Always struggle with the question, if i should invite her to my place for a glass of wine after i have met her once or if i should start with a near by bar. what do you think?

i met a girl on wednesday at a wine tasting and we talked a lot and i feel she is attracted to me. she even said we can have drinks another day. so, after meeting her once, i will text her today to meet me. i could say, come over to my place or i say, lets meet in a bar...

Depends on your and her comfort levels, and how much risk you want to take by asking her to come to your place. Better option is bar, and this thread by Tuth /thread-8681.html has all you need to know.

If you do meet up at a nearby bar make sure that you at least invite her back to your place as if you don't at least make the offer to go back to yours for a drink or any other excuse you will kick yourself as you need to strike when the iron's hot so to speak.

Always have the date be near your place so you can casually invite her back. Also starting the date at your place solves a lot of these problems as the date has to end at your place anyways.
