s media usually starts from the premise that the advice-seeker has flaws that need to be fixed in order to make her more attractive. But pick-up artistry argues that men who can’t get laid are fine the way they are, and it’s women—the entire lot of them—who are broken. And that by accepting that women are the ones to blame here, the student of PUA can finally start getting the sex he feels entitled to.

Quote:Since Mystery got famous from Neil Strauss’s book The Game, and a tie-in series on VH1, PUA has exploded online as various entrepreneurs start their own little empires, and various websites and forums trade increasingly misogynist tips, such as isolating the “target” from her friends or teaching men to keep pushing back “last-minute resistance,” techniques that make it so scary or difficult for a woman to decline sex that they often amount to rape.

Mindblown

Wow. I guess it's just a matter of time before all sites even remotely related to PUA get censored/shutdown/banned.

Anyone else think a crackdown is coming? The amount of irrational hate towards PUA is insane.

So in other words, women are such doe-eyed innocents, they're able to be completely bamboozled by a dork with a fuzzy hat and a short bald guy who looks like a bad clone of Seth Green.

If this is the case, fine. Just don't turn around and tell us women are qualified to run companies and the country. If they can be swindled sexually by Mystery, I somehow don't see them being able to take on Wall St., Putin, the Mideast, etc.

RE: Elliot Rodger shoots up California campus because he can't get laid
Good post, 2Wycked. Reminds me of what this fool had to say about it.

Quoting him,

Quote:But when a man filled to overflowing with hatred of women acts upon this hatred and launches a killing spree targeting women, many people find it hard to accept that his violence has anything to do with his misogyny. They’re quick to blame it on practically anything else they can think of – guns, video games, mental illness – though none of these things in themselves would explain why a killer would target women.

They introduce a universal standard, and then they apply it selectively.

Yes, mental illness is insufficient to explain a mass shooting like this, because it would beg the question why there aren't more mass shootings with all the mentally ill people we have in society.

But, by the same standard, misogyny is insufficient to explain a mass shooting like this. It wouldn't explain why more misogynists don't go on mass shootings. This is particularly hypocritical of him, since he believes society is full of misogyny. Yet clearly, to attribute this shooting to misogyny alone would invite the obvious question, which he is unable to answer: why are there not more mass shootings?

For you guys outside the US, how is your local media framing this issue?

In New Zealand it's mostly the guns/NRA angle and there has been very little talk of misogyny. Our media is very superficial and in 30 second soundbites never looks at anything too deeply however. Admittedly I don't pay a lot of attention to current affairs shows who tend to provide minimal objective content but rather seek to appeal to emotion and hysteria.

That and the obligatory "I have ties to NZ and I was 5 miles away from the shooting!" story.

Here in Australia, the misogyny/MRA angle has been heavily played up. On TV they had a wacko feminist debating another slightly more sane woman about the causes. No men in the discussion, no-one mentioning the fact that some victims were male, etc. It's the first time I've heard the term "MRA" mentioned in mainstream media here.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

RE: Elliot Rodger shoots up California campus because he can't get laid
It's interesting seeing how many feminists refuse to accept that Elliot Rodger had severe mental health problems. Instead, he was (presumably) a perfectly mentally safe individual who was driven to murder solely by a hatred of women planted in him by a "misogynistic society".

I think the reason they're going through these complicated mental gymnastics goes beyond mere scrambling to find ideological relevance in this tragedy. The real reason is that mental health issues are strictly off-limits to feminists. In the feminist Utopia, no one is judged for what they are, or what they do, only what they say and think. And even then, only if it is crimethink, and the offending party is male.

This leaves them with quite a problem: they can neither hate Elliot Rodger, who is clinically insane, or the dominant female figure(s) in his life (who are always the root cause of such pathological misogyny) without contravening a sacred part of their ideology. But it is natural to want to hate someone who murdered six people for no reason. Even more so when two of them are women (do you double count them to get eight murders, or are they the only ones that count? So just two? I can never remember). The solution becomes quickly obvious. He wasn't insane at all - no, Elliot Rodger was a perfectly healthy, stable young man. It's our society that's toxic. Especially those MRAs, who everyone knows are the one great evil stopping us from reaching true equality. Growing up in society that promotes such a low view of women ensured that by the time he reached adulthood, Elliot Rodger was guilty of the only unforgivable crime; misogyny. Oh, and murder, I guess, now that he's accountable again.

girlwriteswhat once said that white people accepted Martin Luther King because they were so afraid of Malcolm X.

