It is the saddest thing in the world. But some guys are so insecure about their manliness - that they will fuck fat chicks just so they can tell themselves "I'm a man - I fucked 10 girls this year!"

And it is this way of looking at sex which is totally alien to women.

It must be confusing for them - since they get attention and sex from good looking guys. But then the guys refuse to treat them well (ie be seen in public with them).

I think a lot of feminists really do think guys have a secret fetish for fat women - but are too ashamed to go public with it. What else are fat chicks supposed to think?

I can't blame them for thinking that - since the truth is so sad. Most guys just never get past the stage of treating sex like they are collecting baseball cards. And that truth is too weird and uncomfortable for even 'feminism 2.0' chicks to wrap their heads around.

Which is one of the reasons why most guys would rather spend hundreds of dollars and weeks of their time in wooing a few bangs out of a '6' - instead of spending a couple hundred bucks and an hour of their time buying a bang off a '9'.

The other thing I have noticed is this.

Female sexual desire is much more malleable than male desire.

The power of media and advertising can change what women find attractive. Since women find high status attractive - and that is something that media can give out and take away at will.

Which is why Chesney Hawkes can go from being a guy every young chick wants to fuck to a nobody overnight.

So - with that in mind. I feel that women earnestly feel that if 'fact acceptance' and plus sized models were pushed in the media and advertising - that men would start developing genuine sexual desires for fat chicks.

In the female mind - they feel they are close to achieving a heaven on earth. Where the majority of men are brainwashed into finding fat chicks hot and slim chicks ugly.

The problem for them is that they are thinking like women and imagining that men approach sex in the same way women do.

They are wrong.

No amount of brainwashing will work on men. They will never find fat women attractive.

Although the bullshit put out by the media does give beta males who have given up a little wiggle room to pretend that they find their fat wife attractive - and 'hey man - I'm different - a great personality is the sexiest thing to me'.

So - all fat acceptance does is give beta males a convenient lie they can pretend to believe before they give up trying to fuck attractive women.

This is the best that feminism can ever hope for.

Hence, the need for Viagra for all the men who were falsely taught their attraction was more malleable than it really is.

I remember once I had to drop something off at the desk of a fattie where I worked and she started talking to me. I don't know if it was her breath or body odor, but something blew me back about ten feet and I got out of there quick, holding my breath the whole time. This was like 15 years ago and I never forgot that memory.

Brainwashing doesn't work, of course. But natural selection works, oh boy it does.

For men in the lower beta to gamma range (which is most men), a squat, pigeon-toed fatty represents the most reliable chance at having a family and kids. Over the course of several generations, men who will bite the bullet and fuck the fupa will outbreed men who won't. I have studied evolution a lot. I find (like Daniel Dennett) it is a powerful source of novel philosophical ideas.

I have never thought about loving fatties becoming an evolved response in the male population.

I wonder if it will happen?

At the moment - you have small selection of the population with a genuine fetish for fatties. And they will never have any trouble reproducing.

You also have people like me with ridiculously high standards (hence heavy reliance on porn, strippers and hookers). As such - my genes will be taken out of the gene pool during the next cull. And the human gene pool will lose a connoisseur of female beauty of the very highest standards.

Now - the vast majority of beta males who settle for fatties - do so because they cannot find anybody hotter to reproduce with.

As such - there is no actual desire for fatties which is being past into the next generation. As such - I see no reason why each generation will have an increase in the small number of guys with a genuine fetish for fatties.

The only effect I see going forward. Is guys like me self-selecting out of reproduction - since the pleasures of porn (and their extreme distaste for fatties) means they would rather not bother. But guys like me have always existed. And today use strippers, hookers and the internet - where as in the past guys like me would have used cave paintings, the imagination and prostitutes. I am guessing rape was more prevalent in the millenia gone by as well - so that has to be chucked in there as well.

So - it is at the top level that evolution is most likely to work. You will have fewer people in future who can tolerate fatties in way, shape or form. Such as guys like myself. But - getting rid of guys like me - doesn't mean there will be any increase in the number of guys with fatty fetish in the next generation.

That is how I would analyse the situation. And to be honest - I don't think much has changed. Except that I can find images of the most beautiful women in the world with a couple of clicks. That is far more powerful than jerking it to some sticks in the shape of a woman - or the memory of a chick you saw walking through the camp ten years ago.

So - it will certainly have an effect.

Evolution is an endlessly fascinating subject. It is rich in philosophical ideas. And I should add that a lot of people think they know about evolution - but really don't. I have a simple test to see if people know what they are talking about.

Do you know what The Baldwin Effect is?

The Baldwin Effect is an ingenious and counter-intuitive product of evolution. And is an example of the interesting philosophical ideas that are buried away in this field. And it is just obscure enough - that it works as a useful shorthand to see if the guy you are talking to has actually studied evolution.

I took a 2 year break from philosophy to do nothing but study and think about evolution. It is such a fascinating field.

And I will tell you this. It wasn't the worse day of my life when I found out that Charles Darwin was a distant ancestor of mine! :-)

My theory here is as follows: to mate, you need to pay search, transaction and signaling costs, not only in terms of money but also in terms of time, effort and attention spent.

Examples of search costs would be money spent on dating site memberships or time spent running night game in clubs. Typical signaling costs would be money spent to purchase status symbols in order to impress women or time spent getting jacked up to impress women with your six-pack. In the general sense, sex is always p4p because you are always paying for it in some way. Even if it looks like you aren't paying because you are pulling via passive value, that passive value still had to be built up in order to be able to generate "dividends" and "interest".

Paying search, transaction and signaling costs that are too high diminishes a man's overall reproductive fitness in two ways - it indirectly signals low value (the reason why beta courtship excesses repulse), and it directly depletes a man's material and attentional resources which are a part of his overall attraction package. But paying some costs obviously serves improve reproductive fitness. Otherwise men wouldn't do it.

So costs spent vs. possible results gained plot onto a demand curve and hence there is an optimum, or an expenditure level at which a man's reproductive fitness becomes optimal.

In other words, a man will settle for a fatty when he is at this level - where he realizes both trying harder and not trying harder will get him worse results.

Anyway - I want to thank you for passing along such an interesting link. It is nice being able to see what the latest topic/viral video on these sort of feminist blogs is.

The way we react to the video and the writing is subjective. And in a sense I think we are both right.

On the surface - I hope women are scared away from being fat after seeing such a public meltdown over the issue. I think a lot of fat hamsters have never heard such real talk before.

So in that sense it could help the red-pill cause.

But equally - I think the 'Feminist 2.0' crowd - will pull out the message that they want to hear. Which is about the pain that is caused by societies unfair standards of beauty.

I think Louis CK - approaches his writing in quite an arty way. As such - I am not sure if he is definitely trying to make any one point - but is instead trying to explore the topic from different angles, before letting the audience decide.

@WD-40 - I used to be obsessed with evolution. Bu then I got burned out. I doubt I will study the area again. It is one of those subjects where you reach a certain wall and feel like there is little more to learn.

Didn't see what happened to the fat girl, but caught a later episode last night. Lot's of mundane arguing with his ex wife and dealing with his kids, pathetic dating life and general weirdness, I would say this show is fast approaching its last season. The only bright spot was a little side narrative by comedian Todd Barry, which was brilliant.
