Hey dudes,

I'm new to the game and I have a question regarding the program. Do random conversations struck up with women while walking around count? I'm not trying to be funny, but I was walking through Central Park the other day and I noticed that a woman had a Blue Pit Bull (the coat was nearly a steel-gray colour), so I struck up a small conversation with her about the dog. I did this without any intention of number closing or even really giving a fuck about her. I just love Pit bulls.

I also struck up another conversation with a girl on the train regarding her choice in heavy metal. She was wearing big headphones and blasting disturbed. This time I did look at her, thought she ugly, but I wanted to talk about that band and some of the other threads that came up.

Would these two count under the program, or must I go out and approach with intent?

3:I made another approach today. I was at the doctor's office and I noticed that a girl had the same first and last name as a famous Puerto Rican of yore. Struck up a conversation about safe topics: The walking dead, game of thrones and dogs. Nothing spectacular, but it felt natural and fun. Her body language was very guarded, but she gave me her attention as we spoke. I considered a number close and decided against me.

I also talked to two old ladies in the doctor's office, but I won't count those. Old people are so easy to talk to given that they're probably neglected by their families. Ha.

Good stuff, keep at it. When I'm out and about, I generally count any woman that I feasibly could/would bang as an approach. This includes cashiers that I have a conversation with, list girls at nightclubs, anyone for whom your interaction with could conceivably end up in sex. Obviously some girls will be more open and receptive than others depending on your situation and where you are, but I generally count just about every cute girl I come in contact with as an approach.

Yes, they count and the key is that you get used to just simple chats. Eventually, when this gets easy, you'll start to detect when girls are into you and you'll go for the number close. Keep it up

I would count anything where your putting yourself out of your comfort zone and the girl is attractive to you on some level. Cashiers are iffy... only if you are taking the initiative to engage in some kind of extra conversation beyond the typical stuff. Deep down, you'll know what counts and where you've chickened out. Obviously if you ask for her number it would count.

A few more approaches:

4. I went out to a bar on friday and this tall-ass amazon looking girl sat down next to me. I turn to her and immediately ask her how tall she is....and I get wrecked. She flips out and gets really mad because she gets asked this all the time. I swear she was like 6'5. Not my fault nature took her off the market for any guy who isn't 7 feet tall.

Anyway, That was my first really harsh rejection. I made sure to keep my stance strong and as she flipped shit, I just turn so that my shoulder was facing her and said, "I didn't mean it as an insult." I refused to apologise out of principle. Anyway, I was pleased with myself for that one.

5. Saturday: Doesn't count as an approach, but I almost ended up banging my Friend's girlfriend's fat friend. I"m SO glad I didn't fuck a fat chick that night. I did kiss her though. I find it more humorous than anything though. Avoid fatties while drunk. lol

6. Today: I was in the line for coffee at a shop and I asked a girl if she was in line. She said no, but she had a cool accent, so I engaged and we started chatting for a little bit. She works as an au pair in town and wants to head back to Brazil ASAP. seemed like a cool girl. I didn't really push it or anything.

Thoughts/reflections

I need to take advantage of the opportunities to approach me in my day to day life. My AA is very weak, but the inertia of so many sexless years has made me reticent about approaching. My job also makes it a bit hard to go out and approach, but i'll make it work. Going to try to shoot for roughly 1 approach a day to make it through the program at a decent pace.

I've told cashier girls "I like your earrings or whatever.." While that's out of the comfort zone, I still have yet to ask for one of their numbers. Maybe this week..

^^^funny thing is the compliment "was" pushing boundaries but now that I've done that and gotten comfortable doing it often, I think I can "progress" to a number close which is a new boundary to blast through. Game is all about progression

7. Another approach down. Cute nurse in dunkin donuts. I felt pretty odd complimenting her and going direct, but it was worth doing. She seemed a bit frightened by my approach, but it's all good. Lmao. She was really short, so I suspect any guy rolling up on her could be frightening haha.

Don't be afraid of the "white lie" either.. For example you're always trying to get a purse or earring as a gift for your sister's birthday which by coincidence happens to be a day later or what not. Don't have a sister? Create one. Day bang explains this concept further. So do a lot of Giovonny's posts.

Ha, yeah. I'm still wrapping my mind around the fact that most women don't hold themselves to the same moral standards that I do. Killing to beta is hard. I'll work on lying to women at some point just for the fun of it.

Saturday and Today

I met up with Clint and spider in the city at 2:30-3pm and we went out practically all day with a 3 gap between 9:30pm-12:30pm. I didn't approach as much as those two dudes, but I hit my goal of 10 approaches in a day. Roughly 1.2 approaches an hour. Fuck, I'm not good at math. However, it was cool seeing the city. It's funny that I live so close to NYC, but never hit it up.

Spider and Clint were pretty awesome. They approached just about every awesome set they could have approached. They have a fun, positive vibe together and make naturally great wings. I often felt a bit inadequate trying to roll out with those two, but I appreciated their patience and good vibes the entire time. As we all warmed up we hit up a few sets and had a good time during the day. Spider went back to his place to get ready and Clint and I crashed for a bit before recuperating and hitting up more spots late at night.

I added about 13 approaches to my count between yesterday and today. Not a bunch, but I'm pleased. Managed a make-out with a homely girl visiting from Ireland. Lmao.

After you get over the first few, you can rack up 100 conversations with strange girls easily. You ask easy questions and don't try to press for something romantic.

Is that what you want? The ability to chat with a stranger and then walk away?

Good point. That is a problem that I do have. I have to get used to the awkwardness that results when one pushes for something romantic. I'm naturally very neutral, so becoming polarising is something I should work on.

Clint and Spider had me go direct on quite a few girls and that seems like a good way to push for something more romantic.

Any advice?