Maybe a killer who has nothing to do with our views, and was a part of forums that stalked and attacked ROK writers could cause acceptance of moderate pro-male voices, out of fear of the alternative.

Are people really tryin to say that this guy didn't have mental problems?

I think was the perfect storm of mental problems + social problems.

Essentially the individual was crazy and his context was flawed.

I also think that he was just plain stupid.

I heard the father on the internet talking about his son, and he sounded like a politician but with more edge like Howard Dean. He did sound upset, but I was in a different room when it was on. Not sure if that has been posted here though.

That's why the PUA thing gets a lot of hate- I think most of them were white guys trying to be cooler (nothing wrong with a man trying to improve his lot in life), but rappers are tolerated or celebrated as being all bad ass.

If Elliot had been a black kid posting about how he couldn't get white girls or whatever, I'd bet $1000 that all the SWPL people commenting on the tragedy would not vilify him in the same way. They'd probably try to say that he was the victim of being discriminated against.

Instead of it being an issue of misogyny, it would probably be an issue of white people not accepting black people.

Interestingly, aside from the DC Sniper, there haven't been many black shootings like these kinds of Columbine angst things. It's most white or asian guys who seem to feel like they have no power in society.

I wonder why..

Breakdown of why VICE accommodates to rappers and destructive culture forces in the black community:

They are weak in the first place, so they'll succumb to practically all dominant personalities they come in contact with. Secondly, I feel like I can say this with certainty that hipster circles hope they can capitalize on the hedonistic tendencies of hip hop culture in this generation by being in proximity to it. These little chumps hold no interest in black culture and I shun them whenever the opportunity arises.

On to other things...

Now when you tell only certain demographics of men that they don't have say because of the group they belong to, you shut down avenues of outreach.

That applies to the normative cases rather than scenarios like this UCSB shooting.

I see Days of Broken Arrows already replied with an explanation to this phenomena. That's why I'll expand on this:

"If Elliot had been a black kid posting about how he couldn't get white girls or whatever, I'd bet $1000 that all the SWPL people commenting on the tragedy would not vilify him in the same way. They'd probably try to say that he was the victim of being discriminated against."

Playing into the race game narrative from either angle poses higher risks for men than feminists could have ever benefited from "intersectionality". It's playing by their rules and acknowledging false truths of their narrative. Tribalism is more apparent historically and men as a group have more propensity to overcome the obsolete social dynamics when multiculturalism is a reality we're living in.

Putting merit in their contrived taxonomies give their hierarchies merit instead of historical happenstance. Playing the race game today inadvertently supports the male oppression myth since they hijacked racism to a smaller facet of theory trees. The race card in todays youth does more to disempower it rather than vindicate it. A perspective that refuses to acknowledge personal capability is poisonous to cultivating a positive mindset to overcome obstacles.

Historical inadequacies acknowledged, men still can't afford to stumble into racism as the root of turmoil when it's the lefts strongest tool to divide us.

Look at Elliot Rogers and his odd, self hate/sweeping racism as an ironic example of falling into the race trap as an all defining box. One of his greater mistakes was allowing his life expectations to fit a narrative that wasn't logical to begin with, all those preconceived notions fed to him by sick people.

To hate people completely uninvolved in his depression was partly due to accepting answers given to him by people that don't really love themselves, or others, in the first place.

(05-26-2014 05:38 PM)speakeasy Wrote:  Another article where they just can't get the shit right. These people don't know what they're talking about, SMH:
http://prospect.org/article/how-pick-art...ged-killer

These kind of articles make me sick, so I think I'll take it apart point by point again.

Quote: Women—hot young women, really—owed him sex and, because they reneged on their obligations, Elliot Rodger would get his revenge by going on a killing spree. That was the thesis of a video titled “Elliot Rodger’s retribution,” featuring the angry rantings of the 22-year-old college student before he allegedly went on a murderous rampage through Isla Vista, California, which resulted in six murders, thirteen people injured, and Rodger himself dead.

“You denied me a happy life, and in turn, I will deny all of you life,” he threatened. “It’s only fair.”

This video and others that Rodger put on his YouTube channel were full of language that was immediately recognizable to many: He was speaking the lingo of the “pick-up artist” (PUA) community that feminists have been raising alarms about for many years now, arguing that it’s a breeding ground for misogynist resentment and may even be encouraging violence against women.

