Are thirsty guys and beta guys good or bad for us?
I'm caught up in two minds over this situation and would like to hear what you guys think about it.

Ever since I learned about Game, I've always seen beta guys and lame guys as a good thing because they help me stand out a lot more.

Being over here on Croatia at the moment, there's been an increase in thirst around me that I haven't normally seen in the UK, and I think it's been more of a prohibiting factor for my results rather than a help.

I'll give you a couple of examples.

First, macking on hot girls out here comes with some serious competition. It's easy to stand out against the competition, and while you may not put her on a pedestal, other guys are adding to her inflated sense of self worth by doing it.

I'm getting numbers off girls, getting their Facebook profiles too and I'm seeing 700 likes for one picture, 600 likes for another and so on. I've chatted to girls who are around the 7-8 scale, and have facebook profiles as if they're super models.

Now, had they not been so obsessed with getting likes and feeling like a local celebrity, maybe it would have been easier for me. Obviously there's other factors at play here such as: am I valuable enough?; is she just looking for orbiters?; is she wary of quick hookups and getting hurt? The last is a particularly worriesome feeling for girls out here.

Another example of thirsty guys fucking things up: I'm in a bar. Girls are checking me and bojangles out hardcore. But some other dudes are macking on them unsuccessfully, sticking their bitch shields up and losing interest in male attention fast.

It gets particularly annoying when they're taking seats next to girls waiting to be opened, rather than doing the opening. It ruins situations for us.

I'm seeing more and more situations ruined by beta guys than ever before and it's really making me think twice about whether they're a help or not to my results. I've been more involved in Game this month than the past 6-8 months, so my question is mainly regarding the Croatian culture. I'm sure it would be the same in London but I simply haven't been daygaming for so long to be able to comment - and I won't be able to for some time until I head back to the UK.

So, just wondering what you guys think. In general, overall, are they good or bad for us?

I think I need more value to make this not a problem, and that's something I'm working on. Would be particularly interested in Christian's view because I know he's involved in circles similar to what I'm involved in here.

Cheers.

AMOG them. There is no situation that is "ruined" by another guy, it shows your relative value compared to his, and she will choose you every time.

Now, the validation factor for women in the modern technological age is outrageous, but the way that I re-frame it is that I honestly don't have social media accounts, so I have no idea about this girls online "fame". She sees this shortly after meeting me, and notices that I treat her as I would any other girl in this world, looks are only something that attracts me in the beginning, I could care less about them after the first 5 seconds of meeting a girl. She sees that I don't pedestallize her, and that makes me different.

Ask anyone here, they'd agree whole-heartedly.

I don't want this to become into a debate about opinions on Facebook and social media, but it's something I harness. I've had models add me on Facebook and message me simply because of the connections I have. It'd be a silly thing to get rid of, especially since I'm dropping some big value on there.

Most of my leads at present are coming from daygaming and meeting girls in 2s in coffee shops with bojangles. There's just something in the way of taking further with them, despite their massive initial interest. I put it down to being forgotten once they return home to their worlds and have the thirsty guys messaging them, etc.

We'll step away from the social media, but the reason I mentioned it is because it seems to be the only place many men have the balls to act thirsty (how easy is it to "like" a picture).

I would personally say then, that betas are good for us, in the fact that it makes us stand out. There's no way she's forgetting a guy that made her feel something as opposed to just went on about how beautiful she is and such.

We were all at one time or another "beta"; these guys can learn too, and I'm not above helping them out (I have two guys that come to me for advice and have improved considerably since listening to the knowledge I have acquired.)

Pull one of them aside in the future and teach them, it solidifies your game, and it earns you friends.

Both. It depends on the situation.

Online dating, text messages, social media -- they're bad. Because they shower the girls with a ridiculous amount of attention. It gasses them up and we know what the results are.

In person -- they're good. Very few, and I do mean, very few men, cold approach women. Just by doing it and tossing your hat in the ring, you're already a step ahead of most men, and that's before adding game to the equation.

Dude - Croatia is a country where there are way more Alphas around. And yes - you've got more thirsty guys there too - must be more testosterone there. In Croatia and Serbia you need to up your Game, since many girls are being hit on by good-looking Alpha guys.

Those guys may be lacking formal Game knowledge and your exotic foreigner status - those are your plus points - exploit them. Sometimes with those girls you can escalate quickly even during Daygame - masculine aggressive is not so bad there.

Zelcorpion is right. These parts of the world are where men are still men and women still expect them that way.

