Has anyone done it? It seems to be a wealth of 20-something office pussy.

I can see maybe opening women and asking about the company they work for.
Or possibly setting up a meet up with a female recruiter to discuss a job opportunity.

I honestly don't see a huge need for it, but I could see it as possible.

I think the best way to swing would be to talk to someone in your field and suggest a meetup to discuss business, if your career fits this type of profile. She's guaranteed to get dolled up for it and you could probably transition it pretty easily to "getting a drink" and proceed from there.

The problem is that you'd have to shit where you sleep. I wouldn't want to have my Linkedin associated with that type of behavior. Furthermore, you'd be approaching people in your field, which is a dangerous prospect as well. You could always set up a fake profile and some fake contacts in a field you're unaffiliated with, but this sounds like a ton of work for dubious returns, and you'd have to straight up lie your way through probably half an hour of boring talk before you could transition to anything interesting.

I think daygaming near a college campus would be more lucrative.

The way I see this working is that I get contacted by recruiters all the time, half of them are women and usually cute (at least the headshot). I've thought about the "hey, let's have lunch and talk about opportunities you might have". The complication would be that she's thinking business and you're thinking pussy... have to find a way to get her thinking along your lines.

Bear in mind that you've got your real name attached, as well as your professional reputation.

Yep, this is the biggest drawback to LinkedIn for 1 on 1 game. My workaround to this is to check out 'Ms. X' on Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. to get info.

Using LinkedIn for group meetups, OTOH can be very, very productive. I've gone to a couple LinkedIn industry events in my area and there's been plenty of snatch (overall ratio of ~50:50 female/male). With very little effort, the opportunities for scoring are there.

Much, much better than going to a Couchsurfing meetup, for example (at least where I'm located), where it's a 1:4 female/male ratio. I also noticed that the attendees at Couchsurfing meetups tend to be uber-cheap and plain weird. Pass.

LinkedIn's another club in the bag.

I've done it.

Story - I used to have a high profile job that made me come off as a BSD so I had recruiters sucking my kneecaps all the time. So one day I was reviewing all my contacts (500+) and there was one chic who seemed cute (solid 6) but I had no idea who she was as her profile stated she was in med school. FYI, LinkedIn just changed their privacy policy, which seems to include profile views (I added the bolding). Here's the email I received:

I did the same thing I did with Facebook: Hit up people I know, get access to their connections, hit them up and grow your connections. Rinse and repeat.