“Alpha,” PUA lingo for a dominant male, was in the video threatening the mass murder. Rodger identified as an “incel,” which means “involuntarily celibate,” a term that was developed on web-based bulletin boards devoted to PUA enthusiasts that weren’t finding much luck getting laid. His theories about what “women” are thinking and why they are denying him the sex he felt entitled to came straight out of the theories of mating and dating that underlie the entire concept of PUA. He followed many PUAs on YouTube and was a frequent poster at forums that purported to analyze PUA theory.

Pick-up artistry is a huge, if generally ignored industry, with self-appointed PUAs selling an endless stream of videos, books, and seminars purporting to teach “the game,” which is invariably packaged as a surefire way for men who learn it to get laid.

Most PUA philosophy is based in a half-baked pseudo-scientific theory of the genders derived from evolutionary psychology. The argument is that women are programmed to overlook “nice guys”, sometimes called “betas,” who are gentlemanly and kind and and instead are drawn to cocky assholes who mistreat them, usually nicknamed “alphas,” Often, women are accused of “friend zoning” the betas, exploiting them for companionship and gifts while getting sexual satisfaction from the alphas. (It’s taken as a given that “alphas” are bad men who can’t treat a woman right and “betas” are nice, though the seething misogyny of many self-identified betas gives lie to that notion.)

There’s no scientific evidence to support this theory, but since it allows adherents to believe themselves to be unimpeachable victims and to blame women for their loneliness, it remains wildly popular, so much so that men seeking non-misogynist dating advice cannot find it in a sea of PUA literature.

“I’m the perfect guy, and yet you throw yourselves at all these obnoxious men, instead of me, the supreme gentleman,” Rodger complained in the video. “I will punish all of you for it.”
Rodger was a clear adherent to this philosophy of women’s failure to be attracted to the correct men, as he imagined himself to be. “I’m the perfect guy, and yet you throw yourselves at all these obnoxious men, instead of me, the supreme gentleman,” Rodger complained in the video. “I will punish all of you for it.”

Having established that women are stupid and awful for supposedly preferring men that are bad for them, the PUAs then go on to argue that it’s OK to treat women like garbage. PUAs tell their followers that since women are attracted to assholes, then the best way to get laid is to trick women into thinking you’re an “alpha” by acting like an asshole. Even the most mainstream and arguably least offensive PUA, Erik von Markovik (a.k.a., “Mystery”), teaches that the best way to get “hot babes” into bed is to insult them and ignore them in hopes that the women will be feel insecure and sleep with you in order to try to earn your approval.

Since Mystery got famous from Neil Strauss’s book The Game, and a tie-in series on VH1, PUA has exploded online as various entrepreneurs start their own little empires, and various websites and forums trade increasingly misogynist tips, such as isolating the “target” from her friends or teaching men to keep pushing back “last-minute resistance,” techniques that make it so scary or difficult for a woman to decline sex that they often amount to rape.

Alright, whenever I give a number, I'm referring to the bolded portions.

1. Entitlement problem, not an issue with game at all. He believes that since he's rich, decent-looking, and a BMW owner, he's entitled to women. Game actually teaches you to get out of these mindsets. This is what misogyny actually is- hating women. Misogynists generally can't be bothered to learn game, because it involves having to deal with women. This is a complete guess, but I'd think that you're more likely to find misogynists among the MRAs and the MGTOWs than you are among guys like us (i.e. those who have learned game).

2. PUA Hate IS NOT an analytical site, nor is it a site that examines anything. PUA hate does one thing and one thing only, and that's bitch about how they're not getting laid while assuming that all game stuff is a scam. In psychology, they have what's called learned helplessness. They either bought crap material or weren't willing to put in the time to improve.

Also, I'd be amazed if there are guys in the Western World who haven't at least tangentially run into some "PUA" material on YouTube. Just because you're subscribed to a channel doesn't mean you pay it any heed. Hell, I'm subscribed to a channel where a guy discusses firearms and then demonstrates them. He's a brilliant guy, and I'm not subscribed to the channel because I own a gun; I'm subscribed to it because it's interesting.

3. Straw man. Game inherently assumes that YOU are the problem, not the woman. That's why inner game is taught. If you don't have the right mindsets, nothing is going to work.

4. Not even close. "Alpha males" (by the way, I hate the alpha/beta dichotomy) don't mistreat women. There's a huge difference between not making a woman the center of your life and mistreating a woman. The whole idea of the alpha male is that of a dominant male who values himself. He's more invested in himself than he is in what people think about him.

