Is this really happening?

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — After bombarding South Korea's female president with sexist invectives, North Korea's state news agency has fired off racist insults against President Barack Obama that U.S. officials condemn as "disgusting."

North Korea is notorious for inflammatory, warlike rhetoric against its rivals South Korea and the U.S. but had rarely used racial slurs in its verbal attacks. Pyongyang's tone has grown angrier in recent weeks as it threatens to conduct a fourth nuclear test.

In a lengthy May 2 dispatch released only in Korean, Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency published comments from a factory worker who said Obama has the "shape of a monkey" and made many other crude insults.

"It would be better for him to live with other monkeys at a wild animal park in Africa ... and licking bread crumbs thrown by onlookers," worker Kang Hyok at Chollima Steel Complex was quoted as saying.

North Korea just trolls. They are puppets of China so there is really no need to worry about conflict. North Korea is cannon fodder for the possible (...or eventual, depending on your views) conflict between China and the USA. China views it as inevitable but not soon, while America for all the talk dosn't want it, neither does South Korea. So NK jut sits trolling. It's not like other States were not inflammatory towards Obama as South Africa and Israel have both had size able groups whom have been ultra critical of Obama in inflammatory ways either in he press or by protests.

Not sure that USA would start a nuclear war over some rank personal jabs from the NK government.

NK is the troll capital of the world. More trolls per capita then any place else.

Granted we wouldn't go to war over childish insults, but NK has been pushing it for a while.

They are taught to despise as racially unclean anybody who is not North Korean.

Why would anyone take NK seriously?

"oh my lawd they're going to conduct tests!" Who cares about some country you can do nothing about except to troll them back.

We should fuck with them in ever more inventive ways. Put up massive billboards within sight of their military showing SK porn stars.

Everytime I hear some news story about NK doing this or that I think of a spoilt child throwing a tantrum and begging for attention.

Such sentiments about foreigners can be found by most South Koreans also.

My experience with them was that they are the most racially obsessed people in the world.

Both Koreas are best avoided. Other Asian countries are far more pleasant.

NK puffing their feathers on the global stage by trying to troll the USA?



The country is an egg. A menacing looking exterior or "shell", only to contain no yolk (or substance). Since they don't really participate in global connectivity, they have shafted their future. With the world becoming more globalized, NK is a proverbial man on their own island. After the Communist states pretty much folded, the DPRK is left with bill after everyone dined and dashed. Even with the establishment of a neo-juche movement (which promotes the ideas of supreme self-reliance) they are knee deep in defecation since they don't have a chair at the world's table.
