The reason you don't see mixed martial artists doing "fancy moves" like Jackie Chan is because those fancy moves don't work anywhere outside a choreographed movie. If they did, they'd be using them in the cage. Most these guys have trained in traditional martial arts their whole lives so they know best what works in a real life situation.

But Alas, here is some Matrix-like finishing move that actually did work and it was just luck IMO.

The way I write is the way my friends and I speak. It's not supposed to be proper English. Anyone who grew up near where I have and has traveled like I have speaks in a similar manner.

Slang is very interesting. Every counter-culture uses their own version. Squares and regular people aren't supposed to get it.

Ha. We come from different worlds I guess. Where I come from, privacy, and being low-profile are revered. I know our modern "me, me, me" culture doesn't feel the same way. Call me old-school.

I guess we are just in two completely different worlds.

Some of the stuff you say I take with a grain of salt- dining with corporate Ceo's, hanging with international models, etc. It's just extremely rare for someone to be doing this, which is why I would need proof to believe it.

But I can understand that you value your privacy. We have different viewpoints on this and that's fine. You have a successful website so there really is no need for you to change it.

I agree with you, it may be rare.

However, it is all perspective. I have friends I grew up with that are young CEO's. I have friends I went to school with that are from Casino families in Las Vegas. This stuff is normal to me.

And compared to them, I am not anywhere near as "successful" as they are (although when it comes to lifestyle, not many have me beat).

I first started swooping models as a young pup when I first went to South Beach. However, I have friends that lived in NYC and Miami Beach that were swooping models non-stop and were heavy in that scene.

Compared to them, I did minimal damage (although I have outlasted all of them).

So, again, I can apperciate what you are saying, but it is all perspective.

Why don't you try for yourself some of the things I write about?

I have yet to meet someone who has followed what I write about to a "T" and been disapointed.

Being skeptical is a good thing. However I do not see or even consider it relevant here - after all, you are not investing money into him, are you? So it basically goes down to whether you accept his advice or not, and for that the only thing that matters is the advice itself.

Good point.

It always makes me laugh when people get so emotional about what I write (and zoom isn't even bad, I get multiple death threats. I am sure Roosh gets them as well). All I am doing is giving free information.

Believe me, I wish someone else would write The G Manifesto so I wouldn't have to.

Then I could just kick back, read it and enjoy and laugh.

Roosh, you have read enough of what I write about to know that dressing sharper than everyone else is not the only thing I talk about.

Smoking, Surfing, Boxing, Being Successful, Being Positive, Making Money, working on yourself, learning languages, educating yourself, being well traveled, having a great personality, giving to the less fortunate, being ambitious, having heart, not settling, taking care of your family, telling jokes, speaking in a unique manner, and learning new skills (ie dancing) are what I write about.

The Custom Suit is just a part (although a huge part).

Honestly, ask yourself, have you tried it?

I have said it before and I will say it again, no one, and I mean no one has ever followed what I write about to a "T" and been anything less than amazed.

Nope I haven't tried it. I go to the type of venues where it would be seen as trying too hard, like I'm trying to overcompensate.

G has a different style for sure. At first I didn't really identify with it, but over time, I have seen many things he has written are pretty solid and if you look through his blog he has some good advice on lots of different issues. I will admit, as I am sure G will too, that he does cater to the more flashy game aspects, but that is all good. We all need different perspectives from time to time. Some guys are going to be more the couch surfing low budget kinds of dudes and others might be the young up and comers and most guys fall somewhere in between. Take what you need from each POV and leave the rest that do not apply to you.

About MMA - I have been watching training and generally involved in wrestling, boxing and MMA for a long time now, waaay before it was cool and trendy and I can fully agree that the tough guy culture of MMA is retarded. The media pushing the edgy, skulls, blood and "fighting solves everything" culture are missing the true point of martial arts. Then again I see this as part of a backlask of the feminization of Western culture that has been pushed since the 60's...peace, love, tranquility, betaness now reversed and you have a few uber macho assholes as a result.

* Side note - From my experiences the more tat'd up, skulled out, mohawk rocking the MMA fan is, quite frequently the weaker he is in general. These guys most likely have never been in a fight and If they have they probably suck anyways. It's a show. The toughest guys are quite frequently normal looking guys who are pretty cool..confidence doesn't need to be flashy and douchebaggy. Fisto you can back me up here.

I have mixed feelings on MMA.

On the one had, to me it's more skillful than boxing. UFC is certainly more entertaining for me to watch than any other professional sport due to my martial arts background. So Mixx, because he's not familiar with the actions and outcomes, I'm sure finds it boring watching two dudes hugging and flailing around.

On the other, the "edginess" that Rocco talks about is tiring. Also tiring is UFC fans saying UFC PROVES wrestling/jujitsu is the best COMBATIVE combo. I respect both arts but the UFC is set up in such a way as to FAVOR grapplers. Shortly after its inception it switched to softer rings, making it harder for strikers to generate power, and gentler for grapplers to do their takedowns. Strikers also can't use elbows during shoot-ins and other techniques a more striking oriented fighter would use to repel a grappler. Such is the nature of the SPORT.

