Its still April. We'll see more betatude coming out soon, especially in summer albums. I'm a radio DJ and I only play instrumentals on my show if the song's new, simply because you don't see any alpha lyrics in songs nowadays (unless its a rap). Don't want my listeners to get betafied.

What many people fail to realize is that 99.9999% of pop music is tailored to women. There are professional writters that write the lyrics to these songs (and in most cases the musical parts of the song as well) They are targeted at women, just like the Romance novels are.

Hell, TIESTO doesn't even write his own stuff anymore, he has tons of GhostProducers making stock tracks and he just puts his name on it (i.e. David Guetta).


There are tons of great music out there, the raidio isn't the place to find it.

I just happened to hear an old Iron Maiden song the other day, and was amazed at how rich, detailed, and complex the lyrics were. It sounded like 19th century poetry.

Anyways, I heard the original non mixed song on the radio, I had no idea it was John Legend.

While thats a very beta song here is the converse and top qualifying song for most empowering girl power song of 2014.

That's surprising as he usually does. Regardless of his recent feminist proclamations, his debut album where Kanye did most of the production is one of my favourite R&B albums ever.

Edit - John Legend's real name is John Stephens, so he did write those lyrics!
