Ideally, I like to bring girls to my hood so I can take them to my spots I have on lock down and eventually my pad. However I have a date this weekend with a chick who lives decently far, so we're meeting halfway at an upscale lounge. This is a common element of living in LA.

My question is regarding what anyone here has done in the past to go for more than just a nice makeout at the end.

I could easily see the date starting with a drink, bounce to another spot, another drink and going in for a kiss at some point. I could still invite her back to my place for a drink, it's just kinda far.

Eitherway, if it goes well I'll setup a second date cooking fior her at my place.

Thoughts?

Basically this is a test of your game.

1. No time and place like the present. Depending on the age, alcohol, and adventure - nothing like a little public sex to get a relationship started off on the right foot.

2. Get a hotel app, conveniently get "drunk", the vibe of safety first...let's check out my room @ the Snooty Fox.

3. Be on your A Game the entire time, including the 45 minute drive back to your spot. "it's real close, just 15 minutes..."

It's only a big deal because it breaks out of the easy pattern of
- meet
- drink
- bounce
- drink
- back to your spot
- close

The bigger picture is how hot does a chick have to be in order for you to continue to travel in her direction? I think of all the chicks i've had relationships (long term and short term) with,few have been more than 5 miles away, usually less than 2.

I too agree that the closer the chick is, the easier it is to have any type of relationship. Since my tried-and-true first date formula is pretty easy, I'm trying new things out, such as meeting halfway. Experience will improve my understanding of it, as well as tips from those who have done it before. In LA, it's a good card to have up your sleeve.

The third option seems more up my alley, but I'll keep the other tips in mind.

Meeting halfway isn't so bad. If all things are going well you can always relocate to a place halfway between you and the meeting place so it's only like a 10 minute drive.

"This place sucks, I know this awesome joint just 10 mins up the road lets take my car"

Then you're only 10 minutes from your place if you want to segway to drinks back at your pad or whatever. Meeting somewhere mutually convenient/inconvenient is just a bit of a test to make sure she's into you and you will go a little out of your way etc. Once you start building comfort she should be fine. Did this exact same thing a couple weeks ago and the girl turned intro a regular bang. I also got her back to my place the first date.

I like that, slowly moving her more toward your spot.

What about if you both are driving? Just have her leave her car?

In a city where people get around by foot, cabs or buses, it would be easier, but I'm sure we'll both be driving.

what's decently far to you (everyone is different in this regard)?... 30mins, 60mins (I don't drive pass 60 unless the pussy is promised)?

if it's 30 - 60mins, just meet at a spot close to her (google the bars in her area). do your usual gaming. take her back to her spot around the corner and bang.

Or just do what WIA suggested....

Update: So went on the date in the Valley last Friday, girl doesn't drink much so we had one cocktail, then it rained, bounced to another place, had a drink and then we called it a night as she had work the next day. Used the momentum to go to another spot and game some girls.

Then today, Monday, I invited her over to make pizza, we later sat down to watch some TV. Pushed through a bunch of LMR but got the notch. Feelin good
