Hello WUPvet, good to hear you are back. I remember meeting your girlfriend (I believe it was her). Good looking girl.
Are you planning on relocating permanently to RUS in the future ?

Yes you did meet her the night I introduced you to two girls outside of Papas Place International Party @constitution45. You were the first from RVF to meet her, @_cicero has also met her and @Liguarian has seen the photo documentary of my love life and beatings. She was the "more Russian" of the two according to your assessment to me. This was a positive for both of us! You were actually there for the night of our first kiss and met her before it went down! Same girl all this time since last fall when you were there and she was a ripe 19 at the time. If I did relocate we would surely get married. I'm sure of it. Unfortunately I can't have the same standard of living there and would miss my son who lives in California growing up here. No plans to relocate but I do have 3 year multiple entry visa! Good to hear from you. For her the decision to come here is serious.... Her mom tells her, "If you go, you need to marry that man." So for her, coming to California is very serious. She will be on a fast track for a good job if she stays in Russia as her dad is a Very High ranking Government Official. I try to put less pressure on her, but her family makes it into a big big deal. Clash of cultures and not a bad thing if I win out. To her family is everything and that is the only way I will loose though. Family girls stay family girls, regardless of opportunity. Girls with less ties to family will come to your first world country.
....I caught the last Post in page 42 of the thread. Page back for background and story fellas....
Nice report of WUV. I am not impressed if an Ukrainian refugee is seeking shelter in the Russia Federation would be on the side of, well, the Russia federation.
The Ukrainian army regularly attacks cities in the Donbass region and in the border to Krim, but also paramilitary fascist groups like the 锌褉邪胁芯 Sektor (backed by the USA) always bullying / making problems to the ethnically Russians living in Ukraine as well as other minorities.
So, I understand that woman very good.

I was listening to a Roosh's podcast, and this made me curious about Russians or people from other Slavic country's personalities in general.
He said that, in the US, not many people appreciate small things, such as a pack of tea.
In Latin countries such as Colombia, people are passionate and vibrant.
In Slavic countries like Russia, people tend be more stoic and serious.
I often here my friends say that I'm often too serious, and these comparisons are interesting to me.
If Roosh's observation is accurate, then I'd like to not only travel around those regions but also spend a certain period of time.
(Need to learn their language? Of course!)
I've been in Australia for more than 3 years (I myself a foreigner here). While this is a very comfortable place, I'm planing to do a remote work, so that I can stay in a foreign country.
This question is not really related to traveling/meeting women, but I'd like to hear opinions about Slavic people' personality traits.

In my experience, Russians are more friendly and outgoing that Polish people despite sometimes seeming a bit "icy" when you first meet them. Similarly, I think it's more normal to smile and laugh in public in Poland than in Russia. I'd also say Russians are more romantic and crazy/impulsive than Poles. Overall, I don't think you can generalise much when it comes to Slavic peoples' personality traits although there's probably some overlap.
Wish there was more action on the thread. Not seeing a lot of sharing on Russia. Maybe I'm missing it and it is elsewhere. I see guys going but no reports. I may do a data sheet for girls coming to visit you from Russia. If there is any interest I will do it after another girl visits in a couple weeks. This will give a sample size of 3 for me. Not an expert at it but at least I have some generalizations. Also contemplating a return for 10 days this summer.

I would be very interested in that kind of datasheet. I hooked up with a Russian girl from Rostov (which is close to Moscow) on my recent trip to Bali. We will meet again in early May in Budapest. She already bought her flight ticket and did not ask me to pay for it. However I will pay for the apartment which is not a big deal for me.
What I would be mostly interested when the girls visited you. Did you end up paying for dinner, drinks, parties etc. or were the girls willing to pay at least a fraction?
Did you ever got ask to buy them other stuff like shoes or other kind of gifts?