The other day I picked up an estonian (similar outlook) for a 1st date; as soon as she got in the car, after kissing her hello and giving her a big hug, I just grabbed her hand and held it, with a bit of hand caressing, the whole journey. We never stopped touching for the rest of the night.

Would I ever do that with an Anglosphere girl? I doubt it.

These Eastern/Central/Northern european (former soviet) girls expect this stuff!

Go big or go home with these gals!

Not sure what you lads have been experiencing out here, but I've not seen any of that whatsoever. The guys are more masculine in appearance for sure, but I've had plenty of girls tell me that they're losers. Their behaviours make me cringe seeing them most of the time. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but in general the guys here aren't like what you describe.

Young Croatian guys are western in all but nationality. They are very feminised and have all the attributes your modern metrosexual in London does. I've had girls complaining about them being boys and wanting men. In fact it's the guys over 30 who are masculine as hell, the rest seem to have fallen under the sway of American tv and film since then.

To be fair Matt just wants it all, we've been collectively in our approaches been blown out once in 4 weeks..

The reason may be that I mingle with the 30+ crowd and they are masculine. The younger generation is Beta-fucked as in most of the world....

I agree with mister x.
My main chick I've been seeing has something like 800 Facebook friends. So when she posts some retarded status or "selfie" (hate that word) the likes and comments all blow up. Definitely gives her more self worth then she deserves.
In person though it could go both ways. This chick swindles guys to buy drinks for her and her "girlfriend" and turns around and gives it to me haha. She pulled this off 4 or 5 times last night actually, so thanks to betas I only had to pay cover for me and her and it was a $20 night.
But then when I go lone wolf or with my little brother(my wingman) they are definitely a hinderance/annoyance. Interrupting convos to embarass themselves, telling girls how "hot" they look etc. They definitely weigh in on the negative scale but there is a bit tipping it back to the positive side I suppose.

I like that there is a distinction between a hungry and thirsty guy.

The latter is needy which is a quality as appealing to a woman as a booger.

When you elevate an unproven prospect, she always then assumes she can do better than you.

RE: Are thirsty guys and beta guys good or bad for us?
What's happening thanks to the sexual revolution (that feminists promised would lead to more sex due to the lack of slut shaming) is that the ease of getting sex is getting harder, and that the quality of women is getting lower. This is easily provable when noticing that chivalry is dead because men don't have an incentive to be chivalrous any more (with the rise of alpha fucks beta bucks), and the rise of murdering virgins and that women have lost their homemaking skills and are becoming more fat. Women facing constant approaches, direct or indirect from thirsty guys (including on Instagram), causes women to inflate their self worth and higher their standards, so you get ugly girls truly believing that they deserve 9's and 10s.

Take Experience Project for example, a social networking site designed for making new friends which is not for sexual solicitation. Girls on the website get 20-600 messages a day from men asking for photos and sexual activity, on a website that is against the rules to solicit sexual activity. What this constant approaching does, is make it harder for you to get laid as there's more competition for females. Tinder is also to blame for this. The more sexual options women have, the more selective they are with their choices and the less relationships are formed. Now we have a situation where over half the US population is single and 75% of British youngsters are single. Feminism has killed the family unit and the institution of marriage, but that's another topic.

When you combine that with a culture where men have a higher sex drive than women, of which have to make an effort to get laid and some sexual harassment sprinkled on top with the constant flurry of beta and white knight behaviour that women receive, it causes women to believe that they are superior to men and they develop a "holier than thou" attitude that develops by the age of 14 which is what causes the flaking, rudeness, cockblocking and shit test behaviours. They can behave like that, because most men aren't holding them to accountability for it. Betas and white knights (the majority of male interactions) are allowing women to treat them like this, which only exasperates the problem.

Roosh wrote some articles about these themes.
http://www.rooshv.com/the-number-one-corrupter-of-women
http://www.rooshv.com/the-destructive-me...an-culture

Society will eventually collapse once too many men are deprived of sex. According to evolution, our goals is to 1. survive and 2. reproduce. If too many men are deprived of the chance of reproducing, society will collapse as there's a theory that everything men do is to increase their chances of getting laid, evolutionary biology.

That's women's hypergamy in action for you.

Quote:An analysis of figures for Britain shows that in 1949, 20 per cent of women married husbands with significantly higher levels of education than their own.
By the late 1990s, the proportion of women who were “marrying up” had almost doubled to 38 per cent. Similar patterns are seen across much of Europe, the US and Australia.
