I am a 19 year old german who just graduated what is the american equivalent of high school. I spend most of my days at home sleeping until 1 pm and not doing shit unless i go out with friends or have to work my waiter job on weekends. I am going to the military in july and decided to kill the time traveling but i do not have that much money. I was planning on leaving after my mallorca vacation which is in 3 weeks ( ).

My cousins girlfriend suggested that I walk the Camino de Santiago and that I would not have to spend too much money if I were couchsurfing.

I just wanted to know if anyone could share some experiences with couchsurfing or even better experiences about their Camino de Santiago trip.

You should easily be able to get some transport to wherever..if you cant get a initial plane ride.

Make your profile now..
find CSers in your city or go to nearby place where they meet up.

itll be harder to find host without at least a decent profile and some sort of reference.

next..send request to as many people as possible.
There use to be a time when 2-3 request would get you a host.

now you might have to send a dozen or more request...but its better to have 2 host and cancel on one..than not have a host at all.
