I felt pretty safe walking all over The Old City and Bocagrande/Laguito last night.

There is lots of police in the area.

Night 1.

To start off with Im staying at El Viajero hostel in Old City (Nice n clean for 15 $ a night) until I find a decent hotel for the end of the week. Anyways there is some decent looking Europeans here. Two cute girls from Finland and a group of ppl from England.

I started talking to this one cute blonde that was in the English group. I could tell she was alil wild and could potentially be a notch. I put in alil work on her before I left dolo. Found out where they were going incase i made it back to Old City that night.

Took a cab to Laguito / Bocagrande to play poker at this one poker room. I was alil hesitant to play because it was only Colombians playing and Id rather play against older Gringos ripe to give away some cash! I played anyways. Buy in was 100 min with 5$ big blinds no limit. Played that for 1.5 hours. I was up 175 and dicided to call it quits.

The infamous La Dulce Vida (p4p) was right up the street and I decided to check it out for a minute. I wasnt really dressed to be rolling there. Old white undershirt jeans flipflops ect. Anyways I couldnt believe the talent there. Some REALLY hot women. I also was surprised there wasnt many Americans in there, mostly Mexicans from this near buy building that they all work for. I had these two clingy chicks i wasnt interested in attached to me and i couldnt get them to go away. I some some IOI's in there but in a place like that you dont know if its legit or not. I left after one beer to meet up with English grl back in Old City.

We all went to Tu Candelas in Old City. It wasnt bad for a monday night. Mostly tourists though.... Blonde brit got trashed with my help ovcourse lol Bounced her early at around 1am and banged her in the shower of our hostel! Problem is I am not here to hookup with tourists! But kinda hard to turn down a given! lol Still got like 2 weeks... lol

On a down note you have to say no gracias prob about 200 times a day here! Wtf lol

I am coming back to Colombia from about July to August:

I was previously there Jan Feb 2009 and it was the highlight of my SA trip.. Has much changed for the worse for those that visit regularly? Eg More tourists hence Colombians being less friendly to gringos???

I was in Cartagena last year.

I never felt in danger once. Some girls told me there was muchos ladrones, but I didn't see any.

The old city is actually lit up real well.

There are street hustlers trying to sell you coke that I think could potentially set up up to get heisted, but I think they are more just after selling you beeks.

Just avoid them if you don't want to go down any potentially bad roads.

If they hit you up, just say "what up" show them you know how to handle biz, rap out with them a little and be on your way.

I think the ignore approach could work as well as long as you don't come off soft.

I just decided to hit these guys up head on, and give them a little of the "Look, I know you are a hustler, I am one too, let's just respect each other and everything will be A-OK" type vibe.

A "you are from the streets, I am from the streets" vibe, if you will. I guess this one might not be for everyone.

Soo after going to Mr Babilas last night and it being relatively dead I decided to go check out this strip club I heard about called PleyClub.

This is a mainly local joint with mainly hot young girls in town for a month or soo to work from other cities like Medellin ect. Kinda small and dim inside. Drinks are mad expensive, prob just for me though. I walked in and it was still kinda early soo pretty much everyone is eye fucking the shit out of me bc i dont think they ever get "my kind" in there. lol

I positioned myself at the bar and had some drinks and starting talking to 3 young grls from MEdellin. Then kinda just talked to one in the group for most the night. She was pretty cool and had a slamming body. I wasnt planning on sleeping with a grl there but after awhile she asked me and I told her maybe, and that I wasnt sure. After winning some money playing poker the other night and it being depressingly dead in as far as the nightlife is concerned mon - thur I decided to go ahead and accept her offer.

This is only the second time I have ever paid for a grl. This grl body was on point. Got her facebook and numnber, hopefully i can get her to chill during the day when i come back in a week or so and get a free bee.

Anyways thank god its FRIDAY! Gonna be able to actually check out some real locals and good nightlife!

On a funny note I woke up to the sounds of one of the grls from Finland getting fingered or fucked in the dorm!

My level of spanish is not as good as I had previously thought. It is causing me problems with day game and just overall confidence to open these chicks. me. Im like right below conversational, pretty much only basic small stuff! Really havent made many cold approaches as I would like.

Unfortunately or actually fortunately you have to work on your Spanish to get with some of the local girls, especially once you go off road in places such as Baranquilla. The only reason I say fortunately is that for the guys who put in the effort to learn the lingo, they are somewhat protected from a lot of people who suddenly decided Colombia is the place to go to meet hot girls. Getting to a conversational level of Spanish takes a serious amount of work.

How much time did you spend in Bogotá around La Candelaria? La 93 is indeed a different world, La Candelaria is la zona más calientica de Bogotá, like half of all robberies happen in this hood, both the rich and poor areas are safer, but mixing the two makes for a very different hood

Dash, since you are at a hostel, how do you handle fucking girls? I've heard that hostels do not allow you to bring girls back your room? Did you get a private room? Alos, the finland girl, was she in a private room, or was she getting fingered/fucked with strangers around her? This maybe the hostel to stay in CTG of they allow open fucking like this.

I am trying to get a feel for hostel life as I've never stayed in one because I keep hearing it is difficult to get laid or bring back girls on them, but you en L'estranger post different stories.

I didnt even try to fuck the british grl in the room in front of ppl. I just pulled her into the shower room.

Now the grl from Finland was getting fucked early in the morning with everyone in the room!

But hostels dont allow you to bring girls back although with soo many ppl coming and going i dont see anyway to regulate this at a hostel like I was in.

But there is no rule for fucking other guests. Only problem is most grls wont get down and dirty in a room with other ppl.

But i dont think this applies to European grls. They are freaks to the core and more sexually liberated than any other group. So its like a 50/50 with them.

The best way to do it in a hostel is to alternate nights. meaning chill with the hostel chicks one night, then go out solo or just with other guys and meet local girls the nxt night. This strategy is the most optimal for fucking the most grls and not missing out so to say.

Im gonna employ this strategy in Santa Marta.

Alto Prado area is just straight NICE! Streets are alive with people and music! Lots of nice ladies walking around! Was talking to 2 and had them help me communicate with the grl im meeting tonight over the phone. Im going to meet here at the Buenivista Mall at 9. Hopefully she speaks alil english bc if not its gonna be interesting! lol
