Are you friend with him? Have you met him before?
If not, play the friendly buddy/wingman card. Go have a drink with him, shoot the sit and go hunt together. This way you'd get a feel for what he really is while showing him you're a cool cat to chill with.

Other than that, I can on only echo the general consensus of being careful when dealing with connected and wealthy locals anywhere specially in the 3rd world, as you yourself already know based on your extensive travels.

Never met the guy but I've heard of his establishment.

He just contacted me through a screen shot of my number when the girl was telling him we are talking.

She said she sent it because he didn't believe we met or something. Obviously it was to fuck him up mentally.

I'm on the fence about how to play it. I could use my game to keep her and he'd be hurt and eventually her too when I leave or what have you.

Then again as we all know, that relationship is doomed anyway and he could be a good contact.

Maybe I'll meet the guy if we are both in town at the same time.

Thats a decent walk, maybe thirty minutes, from next to Ayala to Mango square. Certainly doable - I did it though I was pretty sweaty by the time I walked through Mango on the way to Robinsons Mall. I'd definitely recommend staying near Ayala as a meet-up point for online and for day game.

I'll be there in September. If both MMA Fisto and bookworm IKE like the place, you know the Filipinas got something special.

The only thing I really saw in Cebu outside of my hotel room in a few days was that the Marco Polo hotel is really opulent at about $60-80 per day, although the free shuttle to Ayala is a long ride.

Has a nice, spacious lounge with good music, and the various nice, embroidered uniforms of the flirtatious staff are really impressive. Only problem was a glue smell on some floors due to renovation, I was quickly moved when I complained. Also a cool blue neon lit ultralounge on roof.

Yeah on Mactan. It was ok. She seemed very disappointed in it. She is a corporations relations manager at a huge resort in Bali.

I wouldn't want to walk from Ayala to Mango. It's a hot 20 min walk. The taxi is $1.

The taxi line at Ayala can get really long. One trick is to skip the taxi line by grabbing a taxi by the starbucks entrance just after they drop off a passenger. The drivers can get in trouble for that so some will say no and yell at you, but this almost always worked for me. Aso, it seemed to blow girls minds that I would break a rule that like... hahaha

I think quite a lot of the resorts on Mactan are a bit run down. It helps to look around before paying.

Honestly I just pull out my phone and do my thing without any explanation at all. I try not to do it too often out of consideration though.

Just got into Oslob. Its a little town about 3 hours south of Cebu City on the coast.

The big attraction here is a large population of whale sharks you can go diving with.

I'm planning to do that tomorrow.

All these girls ask who I'm with and I tell them I'm alone. They just don't believe it.

From here I plan to go to Bohol and then back to Manila before taking off to Zamboanga.

Thats where I'm really pumped to hit.