As for the G manifesto, gansta game isn't my style. I abhor the lifestyle. He does however give some good advice, like suiting up and other things. Other advice, like smoking, yes I understand it's a social help but the costs seem high to me. G isn't a tool on the threads normally either. If your into that rap lifestyle, you should probably read G.

The G Manifesto seems to be pretty cool to me.

Im 27, african american, grew up in the "hood" per se, won best dressed in high school and have always gotten compliments on my fashion and have always gotten the "what are those....where you get that from". I was always a trend-setter and was always part of the "in-crowd". I can relate to G Manifestos persona.

Some people may take a lot of what he says and try to make it seem fantastical because to be honest, most guys are not playa. The majority of the population are lame and square. There are very few guys that are able to turn a chicks head based purely off swag.

I think a lot of the PUA world is made up of guys that used to be geeks that found their manhood somewhere along the way. I also think that many of them will always be geeks at heart and reading or being around someone like the likes of a G Manifesto reminds them of this.

The G manifesto is cool to me. However, I think that a lot of the PUA advice would work gangbusters in the U.S but in more conservative countries like Canada and the U.K, it's not so much as a sure thing.

What kind of numbers do you think I would work against to get the type of results that you mans speak of?

heres my opinion...

TheGManifesto is a blog that successfully captures the persona and attitude of being a "G". Its a peak inside the mind of a modern day "man of leisure".

A "G" can be alot of different things, a criminal, a ladysman, a tough guy, a businessman, an athlete, etc, etc. Basically, a "G" is a man that women want to be with, and other men want to be like. Everybody wants to call themselves a "G" because alot of girls think its sexy and cool to be a "G". Hasn't it always been cool to go against mainstream society and carve your own path with the soul of a rebel?

TheGManifesto represents the core of all of these types of "Gs". Its a non-conformist attitude, refusing to play along with the bullshit of mainstream society, living life on your own terms, having the balls to live the life that you really want. Saying fuck you to "The Man". Doing it your way without apologizing or making excuses.

Before the western man started getting feminised, I think this is how men wanted to be. America was built on this type of "rugged individualism" (teddy roosevelt)

I think alot of guys on this Forum share this type of mentality.

Deep down most men and women respect the courage, individuality, daring, and cunning of successful "Gs". We all want to live a life of total freedom and say fuck the rat race. Most of us are slaves to our employer with very little free time to ourselves and it often seems like we don't even have much control over our own lives. Working 40-60 hours a week doing mind numbing bullshit work only to give 1/3 or more of our paychecks to the government.

A "G" refuses to live like this.

Look at what he writes about. Good food, beautiful women, nice clothes wine, music, sport, enjoying life, not being a corporate slave. Isn't that what we all want?

To fully understand his blog you have to have some understanding of this type of mentality, it helps if you have been exposed to, grew up around or were raised by "Gs".

You also need to understand the different cultures that we have here in the US. East Coast, Northern California, Southern California, The South, and The Midwest. And not just the mainstream culture but also the street culture, music, and attitude of all these places.

If you don't understand TheGManifesto its probably because:

1. You are not from the USA and you don't understand all the slang and geographical metaphors and wordplay.

2. You have never been exposed to any counter-culture philosophy and the attitude that he writes with is so far out of your paradigm/worldview that you simply can not understand it, or you refuse to believe that it is real.

Have you guys seen the new Gatorade commercials?

Where they show highlights of world class athletes performing under pressure. They talk about the drive, dedication, poise, confidence,and grace of these great athletes.....and at the end of the commercial they say...

"Thats G"

Great athletes and great playboys have many things in common.

Look at what Roosh has done in his life, Left the corporate rat race and blazed his own trail doing something that he enjoys. Something that brings freedom, independent wealth, and women.

I think thats why TheGManifesto respects Roosh so much.

Because Roosh is a G.

Don't take the G blog as a work of Non-Fiction. TheGMan has always said that he takes some artistic freedoms in his writings. Keep your sense of humor while reading.

I'm not gonna name names but i bet there are some guys on this forum that make up alot more bullshit then what you see on TheGManifesto.

Killer, have you ever been in a cage? They are not that soft dude more or less like a boxing ring maybe with slight more spring to it. Also even in amatuer, atleast in my state, you can elbow in the way in and out, on the floor, standing up etc. You have to watch knees to a downed opponants head etc but you can elbow.

Moma - If you are just boxing to learn to use your fists and get into shape, then just suit up and go learn. Its a sick workout at the least. If you are wanting to be a fighter, you will get broken bones and par for the course is a broken nose, I have a small nose so you can't tell much but mine's been mashed up quite a few times usually becoming more flat with time. If you have a long boney nose (middle easter guys, some Italian and some Latin guys) then your nose can en up real crooked and crazy looking.

Remember if it is pure boxing, you will always use headgear in everything aside from a pro bout. Now MMA is different. PM me if you want and I can give you some good tips on pure boxing or other fight sports, my man Fisto is also a good source of knowledge on this.
