I wanted to drop a thanks to the 40 or so guys who made it. The venue was small so we definitely made it a cock fest. I remember two guys in suits walking in and one of them yelling, "Jesus there's so many guys!"

Couple notes:

-The guys in attendance were diverse, from 20 to mid 50's, representing different races and backgrounds. It had a Fight Club feel in that many guys work in the upper echelons of their fields in government/academia but can't talk about their manosphere/red pill involvement.

-Pretty wide consensus that night game is dying or outright dead in DC. The nail in the coffin was agreed to be smartphones and beta orbiters, which offer a shield to meeting women. Day game was universally praised.

-In spite of the local difficulties, guys are working hard. No one told me "I give up." The men in attendance value a normal sex life and are doing what they can to achieve that. Even if game is seeing decreased effectiveness at night, it's still necessary to get laid from girls you meet in other venues.

-I sensed disillusionment that things are getting worse, we haven't hit bottom, and there's nothing we can do about it except leave for greener pastures. A lot of newer guys are just trying to make sense of what's going on and are glad they found the manosphere to help them understand.

-DC really seems to be the worst city on the east coast for girls, but economically it's the best. It seems like NYC is the only city that gets any consistent amount of praise when it comes to women. It may be worth it for guys moving there before trying a foreign country.

-Lots of pretty girls at or near DC universities, where the ratio is strong. This is something I haven't explored.

Enjoyed the meetup. As Roosh said that place was just packed. I got there 5 minutes early and could barely get to the bar - this on a Wednesday night in DC!

At one point I noticed Roosh was holding court literally surrounded by 10+ forum members sort of 'celebrity style' ))

Had a lot of interesting convos with guys of various ages and backgrounds which was pretty invigorating. Good times.

I had a good time there. Got to talk to Roosh and Akula and met some other blog readers. Most of the crowd I would say were blog readers or knew him from his books. Roosh wasn't joking when he said it was a wide variety of people, I would say pretty much every age and demographic was represented.

Tried getting stationed in NYC but got Alexandria, VA instead. Guess I just gotta make do.

This is especially impressive considering how awful the weather was yesterday (strong downpours throughout DC/MD).

MdW, Alexandria is as bad or worse than DC IMO. DC is more of a sausagefest but good luck finding attractive single women in Alex. Its seems to be made up of an older settled down crowd.

Arlington is your best bet and a short metro away. Still a sausagefest but good looking girls sometimes. Its been a while but Whitlows or Atown come to mind.

Im in Miama Beach now though, and I can walk into a random sports bar and the girls and ratios will be better. In Arlington tho, I'd used to hate how Id be 6' or an inch or two taller in boots, and Id feel average at best. Here in Miami 6' is noticably taller.

I knew Alexandria was nothing special. I am looking for a place in Ballston (near Arlington), which I heard a lot of great things about. At least in the U.S, I'd say NYC and San Diego are the way to go for women if you can't get out of the country.

At one point there was a big circle around Roosh as he went on an impassioned speech about the glories of the international player lifestyle. He kept saying "Do as I do- get out of here!"

I asked Roosh what his advice for someone about to take the plunge for the first time would be and he said to just do it; "you'll never know what you're made of unless you just go for it."

Apparently someone expressed concerns about their career, because while talking to someone else I'm pretty sure I overheard Roosh say "fuck your job!" to someone

8/10, would attend again.

Damn man, wish I would have known a meet up was in place. I have wanted to meet up with some guys on the forum that are around the DC area. If anybody wants to go out and chill for a little bit, let me know. Would like to meet a couple members and maybe get a critique of what I do.
