Affluent societies tend to mover further and further away from the natural order.

Women are fertile and ready to be impregnated much earlier than the law makes allowable. Older men have more social status, resources and sexual experience and are in a better position to pass on genes with an optimally fertile girl and ensure the survival of offspring.

Not to mention, these laws and taboos against sexual play at a young age basically rob us of innocent sexual rehearsal. With the result that people are awkward and freaked out about sex and the human body until and unless they come out of it (if they're lucky).

Everything normal and natural that's been going on for millions of years is being sacrificed on the alter of bankrupt ideologies and enforced by a fucked up legal system.

Interesting. I had this epiphany when I went to Mexico and was walking down town with my aunt to run an errand.

Pretty much a young girl she knew said hi to her along the street and I "jokingly" told her to hook me up. She smiled and was pleasent, she looked around 18 or 19 and very feminine. My aunt then told me she'll introduce me to her next time and also added how she was 15. I just told her nevermind but then she quickly told me back how theres nothing wrong with that? I was 19 at the time. That is when I realized all this idoctrination about ages and other bullshit in the US is just simply that, bullshit.

Although I still believe for the relative age that we were she would still be a little too young for me but I bet she was more of a woman that any american girl ive met.

I then explained to my aunt how that would be criminal in the US and people give a shit about their ages and she was in awe and shock to hear that. Just goes to show how this nation has succesfully indoctrinated the masses to believe in certain schemas.

Only seems to be a phenomena with urban girls. When I was home in rural America last week, my Tinder matches were consistently 18-20 (I'm 26) compared to 22-24 in London or Hamburg. Tinder is actually a pretty good resource when experimenting with dating trends across different locations.

Girls who work (common in cities) are more likely to seek out someone at the same career/education level. Traditional girls tend to seek someone above them.

Yes, this pretty much is one of the reasons of why I grew up to be a beta and did not have any success with girls. I remember a time in high when I was 17 and this really cute 15 year old girl wanted to go out with me. I rejected her, since I thought she was "too young". I also remember my first year in university, we were organizing some conference for high schoolers and I remarked that some of the girls were "hot". I got chastized for that remark and everyone was saying that the girls were "too young" and I shouldn't even be looking at them (even though most of them were only about 1 year younger than me). I regret that. Unfortunately it's still stuck in the back of my head somewhere and often prevents me from acting.

Nowadays one of the "excuses" by guys that sets me off the most is "she is too young". I get so mad when people say that. I have even heard in the context of 30 year old guys saying that 25 year old girls are too young. This "ageism" is also starting to creep into Europe unfortunately, as I live in Europe now and these remarks were given by guys here.

To put all this in context, 200 years ago your average 13 year old would be a MILF already.

Is it me or does younger girls only get hotter as you get older? These days, I find very few women above 26 attractive. Late twenties women straight up looks old to me in a lot of instances. I've had a few cases in the past of guessing a woman's age 5-10 years above what she really was. I find it hard to estimate how old a woman is once she is 27+ or so. 27, 35, 40, it seems like the same or rather there is no real reason to be able to discern her age, because she falls in the 'would bang and not call again' category. On the other hand, I can usually pinpoint to max 1 year off with girls 16-24.

Then again, youth is wasted on the young, I fell for some of that age bs in the past too, when I could have banged smoking 16-17 year olds all the way until I was 21 or so. Had plenty of opportunity, but really bad case of the beta and age bs, means I didn't get to. That's partly why when young guys talk about how they can't get girls their own age (because they're dating older guys), I tell them that they're crazy to not go for girls that are younger than they are, even in high school. I think one big reason the idea that its creepy to fuck younger women is now an accepted belief in US society is due to harsh punishment men face for statuatory rape(in many states) if a girl is under 18 even if she is only 17 when you have sex with her.

As a guy growing up in America watching crime shows you are presented with these laws and punishments being used the storyline of those TV shows and the occassional national or local news story of a guy doing hard time for fucking a girl "who is only" a junior or senior in highschool. This effect instills fear in guys that certain women are off limits. That is easy to comprehend in your rational brain that you cant mess with certain chicks because its against the law but your lizard brain (ie your dick) knows that 17 year old is the most prime, sexy thing that you want more than anything to put your dick in. Obviously these laws are directly against nature and they instil a conditioning in men that young women even older than 18 are just not appropriate for older men. And so even if you avoid legal issues by messing with women strickly 18 and up you still face social shaming for engaging in dating younger women.

This is very funny . Remind me of this conversation I had with my mom about how my sister is scared to walk from school due to older men hitting on her . Another of my mates is 30 and has an 18 year old gf! He's a bit of a geek but is a funny and 'nice' guy. Again, we all gave him props and made fun of him a little bit, but only joking about.

I can't imagine what kind of British mates you must have if they would look down on you for getting a young bird. I'm not trying to knock them, I just literally can't understand it.

