Maybe I am guilty also but I think unless the girl is into you and you are getting with her its fair game...just expressing interest in a girl means nothing. We all want to fuck every attractive woman so I default assume every guy I am friends with wants to fuck every attractive woman we both know. Actually the only type of behaviour i cant stand from guys is when you pull a girl they wanted and they get bitchy...as a friend you should be happy when your friend bangs a hot girl and if he is pulling and you aren't then use that as motivation to get better. Pretty soon with some elbow grease he will be complaining that you are stealing girls he wants and the circle will be complete.

It tells you what you need to know about the guy. If he'll fuck you over for pussy he'll fuck you over for money, status, etc. Just be smart, keep your eyes open, and never put this type of behavior past anyone, that way you won't be surprised if it happens. Is there some reason you put "A buddy at my old job" in the category of "good friend?"

Because if so, yeah, that's lame, showed his true colors. Otherwise, I think you are failing yourself by expecting more than his prior actions have shown and projecting too much on this "buddy at your old job."

In addition to the backstabbers, some guys are just clueless about the unwritten rules.

One of my friends was especially interested in a lizard who he met first. (This is an actual friend, not just someone I hang with.) I read the situation correctly and asked if he needed me to back off of this girl. He acted like I was doing him a big favor, rather than thinking of it as the right thing to do.

If you think this guy might be clueless, it might be worth having a talk with this guy and explaining why you don't do what he did.

If you think they knew better, then yeah, they're just a backstabber.

Stuff like that happens every once in a while, actually the ,,backstabbing'' can be viewed as a weakness on the other guys part, as he doesn't have more options than getting it on with a girl you have slept with. Unlike most of the guys here, I have a handful of lady friends who congregate around me. I've slept with a few, but they ultimately all had some crush on me which I had to say no to. Dare I say it , they're my friends!

I'm not at all protective of them and I have a tendency towards hating on them when I hear them on the occassion they're using a beta guy for his money and attention. This seems to work well since the one hot 8 i know stopped seeing this asian actuary after i told her to stop wasting his time.

Either way, the amount of guys in my life I can call my friends are zero (gay dudes don't count). I've had a few come and go, but when I introduce them to my gaggle of women they will go and creep on them with the worst game possible. I end up hearing side stories about what they said to them and how they tried to game them. It's hilarious because the game sounds like something said to some bar slut which none of them are. Either way, they end up never getting invited back since the girls become uncomfortable.

That is my problem. Dudes come into my group and fail to understand social circle game. Betas or not, it's annoying and sucks for someone like me who would like to not be stuck with a large group of just female friends.


Here's a lesson for all of you: When someone ( guy or girl ) invites you into a new social circle. Understand that you're an interloper. Don't fuck it up by trying to bed everyone. Let the group warm up to you first and then run some game. These rules don't apply on bar sluts friend groups. And yes, assume your game will be broadcasted to everyone in the group after you've left.

We used to call this "male code," and it's comprised of an informal set of rules that adult men have with each other.

I never mapped out what they were, but I know when someone breaks one. The main one is that you never tell a woman when her guy is cheating on her but you need to tell your buddy if he's being cheated on.

Also, if a guy says something to you in confidence you never repeat it to a woman, ever.

As for going after the same girl, we used to have friendly competitions about this at work. It never descended into a nasty rivalry, probably because (as I've said) there was a lot of infighting amongst the women, which meant a lot of employee turnover, which meant new women each month, so there was enough for everyone. Those were the days!

Oh I have friends. Quite a bit actually except they're either gay or have vaginas. I don't have any straight male friends. I'd grade my happiness as a B. It's improving with each day of spring though so i can dig it.

If you are true buds/friends (not just acquaintances) then it is polite to only work on a girl one at a time. One pussy ain't worth roughing up a friendship. If you or your friend take more than a month with no success then I feel like it is okay for anything between the girl and the initial chaser to be written off.