I'm in Saint Pete at the moment. I might do a more detailed write up when I leave but here's some quick thoughts about the place:
-The talent is a bit disperse. In most cities in Poland you can go to the old town or to a mall and you'll see young girls everywhere. Here the average age seems to be older and there's also a lot of immigrants from Central Asia (mostly men) as well as Russian guys from the provinces who move here for work. You can walk around and see some cute girls plus the occasional stunner but it feels like it's mostly middle-aged people.
-There's a popular hipster scene. Saint Petersburg has been traditionally a city of artists and basically the cultural capital of the country. As such you sometimes see girls with a slight SJW look. It's light years away from being as bad as England for example, but it's still there. On the plus side, there's practically no fat girls at all. Overall, coming from Poland, I didn't notice a big difference in the looks department. The talent is just a bit better than in Krakow.
-Girls can be very flaky. It doesn't matter whether I met a girl through tinder, during the day or at a bar/club. Some of them will just stop texting or cancel plans in the last minute. The bottom-line is that pulling here is not easy. Speaking of Tinder, the app works great here and it's easy to get many dates from it. Some cute girls even text first but in my experience this doesn't always translate into a date. These 写械胁褍褕泻懈 have been unpredictable so far.
-Theexotic factor is very strong and Russians are super friendly. This has been a pleasant surprise and there's almost no Westerners except for a few Americans or Brits.
-The city is beautiful but it's missing an old town with a pedestrian main square like you get elsewhere in Central/Eastern Europe. Also, the place is huge and there's cars everywhere. In terms of beauty, it reminds me a bit of Budapest but it doesn't quite match it IMO. Price-wise it's somewhat cheap but you do pay a bit more than in Poland for nightlife and eating out.
*About me: Average looks, Spanish, 20s, speak Russian.
Saint Petersburg wasn't always full of hipsters... it went through a period of social conservatism until about 2013. The hipster trend (tattoos, large holes in ears, half-shaven heads, etc.) has developed since then.
Oh yeah, the fucking the artsy hipster scene in Piter. Especially famous with very young (<25). Overlaps with fashion scene, and western party culture. Less annoying than the western counterpart, less pretentious, less feminist. All in all it is an annoying cultural marxist phenomenon, but only mildly annoying as long it is tamed by prevalent conservative values and doesn't grow. On an individual level the people are well tolerable.

I have found that these are the usual reasons for flaking:
- Girls flake everywhere, have always been flaking and will always flake
- Competition. While there are lot of great girls, there is also a lot of competition of masculine men. If a girl suddenly ghosts you, it just means she has found someone else. It's that simple.
- Busy. Some girls I know work 10h everyday and it's hard to get a hold of them. Being stubborn without being butthurt is the way to go. I suspect they subconsciously do this to filter out men who aren't serious or sure of what they want.

Hitting a weak spot here. I have some unfinished texts on my drive about my adventures. I found it really hard to write about it for multiple reasons. I will look into it, because it would be a pity to not share it.

I'll cover this when I do a write up in a couple weeks. The short answer is yes on paying for things, but not gifts. A Russian girl told me once... "A man should be willing to give everything to his woman."
After dating for a year in Russia (especially in the sub 23 YO Realm) I'm pretty much used to paying for everything. I wouldn't do that with USA girls.
Good to see some guys sharing or making commitments to share. Come on, I'm dying here wishing to live vicariously through you... the man on the ground in Rawsha.
You are correct about St Petersburg and the hipster scene. It is quite a change.
Personally, I don't care if a girl is a 9.5, if she has shrapnel or graffiti that I can see while she's decently dressed out in public, it is a deal breaker. I won't even approach.
I like the intelligent looking girls in glasses, but so many of Russian girls have become an odd blend of feminism and infantilism. They want their "rights" but yes, the girls all EXPECT men to pay. Now, don't get me wrong, I can afford to do that and will cheerfully do so when it suits my mood. But if a girl has the demand and the expectation, I'm not going to entertain her silliness.

Well, they really expect the guy to pay when the guy directly invites her to do something (restaurant, cinema etc), but I cannot say Russian girls are feministic, or may be I just dont get what is it

Did you find that being Spanish probably gave you an advantage over being for another european country? I have read repeatedly here that apparently the southern europeans seems to have an edge over western europeans (in western and central european countries) and I'm wondering how that plays in Russia since they have that fame of being "racist". I remember reading about some nordic guy complaining how hard he found the russian girls compared to his country.

Spaniards are by far the most desired amongst Russian girls. If a survey was to be conducted, I'd bet a lot of money on them scoring the highest average and being nominated #1 more frequently than any other nationality.
After saying that, there are a lot of girls who have fetishes for English, Italian, French and American men/culture/language/products/etc., and to a lesser degree German, Japanese, Chinese and big black cocks*, but Spaniards win by a wide margin.
* not a swipe at any black bros on here, by the way. But every black-guy groupie I've known in Russia has eventually admitted that they were curious about that aspect...

They've always been like that, but it wasn't immediately apparent because Russia's economic situation made survival a higher priority for most women. The economics have since changed for a lot of girls in Moscow and St. Petersburg, hence the slow but sure change in attitudes.
Put another way, if every country's women were placed in the same economic situation (i.e. similar amount of money from the government/parents/work), I don't think many of us would rank Russian women so highly. They'd probably not be as insolent as British, American and Scandinavian women, but I doubt they'd be above average. Russian culture isn't strong enough to keep them in their place, as Italian and Japanese cultures do, for example.
I've been to Moscow, St Petersburg, and other cities in Russia many times. I have many Russian friends and businesses acquaintances. I just arrived in Helsinki for business this week and am very sad to have learned about the train attack.
