You are not required to get an ACR card. But if you want to get a bank account, drivers license, etc... then you need and ACR card.

(Disclaimer - this is to my knowledge and you should do your own research)

I went ahead and got the ACR card but have never actually used it for anything yet.

What do you guys think is the best way to filter out prostitutes from websites like dateinasia?

When I straight up ask a girl if she takes money for sex i don't always get a straight answer. She might say "oh we won't do that" or "just give me travel money". Am I right in thinking that any answer that is not an emphatic "no i am not that kind of girl" means she is a prostitute?

I think it is a red flag when a girl says she wants to come over "right now", which is a real shame because in america that would mean that she is DTF.

I find it very hard to screen for prostitutes over the internet.
Bikini photos on her profile does not seem to be an indicator - if the girl looks good then she knows that she benefits by showing you that.
Lingerie photos on her profile seem to indicate 100% that she is a prostitute but it seems very rare.
Having a kid seems to increase the chances she is a prostitute but I'm not sure by how much.

I've been in Manila a few times, and Boracay as well.

From my observations and experiences, I'd say that most of the girls you meet online and at places like Greenbelt are p4p at least some of the time.

When I read about guys "gaming" girls here in the Philippines I kind of laugh to myself. It's too easy here.

If you're a foreigner and you're white, you're going to pick up. That's not to say that every woman will want you, in fact most won't even look at you.

There is a bit of a stigma attached to foreigners and the girls they are with. Especially if you are only here for a short stay and you are trying to get laid all the time.

What kind of girl do you really expect to find? Some will ask for money straight up. Some may give it up for free if they like you, but charge other guys they see.

You'll never really know for sure.

It is possible to meet a good girl in the Philippines, but it's pretty unlikely to happen online or in a bar.

Boracay was probably 95% p4p.

Religion is a big deal here, though it doesn't seem to stop any premarital sex or casual hookups / prostitution. I guess that's what confession is for.
My girl is a catholic, goes to church regularly. Tries to get me to come along now and then, but I always refuse as I am more or less an atheist.

We have an agreement now. She doesn't try to talk me into it and I don't try to talk her out of it.

I found myself asking the same question. Each time in my experience religion was a complete non issue. It is like the girls didn't even realize that the catholic church is against premarital sex. It seems like every girl has multiple single mothers in her family and they don't look down on them (although they are pitied). Many of the girls seem to really want a baby. Even if they are in the middle of school and they would need to drop out to raise a child I have heard them say that now is a perfect time for a baby. By that they meant "don't put on a condom, i want you to give me a baby right now".

On a similar note, the catholic church is obviously very anti gay, but many of the girls like having gay friends, brothers, cousins.

How about food delivery in Davao, greenwitch has really good pizzas and their prices are decent(like 400php for 15inch ham/cheese pizza with thick thrust) but you have to always call them and tell them phone number and everything else 10 times, guys delivering pizzas seem borderline retarded(same guy came over 2 days in a row without change after telling them that I am paying with 1k note). The only other food that they deliver is some friend chicken.

Yellow cab is seriously overpriced and their pizzas are worse then greenwitch imo.

Any other legit restaurant that delivers good western food ? Like stakes and other "normal" food ?

Yes, Greenbelt at night (i.e Havana) is mostly P4P. But as for this online thing, I think there are plenty of normal/good girls there and even more so on Tinder. You have to be more careful weeding out the ladyboys.

If you are a young guy, I stand by my view that the whole P4P thing is never going to be an issue, unless your the type of guy that intends to pick up on Burgos Street/Ermita, actively seeking it out, or if you're staying for only a couple of days and inviting girls off the bat to your apartment. It's common sense, this will inevitably increase the chance of being asked for money.

A simple first meet up of ice-cream in a mall is a good way to get a feeling for things. And if there's no connection, she can still be a useful contact. That's just it, be prepared to devote a little bit more time and effort than the next guy (especially if you're staying for a while) and you'll be rewarded. You don't need to but your chances of finding girls who ask for money will be significantly lower if you do.

I live in Singapore and have used DIA for about a year now. Regarding p4p and DIA, besides the girls that are openly p4p, I've met quite a few that turned out to be at least part-time or former p4p girls. Red flags for me are lots of trips to Bali, Singapore, Phuket, Dubai, etc... along with either a low paying job or claims to being a model. Been in Manila about a week - Tindering more than is healthy. Had a date most nights. Come across 'fishing' hookers trying to invite themselves over for money/food/etc, coked up DTF party sluts, suspicious hard to read girls playing games (after sugar daddies? semi-pros?), promiscuous career girls, shy and sheltered career girls, etc. Unless you're filtering super young I'd say career girls are in the majority.

You can find out pretty quickly whether she studies or has a day job. Anything else is a big red flag. These girls will be free after work around Makati or the Fort (7ish) and I have no problems taking them to dinner & drinks because, well, I have to eat anyway and there's only so much time in the day.

Logistics is a big deal, as always. I'd live by Greenbelt. If you can't walk to your place and she has to work in the morning it's going to be a mission getting her home on a weeknight.

As for shoring / dodgy vibe girls - unless you're on a pure quantity over quality notch mission, if the girl isn't there because she likes you you may as well pay for it and save yourself the headache. I'm not against that, but it's really not necessary here.

I think that is very true, except that I can also think off hand of 3 very sweet girls who don't have jobs. When I say sweet I mean they don't ask for money and seem to be relatively nice girls. Then again, these girls may be pretty unintelligent. It can be hard to tell because of the language barrier. Although here in the phils it almost seems like poor english is highly correlated with low intelligence.

DIA is a cesspool. Even here in Davao I'd say at least 25-50% will go p4p in the right circumstances. If you're young and attractive, they usually won't bring it up. But push the issue enough, and you'll figure it out quickly.

Blossoms is by far the most conservative. It's more LTR oriented and I've found that many girls there won't even give me their number as quickly as the other sites. There are some who have profiles there and elsewhere that are less so.

Cupid definitely has some semi-pros, as I mentioned, but not nearly as many as DIA in my experience. I've had one girl from there say something about "supporting her through school" to date her. When I laughed at her, she mentioned paying for fun instead.

Like I said, I had to really push the issue to even get girls to start bringing up p4p more often, so it's hard to really tell exactly who is and who isn't. I think a lot of 18-20 year olds probably aren't even self defined as p4p or not, some hear about "collectors" and dive right in with a level of income in mind, others think of love but then get spoiled by easy money...
