They're talking about marriage. In short term game anything goes. You just have to get her attention and make her laugh.

the issue with these scientific studies is they engage the logical brain and pull answers from out of there

attraction happens at an emotional level

Gotta disagree here. Getting a girl's attention and making her laugh does not equal attraction. Being funny without game or looks just makes you a talking monkey who can keep her entertained for a few minutes. Same with using magic tricks and routines. Humor and being entertaining just gets your foot in the door, but doesn't mean she's attracted.

Marilyn Monroe makes some inane quotes. Isn't she the one that came up with, "If you can't handle me at worst, you don't deserve me at my best"? The single most quoted phrase in women's dating profiles of all time.

I'd like to better my game and hone the skills. I read the posted links...vague generalizations on male/female interaction which are typical

As mentions in other posts (above)....flirting starts with attraction...doesn't it?

So attraction...and getting attraction has to be looked at first.

Typically people are told...go where people are (but that doesn't solve anything) A guy could go into a room full of girls and still come out alone. Why?

So dress is important. Along with physical attributes along with presence/positioning.

A hot chick enters the room and the room lights up....ever heard that?

this to some degree must also go for guys....everybody checks out who the newest arrivals are...even near the end of any event

It only takes a few seconds for a chick to size up who she's attracted to or not.....guys do it quicker (human radar constantly surveying a room) (girls are subtle pretending to be engaged in a conversation but looking away every now and then)

I read today that chicks know all about the two guys standing at the bar surveying the crowd and not talking to each other the so called "wing men" (both are wing man to each other).....because this is normal and chicks put labels on these guys....does attraction go out the window?

What creates attraction is 'guys that already have a chick with them"....meaning a "sister" has already found/trained/checked out prince charming so the works done.

Years ago I was at a bar ( I always go for a mix of age groups) and while on the dance floor I noticed one 50ish old guy dancing by himself (usually near college girls)..thought to myself "wierdo"...anyways he wore a tee shirt and jeans looked fit.....when ever I went to the bar..there he was dancing by himself and I surveyed the tables around the dance floor...chicks were looking at him...some were't giggling but looking....BINGO it was working for him...attraction.....because I'd see him dancing with chicks sometimes.

That said some stuff on flirting:

Guys think sex when he catches a flirt....he has to it's evolution....meaning he doesn't understand and can't risk missing a signal so he goes all the way...(thus he can spread the seed)....if he got the message wrong...no biggie

Women are blind...they miss guys signals "they have a hard time getting the memo" they do not think sex...they think commitment "is he serious" about her. Again it's evolution.....unwanted pregnancy was a death sentence....so risk adverse and caution is best.

As with the APE tribe....the ALPHA male with a harem is preferable to women (see above women like guys that have a chick) ......the sausage fest lined up at the bar...are there to have a "female" approach and sneak away with them (genetic diversity e.t.c) but the Beta's along the bar wanna be the new ALPHA (deep down)

anyways stuff to debate...