The "beta male" thing is a straw man. The "alpha male" can be gentlemanly and kind (look at Don Draper and James Bond, two of the biggest alphas in film/TV). Neither of them treat women poorly.

5. Again, Rodger shows that he has personality issues. These issues aren't caused by game. This guy is mentally ill. Game and "PUA" literature had nothing to do with that. By the way, this is the inherent issue with "Compliment and Cuddle" style game. "I'm so amazing, why don't you like me?"

Well, she doesn't like you because you're boring and predictable. She doesn't like you because you're afraid of losing her, so rather than play to win, you've played to not lose. In playing to not lose, both of you lose. This is not a win-lose scenario; you don't "conquer" her. You both win or you both lose.

6. Bullshit, and endemic of the problems that plagued game 10 years ago, not now. Performance based game is largely dead, and becoming an attractive man has taken its place. "Negging" is basically teasing. I have no fucking clue why Mystery couldn't call it that. You're not ignoring her; you're just not making her the center of your world.

Also, Mystery is retired/doing something else, at least to the best of my knowledge. The fact that these writers keep using Mystery Method as the be all, end all of game shows how little they actually know about game. It legitimately seems as though 99% of what they criticize is performance based game that they learned about by watching the VH1 series and reading The Game.

That book came out nearly 10 years ago. Game has changed in the last 10 years, and these changes have been for the better. Only Love Systems (and maybe Stylelife?) are still teaching MM based stuff. Everyone else has moved on.

7. Refers again to MM and the problems with it. Nobody calls her "a target" anymore, and isolation is often just her following you. You're not dragging her over somewhere. I once "isolated" a girl by walking 4 feet away and sitting on a table. She followed me over. I didn't force her to come with me. She did so of her own accord.

Last minute resistance is a function of "anti-slut defense." None of the techniques I know of force her into anything or make it impossible for her to say no at any point. Women WILL say "no" before they say yes. There's a difference between her saying "no, we're not going to have sex" and her screaming "NO!" as though she were being raped. Breaking through last minute resistance IS NOT rape.

It seems as though these people are so invested in their beliefs of how game is misogynistic and terrible that they won't look at facts. Oh well.

I saw that Huffington Post article.
some dipshit writing for the huffington post Wrote:Every day we hear of another military man — powerful, disciplined, bulging with Game — who sexually assaulted a woman in uniform. This month, investigations began at 55 colleges and universities over the way their officials have handled sexual assault. These are our nation’s thought leaders — privileged, educated, bursting with tweedy Game — who have rebranded rape as “non-consensual sex” so they won’t have to deal with the misogyny on display on their campuses.
"Bulging with Game"? What the fuck. That's my response.

I can't find the video. But I would not be surprised if both parents have something off about them.

RE: Elliot Rodger shoots up California campus because he can't get laid
I had a huge problem getting rid of Indian social programming. Shit, I still do. This guy actually was so fucked up that he couldn't even seep through the smaller layer of western social programming despite the fact that he visited and followed the PUA community.

That's why I know a lot of him losing his shit had to do with a 'chemical imbalance' or psychological issue that even daddy's pockets couldn't cover by therapy and treatment. Is the mental health community so fucking controlled by the machine too. What's our benefit for pumping dollars to them given this assanine situation?

I try to meet as many forum members as I can both to help them and seek help myself. My life on the forum Is likely more of an open book than in real life. There's no doubt if I came across this guy, given my background and progress I would have put myself and my family in danger IF I didn't vet him properly. To be honest, from this perspective, now I have more respect for the rep point and progression system on the forum.

This is the woman the killer blamed his misogyny on

The aspiring model whose childhood rejection of Elliot Rodger lit the fuse that turned him into a murderous madman barely remembers him, her dad told The Post on Monday.

Pretty blond Monette Moio is vilified as an “evil bitch” in the rambling, 141-page manifesto that Rodger wrote before killing six people and wounding another 13 in California on Friday.

. . .

“Maybe the girls she hung around with did poke fun at him, but they were kids. ‘My daughter was not a bully, she’s one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. She probably rejected his aggressive advances. If you want to call that bullying then fine.

RE: Elliot Rodger shoots up California campus because he can't get laid
I caught this in an (otherwise bullshit) online article:

"Some of [puahate.com's] final posters expressed admiration for what Rodger had done, calling him a "hero."

Doesn't surprise me. This goes back to what I said earlier on the dangers of embracing negativity and hatred, which that community did.

Anyone here catch those comments before the site went offline?
