RE: How to get laid on okcupid like a boss
Interesting you should mention instagram. On the site the other day I got an unsolicited message from a woman - doesn't happen to me that often, few times a month maybe, and the times it's from an attractive woman even less. This woman was a few years younger than me and definitely attractive....but...she has an Instagram link on her profile with the usual tons of selfies.
She seemed very into me for a little while, until she found out that I already had plans last weekend and wouldn't be free able to see her until later this month, even though I expressed definite interest in doing so. However, the interest on her part involved a LOT of questions about me and what I do for work, and so on. That's sort of a red flag.
I tried to keep things rolling with humor and interesting stories as I've been able to with a couple other girls, to keep them interested until I could meet, but it hasn't seemed to work with her. The fact that I didn't agree to zip out to meet her instantly seemed to really peeve her, and her replies to my (humorous, respectful) texts became increasingly terse and hostile until radio silence.
Provider hunter? Hmm.

NEVER EVER back track a Facebook profile you've found from image hack/google dorking. *without FIRST LOGGING OUT FIRST* EVER. Facebook, at the moment you view *supposed scammers facebook page* Facebook's advertising geniuses will immediately suggest you as a *potential friend* to the person.
I've gotten Android notifications ("DO YOU KNOW ..?") the moment she was hitting my FB.
I don't log out but I always have a second browser open with a fake name and use that browser to look up the girl.
You also need to realize that if your facebook account is associated with your mobile number, facebook will also match you up with her facebook account(assuming she has her mobile number tied to it(which most girls do anyway). Facebook has a sneaky way of pulling your contacts and matching them in their database.
Basically you really shouldn't give facebook any real info about yourself. Use a alias name, alias email and no mobile number(if they require one now then better get a google voice one)
Yeah. I didn't take the time but plenty of guys know how to setup a burner account. The problem is they in some way cross-pollinate with their irl FB and that can get hairy if you're not careful.
If you're setting up a burner account strictly for online it's a good idea to start out with no cross-id information. No same emails. No same linked emails etc. While right now Google is restricted from indexing public FB profile images, there's nothing stopping some snoop-ass bg service from doing that.
Trying to cull a legit-"like" burner account is tough work in my observation. I wouldn't waste much time on it, and I would tell girls straight out that I use that account to exchange dates with because I don't like to live out my personal life in front of my friends. If it's online you've already established the primary line of communication. Maybe there's some truth to # closing quick. I stay away from # closing and go straight for plans. If she wants to be with you #s come naturally anyways.
FB is a wildcard honestly. You should stay away from it as much as possible and use other avenues like getting off your ass and finding something real.
I'm not cool with girls coming and going all the time on my primary Facebook.
That's generally what I put on my profiles. Something like chatting online is fun and all but I want to meet you in real life, not sit here on the computer. (like the other dudes). Talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words.

I've done it before, it's really not a big deal; you don't even have to go to a doctor. You go to a site like STDTestExpress.com and select the panels you want and go get your blood drawn at a local lab like Quest Diagnostics - nobody else knows WTF you're there for except maybe the nurse drawing the blood. 48 hours later you get your results online and print 'em out.
I think many insurance carriers will cover at least one such screening test a year for "general health purposes" without getting antsy and pegging you as "high risk" or something.
If having a relatively recent clean result that puts her mind at ease and makes the lay easier only takes about 20 minutes of time and a copay of a few bucks, why not?

RE: How to get laid on okcupid like a boss
The latest on OKC...
Girls are becoming more and more unresponsive to initial opening messages.
My favorite opening message no longer works as well as it once did... a 50% response rate dwindled to less than 5%.
Another classic, "You look like trouble", gets me blocked 50% of the time, whereas it used to get me a response rate of 50%.
I recently went on a work trip to Buffalo NY (I know, I know...) and I went quasi-direct with my opening message, simply
"Hi, how's it going? I'm in Buffalo for a few days on business. Would be nice to get a drink, perfect chance for you to get out of the house. Let's chat to see if we can get along."
This got me a 30% response rate, most of which said "thanks but no thanks", but a few said "sure, I'm down for a drink". Met with 2 girls in 2 nights that I spent in Buffalo. One was a SIF (yeah, this is Buffalo... lots of "buffalos" there, so to speak), and the other was actually decent looking but refused to come back to my hotel.
I feel that opening line is more efficient and screens out the time-wasters and attention whores, and gets down to the girls who are actually willing to meet up.

RE: How to get laid on okcupid like a boss
The weird thing that's been happening to me lately is that I send my usual charming opening message, and I'll often get a reply back "Hey! You seem cool and...blah blah blah" and they seem very interested, and I'll follow up with some usual stuff "Oh, yeah well blah blah blah", not more than 30 minutes or an hour later, and I see that my second message has been read and...I never get a reply to the second message. I call it the "one text ghost" and from a logical point of view it makes little sense to me.
Like, why bother responding to the first message if you have no intention of keeping the interaction going? Do they get all the validation hit they need from the interaction after just one text? Who knows.

That's why I'm thinking there's something to making your intentions known right from the start. We're not here to give them validation, we're here to get them out to meet us for drinks and then take them home.
Saying "We should get coffee/drinks" (or some variation of it) in the opening message weeds out attention whores, validation seekers, and time wasters. I know this goes against conventional online game widsom, and we may get less responses than from a clever opening message, but it whittles the prospects down to those who are at least serious about meeting up.

I'm finally not sure that doing it in the initial message is ideal - IMO I think you're going to throw some women who would legit like to meet by being too forward.
I read somewhere that you can't ever ask for a date or number too early, but I disagree. I think there's probably an optimum that statistically works best for the largest number of women who legit want to meet. Some women who legit want to meet will probably get ticked if you ask for a number too early ("Hey man, I don't even really know anything about you!), and some will get ticked if you wait too long ("He's just looking for a pen pal!").
As someone pointed out above, many women finally just get validation from wasting your time. Obviously all of them want you to put some effort in, but it's a matter of degree. I guess the name of the game is to make it feel like she wasted enough of your time to satisfy her ego, while you feel like it wasn't really that much. I think if she falls silent after a single response from you, you probably wouldn't have gotten her out even of she replied to the "let's go on a date" opener. She just would have fallen silent at some other point or found some other way to string you.

I'm more than happy to delete girls on my phone if they give me even just a small bit of resistance on text instead being flirty, shit tests are one thing but resistance to meeting up is quite another. One girl asked to send me photos of myself on whatsapp, I usually ask them for more photos before they ask me. But anyway I sent her a couple of photos and said "your turn ". She asked for photos of me "right now", this was after have some conversations with her a couple of days back. She had about 5 photos of me by then, considering she's at most a 6 or maybe even a 5 I said fuck it and just deleted her.
Yep, I had one like that the other day. Very flirty up until the first date, the first date seemed to go really well with lots of laughing, interest and touching on her part right until she left, then ice cold after the date. Pitched the second date a few days later and "Well, looks like it's going to busy week coming up and..."
delete.
It's a shame - I really am not the kind of person who enjoys doing that.
Edit: And I've learned if they start talking about how they want me to check out their Instagram or Snapchat before we've even met - delete.