Edit - Thinking back, my friends and I might have been slightly more inclined (not sure why ) to take that view when we were 21 or whatever, but definitely not now we're older. I think the only thing that would cause it would be jealousy in a few years when they're all married and I'm still in Eastern Europe/Russia getting young chicks haha.

^^^ This. College girls NEVER looked as good to me when I was in college as they do now. When I was that age, it just never occurred to me that at some point I would stop feeling attracted to women in my age category. When I was 9 I was attracted to 9 year old girls. When I was 15 I was attracted to 15 year old girls. When I was 25 I found plenty of women attractive that were my age. But somewhere around 35 I was like, damn...what happened?? Now when I see those fresh faced 22 year olds with bikini bodies, no cellulite, no wrinkles, I just find it difficult to feel attracted to a 35+ woman. Sure, some women survive the wall and take care of themselves into their 40s, but they are outliers. Many end up fat by this age.

It's funny one of my good friends is the opposite of me. He's 37 too. He will not look at any any chic younger than 25. He finds nothing alluring about them. He thinks 45yo cougars are the shit. Whatever floats his boat I guess.

One other thing, I think their apparent age difference is a huge factor. You have to admit, Mary Kate Olson(26) and Oliver Sarkozy(42) looked like an odd couple. She looks young as hell for her age and he looks older than 42. I could see why people would give that the side eye.



Yet Pharrell is 40, stylish and looks great for his age. I'm sure the girls in the background here are mid 20s. They do not look strange next to him.

I believe there have been cases where a 17 year-old has consensual sex with a 15 year-old schoolmate, and the guy gets arrested for statutory rape. Because he's technically at the age of consent, and she isn't, he's charged with a serious crime. So, stupidly, it stands to reason that they would discourage an upperclassman from going on a "date" with a freshman. Some of these proms are chaperoned too, with adults there to make sure the kids don't press their bodies together while dancing. Fuckin' ridiculous.

Jealousy of the majority of the population.

Men who can't get the hottest women and women who aren't the hottest women hate on it because of jealousy. That encompasses almost all of society, so regarding old man young woman, most of members of society are a losers. On the savanna, if the beta lions and non-breeding lionesses could group-think, they'd all say it was creepy too.

I think it's more dangerous to fuck older girls because, all things being equal, if she's a miser woman and is sleeping around a lot, there's a greater chance of getting stds.

Also, older woman have more of a bone to pick with men (no pun intended), and probably want to infect you as retribution for feeling slighted by the world on account of her diminishing power.

They were only half-joking both times. I don't understand it either, but I reckon it's a 'crabs in a bucket' type thing. Also, no worries, I don't speak to them anymore.

Like in school (i.e 17 or 18) they'd say "You only do that 'cos you can't get girls your own age" despite the fact they weren't getting laid. Come 17 I'd banged two girls and had gotten blow/handjobs off two others. I didn't really fit in my friend group in that respect, but they really weren't dorky at all. Just male hamster/jealousy perhaps?

Ja, mostly agree here. This is also why I don't trust the "studies" that purport to show that girls, and boys, are reaching puberty earlier now than in past decades/centuries. Supposedly due to some combination of improved diet, worse diet, chemicals in the water supply and all sorts of invented reasons. Personally I just don't think that it is true. I don't think girls mature at an earlier age now than in times past. And until I see a very well researched peer reviewed paper in an actual top medical journal, like the Lancet or New England Journal of Medicine, I just won't believe it. Anything in a Sociological journal just won't do (not objective enough) and obviously anything written by anyone who has ever been withing 10 feet of a womyns studies department would be beyond the pale.

IMO the whole "girls reach puberty earlier now" meme's purpose is to serve as a psychological coping mechanism for parents and other parental figures who are simply uncomfortable with their child's emerging sexuality, and it has little to do with the ages involved. For them to say girls are reaching puberty earlier now is just them justifying their feelings. Their thinking goes something like this:
"I feel uncomfortable and anxious about my daughters emerging sexuality. But this is a natural process so why do I feel uncomfortable? Oh, I know, in the past more natural world, she would only be going through this stage when she was much older and I would be completely fine with it then. It's the evil capitalists polluting the environment and disrupting the natural order causing me to feel what I do." In real life he/she would not be any more OK with it when the daughter was a bit older, but the nonsense about earlier puberty is a mental "out" for those feeling cognitive dissonance.

Having said all this about parents, I'm probably being a bit too harsh. It is not exclusively parents involved in this illusion, but people with other agenda's as well. In fact in practice, provided a girls is of legal age, her parents will probably not be the main roadblock to a man wanting to date a younger woman. If you're 30 and she's 20 don't assume it's the parents who will stand in your way. From a purely logical and statistical point of view a 30 year old man is a better deal for their daughter than a 20 year old man. The 30 year old would be less likely to cause a serious car accident, and would have a whole other range of subtle behavioral differences that translate to greater safety and stability for their daughter. Ja, I know people don't think statistically, but they aren't completely blind to it's effects either.
