Anybody's been there?

Any good recommendations?

I plan to get my first muslim flag, and would love to hear some tips.
And of course also if somebody knows about some hidden gem beach towns, I'm all ears.

Haven't been to Morocco, but I'd be careful when trying to pickup a Muslim girl. I've heard many stories where guys end up getting beaten or killed by the girls' family.

Actually this is more of a cheap getaway from the cold nortern european winter, so the flag is only second priority. But it would be a good story to tell the grand children.

Moroccan women can be seriously attractive. It is a country of contrasts. On the one hand you see women with their full muslim robes and then on the other there are young women in tight leather pants. I didn't game any Moroccan women while I was there as I was travelling with another girl. But, the girls do give you the look and they seem that might be open to a conversation. Also, Spain, specially Andalusia is full of Moroccan women. It might be a safer option if you are intent on getting a Moroccan flag.

In general, Moroccan girls are the most open minded and sexually liberated girls in the Maghrebian region. Specially in France, they are the biggest sluts and most likely to give it up and the soonest. Haven't been to Morocco yet but have Morrocan friends always tell me that it's a major poon destination. Some of the girls are downright gorgeous there, but to game them, you'd need to speak either Arabic or French. And an even better idea to exponentially increase your chances of scoring while there is to make friends before hand with a local male or the best is to go there with a Moroccan guy friend, then you'd have as much exotic Moroccan pussy as you can handle. Some of the hottest girls that I have seen in my life were Lebanese. Incredible ass, amazing tits and a beautiful face. As someone already mentioned, check out Anthony Bourdain's episode on Beirut. Before the place got bombed he was having a good time.

I had a good time in Morocco although a lot of the girls I met in bars turned out to be hookers

I spoke French when I was there so I did not have too many language problems.

@Luckystar: lmao, you know, they really try doing their best, but still denmark is a pretty depressing place in january.

Vacancier, my french is a bit rusty, but half a decade ago, I was neary fluent. It will probably all come back after a couple of days.

I am a bit confused after researching online - seems some people claim that along with Beirut it is one of the only truly liberated islamic places on earth, but on the other hand, people in the know claim that it should be hard meeting anything but pros in the bars.
Guess there is only one of way finding out!

I knew a berber girl some years ago, and if the locals are anything like that, I'll have a sore neck from head-turning: stunning body, beautiful skin and brown eyes.

I went to Morocco last year, but I didn't meet any local women. Personally, I didn't find them attractive; I also got the impression that very few speak English. If you speak Arabic or French, you're probably fine, but barring that you'll run into a severe language barrier. I have no idea what the cultural norms are in Morocco, but my guess would be that they're pretty conservative.

I was dead set on going at the end of '08, and right before purchasing the ticket shit got ugly all over the country, not just around Tripoli and the south. Keep and eye on the politics and watch for lulls in the fighting. I'll be in the ME soon and would like to hit Beirut and Israel for a couple weeks.

Well, after going I can definitely say that Morocco is not a place to go if you have the hobby we have on this forum. So no Muslim flag this time.

Nightlife must be the worst I've ever come across. Basically the bars are just old men staring at small overpriced bottles of beer. Seriously depressing places. Other muslim nations, like Malaysia and Turkey, seem like Ibiza compared to this.

There are nightlife however - if you can afford it! Yes I thought Africa would be a place where I would just walk in with my solid euroes and buy the whole continent if I felt like, but I got wiser.
Moroccan nightclub entry fee is typically around 20 euro. I'd maybe pay that new years eve, or in a fancy place in Paris, but not for getting entrance to what is probably a sausage party. We did go to one place though. An affluent crowd, for sure. Djs spinning cool music and nice interior, but it was more or less set up for bottle service, so we didn't stay long. Plus the beer cost the double compared to northern europe.

There are a couple of hot girls around, but nothing to really make the country stand out. Plus the ones that could be hot were often wearing a veil. I often caught myself thinking 'damn, that's a hot body', give the elevator-look, and then notice that the face and hair was concealed.

The food is good and cheap though, and if you need a sunny getaway from Europe in the winter it fits the bill. In fact, if you already have a girl it might make a pretty good destination for a romantic holiday.

Ok I have been to Morocco 3 times and got 0 flags the first time. 1 the second. 2 the third. People need to understand you are in a Muslim country. Muslim girls are completely different than western girls. Acting like a westerner won't get you anything but hookers in Morocco. Pretty much 90% of girls in the bars there are hookers looking for Westerners. The other 10% are like American girls (basically drink hookers). Pulling women here works completely different than in western countries. Here if you look white or European you pretty much doomed to only hookers. If you are Asian, black, mixed or Arab you have a chance.

For Morocco you need to know the cities where women are more open and liberal. The best bet is Tangier because of all the western influence. When meeting girls it's best to hang around the city center or beach front. Keep in mind most girls out there do not "date". To be seen with a man who is not their husband especially in their part of town they will be called hookers. If a woman comes up to your apartment where your staying and you aren't related to them they are considered a hooker. But keep in mind girls in Morocco a lot of it is a game on their half. The way it works is like this. First make sure it's not ramadan when you are going. This seems weird but hang out in the city during the day and just start smiling at girls. If they like you they smile back and will keep looking. Next approach them with Arabic, if you don't know then French, and using English won't work unless they are a hooker for the most part. Moroccan have a lot of time to hang out. They love to just hang out and goto the beach and even other tourist spots. Now after that here is the make or break point. Get them back to your apartment. By their culture they understand if you get them back to the apartment you are going to get something. It's not like they go up there just to talk. Make sure also to pay the watchman so he doesn't call the police for you bringing up a girl you met. Now if you succeed and do her right (most guys there since sexually repressed have no clue how to make love to a woman) they will be cleaning your apartment the next morning. Now the hardest part is telling them you ain't gonna marry them! I hope this sheds some light.

BTW the other guy got ripped off at tourist clubs. Hanging out at Moroccan clubs I had my own girl rolling my joints, and I was buying the whole bar rounds for $20. The key is don't act like a tourist or westerner. To everyone there your a walking paycheck.
