Aside from cheap pitchers, the only time I see anyone drinking Bud Light it is these these queer little aluminum Bud Light bottles in the hands of chicks. Bud Light was made for, and I'd wager, primarily marketed at women. Thus the vacuous commercial.

In fact I used to know a chick just like this in high school who would drink nothing but Bud Light and was already getting chubby from it back then.

WB all, especially Doolie/Dolly(if i ever meet a chick with that name im calling her Doolie), then Narrator. Other two look relatively ugly but still much much hotter than I was lead to believe Toronto chicks are. Perhaps they picked the hottest chicks for the ads

Wow then, either they edited the Narrator to be really dumb, or the person editing the video did a horrible job. Narrator said "Doolie, Jess, KP", while blonde w/o glasses, minority and glasses walked in, in that order. Its like she purposely doesnt want people to know which chick is which.

Good for the uglies, but I dont know why the hotties stand for it.

It's always struck me as odd that light beer is the default beer choice for men. Light beer should be for women. So the fact that a light beer commercial is targeting women, instead of men, is a positive development.

The commercial itself annoys the hell out of me, but the advertisement isn't meant for me, though. It's meant to appeal to a generation of self-absorbed, overconfident, and overall unpleasant women. It succeeds at doing that by showing them the world that they care about- texting, selfies, late night junk food, and white-girl slang. The forum dislikes the ad because we can't stand those behaviors in women.

And even if Bud Light made an ad that celebrating rolling solo at night in search of strange tang, I still wouldn't drink it.

Eh, just locker room talk from me. I look at commercials differently now(I don't watch tv so I don't see many of these commercials anyway) I no longer see them as contributing to the persistence of this low level behavior in society(they do) I see it more as a reflection of society. That commercial is the reality for a lot of women in the West. I know women that are exactly like the commercial, this isn't some fantasy commercial, that's how it is, it's tolerated and it's celebrated. The shit that most men tolerate from women is what has brought this reality bubbling up. If you go to clubs you have to tolerate at least some shit, I don't go to clubs. Waste of time. If some of you guys are killing it there I'm happy. I'm surprised there isn't an ROK article advising against clubs yet or maybe I overlooked it. Night clubs; where you pay through the nose for the priviledge to dumpster dive.

I don't think their target audience is women for that commercial. I believe it's for men, especially beta males. One member earlier stated that he was bombarded with the fucking commercial while he was watching hockey. How many women do you know are avid sports fans, and I mean fans enough to watch hockey on TV? Not too fucking many is my guess.

There's no way a company is going to spend millions of dollars targeting women who aren't watching.

Granted, there may be some chicks watching it with their boyfriends or husbands. But a "girls" night out showing the queen slut rejecting "players" and then approaching the guy who won't even make eye contact with her and making him put his number into her phone? That commercial is a beta males wet fucking dream.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs aren't exactly demanding Super Bowl prices for ad spots, but they are considered prime real estate since sports fans are one of the rare audiences who watch commercials because it's live. 2:00 am reruns of the Three Stooges get filler prices for ads, live sports don't.
