Use the booksmarts to make money...or at least much more than the average in America. You then do NOT have to have the most "street" social skills.

I was amazed that I could pick up a few woman and I TOLD them that:
a) I was a math major
b) I don't smoke weed
c) I grew up in the 'burbs

Hell, they would even make a joke about how I am not street (and I would agree). Now I don't know if that was their biological clock talking, that newly-built home of mine that they were in or that foreign car I was driving.

I didn't care. I still got those guts.

Fisto, I think you and I basically hold the same view on what a meaningful existence means.

Point is, what really matters are your own principles - they never change, not for any one.

Whether you call it alpha or something else strikes me as arbitrary. I even heard one guru call it "omega", an allusion to the ultimate evolution -> ie. the final letter of the greek alphabet (rather than something less than beta).

Which leads me to my quote, which isnt really "alpha" the way I understand it.. more about what it means being human.
