I take it that some of you guys who avoid having girlfriends just pick up random girls all the time or constantly have "plates"?

In cardguys's case I believe he did P4P.

That's a bit different from someone like me who doesn't have a girlfriend or have sex.

Also, how old are you? It seems odd for someone to willingly take themselves out of the game.

I recently got out of a live in LTR so I've been meeting new girls lately. I have three who have been coming over around once a week. It's great not living with a girl anymore. I can do whatever I want. The feeling you get when you turn down a girl because you're tired and want to go to bed at 9 pm to read a book is awesome. I don't have to put up with any bullshit, drama, or bitching.

I'd enjoy a serious relationship with the right girl at some point in the future, but right now I'm loving my current situation.

Nope. It's not like it's entirely by choice. It's a lot harder for some of us to find a girlfriend. I'm 41.

Before my fiancee, I've never had a serious girlfriend - as in someone that I'd been dating for 3+ months and formally introduced to my parents and close friends. However, I've had plenty of dates and girls who'd been around for a short time up to around the 3 months mark. I never lived with them though. Nobody ever seemed to think that it was weird, while I was still single. My male friends envied my lifestyle, especially my freedom. The girls I know were intrigued, and later got very jealous when they met my fiancee. Older relatives and family friends would keep telling me to stop playing around and get married. I think it's because to them I come off as a man who can get a girlfriend easily enough but chooses not to.

I have a few male friends though who come off as fairly clueless about women and have never had a girlfriend because they can't get one, and people do treat them like they're weird.
