The same reason you are told to wear a suit to a job interview for the first time. During the day you want to put your best foot forward and leave a positive first impression.

At a nightclub, the entire vibe is sexual from the start. No one goes to a club or bar to meet the love of their lives. They're going to get laid or have their egos validated. The face people put on during the day is different than the one at night.

A better line for the day would be, "Hey hun, is everything alright? You're looking a little down."

I don't think this is directed at PUAs and I don't feel it's a racial thing per se. I think it's a class/immigrant issue that has been percolating for decades and is now coming to a boil. From the vantage point of DC (and with two decades of observation), here is what I see.

As more and more women graduate from colleges and enter the workforce, they're becoming a bigger presence on commuter trains. At the same time, scads of immigrants have been let into the country and are doing blue collar work. These men often don't have cars and are riding those same trains.

When these two cultures collide, problems happen. My guess is that women thought they'd be sitting with executive-type guys on the trains. But it turns out they're sitting next to the guy who washes the windows or puts in the flooring... or the restaurant worker who smells like fish or paint and they don't like it.

It's not just that these women feel they outclass the blue collar men (though that is some of it), but these guys have an approach that's extremely forward and macho. And since they're from a different culture, they don't always pick up on cues when women want them to leave. Hence, these women are uncomfortable in ways even the worst frat guys never made them feel. Because at least the rude, drunken frat boy shared a common cultural language, though he may have ignored it at the time.

I sometimes wonder if the super-effeminate manner in which white urban hipster guys carry themselves isn't a reaction against these roughneck guys. It's as if hipster men are saying "Choose me! I'm safe! No threat of machismo here!"

All that said, this is not a strictly racial thing. Yuppie worker bee women would be put off by coarse blue collar white guys from West Virginia too, because they also don't share cultural commonalities. But these guys have cars (or trucks), unlike the immigrant men, and don't usually take the train.

All of this can actually help the guys on this forum, no matter what race or ethnicity you are. If you're on these trains and come off as well put together and well-spoken, you offer these women a safe harbor from men they don't want to be dealing with.

I drew this conclusion after being in a DC supermarket one night when it was filled up with a bunch of really rough-looking characters. The usually snobby-looking women seemed awful friendly that evening. It occurred to me they were smiling and starting conversations in line to make sure they were talking to a savory character in case an unsavory one made an approach. (We should call this "good house in a bad neighborhood game" hahaha.)

Today's women, raised in politically correct petri dish schools, probably have some cognitive dissonance about how to react to men from foreign countries. They can't react too negatively because that would mean (gasp!!) they're prejudiced, a mortal sin on the order of killing innocent animals. Yet with some men, they have to confront their own...prejudice. If those signs are real, women probably called for them so as not to have to deal with this.

(Digression: Things were easier for women 80 years ago when my people, the Italians, were the blue collar immigrants who worked on the loading docks and hit on women on the NYC subway. According to my uncles, the feisty Irish gals simply yelled "Get away from me you greasy WOP!" with nary a worry about bigotry. Ah, the good old days.)

Finally, men do masturbate on trains. It's usually drunks and the mentally ill, but it does happen. My mother once mentioned she and her friends witnessed an episode of this when they were growing up in New York. The sad irony is that these kinds of men would be unable and/or unwilling to read any signs telling them not to do it.

I really wouldn't be surprised if in maybe 10 years or so from now approaching people in real life in developed Western countries would be deemed a crime. It would probably be classified as some sort of minor form of assault.

The powers that be will likely then only allow men to make initial contact with women via a state-approved app or website. If you think online dating is stacked against 95% of men now, imagine how much power women will have in the future.

I remember Roosh talked about this in his 2014 New Year's video. Whether those signs are real or not, I wouldn't doubt for a second that there are lobby groups pushing for laws that punish men for approaching in the day time.

As day game proliferates on youtube and the internet, you're going to get guys more curious to try out day approaches. Yes, some will crash and burn miserably, others will be spambots ruining high traffic areas, then you have a few who are smooth and close easily.

Now what I wonder about is this "bad game" phrase. If a "low value" guy approaches a girl and she rejects him... is that really "bad game"? What you're saying Samseau is extremely accurate on this point. The only reason that it's happening in the first place is because of feminism in my book. It is women bringing this upon themselves, and that's the reason that I'm laughing inside when they whine and complain! There is no sign that says respect our male passengers because women are a protected species, like the panda. The problem with signs like that is that they do instigate violence, just not the type they seem to be trying to protect against. I mean I don't usually see many signs that make me want to get the sign maker in a closed room so I can kick the crap out of him but this one does but who knows, maybe this is a "team effort", or just some dumb girl. I suspect this is some strong white knighting though.

There are so many things that are wrong with that sign that I was nursing the thought(for a minute or two) of taking some form of action against this nonsense. That's the last thing I am going to do however, that ship has been sinking fast for quite some time and I'm already on a lifeboat so to speak. No sense in crying over spilled milk.
