RE: How is life for men as we age?
99% of women give exactly zero fuck about strength. They may care about muscle mass (in some cases) but preserving muscle mass is easier than preserving strength.
Baldness is a problem but not very signifcant (fortunately for all men who are bald at 25).
Wrinkles on men’s faces are in fact sexy. If you don’t believe me check advertisements in magazines. Women’s wrinkles are erased but men’s wrinkles are actually accentuated.

RE: How is life for men as we age?
IMO the only reason why men of 50 don’t get teenagers more often is in their head. They lose the drive, they get fat, they stop working out, they do not go out with young people anymore (in fact they are often not interested in young people), they think that men of 50 cannot get teenagers.

80% of the dozens of women I've banged disagree.

Sure, but they know that unlike their last boyfriend, who's a "nice guy" with some soyboy tendencies, I can pick them up hold them suspended while I fuck them in front of my mirror, as if their weight is inconsequential.

RE: How is life for men as we age?
I threw a lot of parties at my dad's home last summer. Everytime It was me one of my friends and my Dad plus the girls we invited over (usually 4 or 5).
I was 24 my Dad 57 and the girls were mostly 18-22. My father grew old these past few years but he still managed to bang a cute 19 years old girl and date antoher 25 years old from these parties!

RE: How is life for men as we age?
Guys, don't forget that Montrose are in France, where there's a bit less emphasis on physical strength. Just look at all the guys featured in French ad vs American ad. All tall and ray-thin and handsome vs manly and muscular. French girls in general believe themselves to be intellectually superior to Anglo-Saxon girls, so there's more appeal in dating an older and wiser man.

That said, it's simply delusional to think you will do better with younger girls at 55 than at 25 all else being equal. The last part is very important, because Montrose's game developed quite late (based on what I read from his posts) so he has the impression that he is doing better now than back at 25, while the fact is his game got exponentially better.

French guys are also extremely vain, even more so than their women, so you cant persuade an old French guy to feel like he's aged Laugh that's like telling a feminist she is trash after 30.

I'm 27 and I was dating a cute 18 yo chick for 2 months. Everyone was against me dating a girl so young, including my player friends. It ended very badly, not due to the age difference, but due to the world-weariness that DOBA talked about. At 27 my bullshit tolerance goes way down the shithole and the moment a girl start blabbering I kicked her the fuck out.

Back at 20 I would be way too happy to stay with this girl or take her as my girlfriend because what I consider bullshit at 27 is excitement and fun at 20.
I know now that I'll have a harder time with girls, not because I can't get them, but rather I can't tolerate their BS.

Fuck I'm talking like a bitter old man at 27, but that's the truth. Then there's the lies you tell yourself, some call it "the wall is mental for men" but whatever. Your energy level goes down. It's still fuck high but not as high as at 20. At 22 I dislocated my shoulder in aikido training, was told to rest for 2 weeks. After 2 days I come back good as new. Now? A bad move in sport resulted in a twisted ankle that took 2 weeks to heal.

And everyday you see more sign of fatigue and age on your face and body. Your six packs got just a little bit dimmer, the first wrinkles and eye bags start to deepen. You tell yourself "awesome I'm reaching my peak" but your mortality has never been more visible and it gnaws at you bit by bit.

Sleep becomes fucking sacred. I had to dump a plate because she can only come during the week and she would like to have sex all fucking night long. Those fuck night you fantasize about when you were 18 and can pull off 6 nights in a row, now just result in you feeling like a zombie next day.

And every time a girl turn you down because "you are too old for me" you smirk "that's just another dump ass excuse girl say (too short/too black/elbow too pointy) but deep inside you wonder if there's any truth to it.

Sure, it's all in your head and you can tell yourself whatever you need to sleep better, but the evidence is there. Suppress it or embrace it, do whatever you have to do to prolong your stay in the game.

And please dont bring up Hugh Hefner (RIP to the MVP)

EDIT: another big factor is that the road got way more lonely. At 20 everybody is out to get bitches, your buddies high 5 you for every + notch. Every weekend you roll out with the squad to slay pussy. At 27? Half of them are settled down with girlfriends and work, and your hunting nights become increasingly solo. At 55 it's pretty much "you against the world" when hunting.

RE: How is life for men as we age?
All good points but just to mitigate:
- I have lived in the US and in Europe with no noticeable difference. I have also dated several American women in Europe. So the cultural effect in my analysis is small. Don’t forget that 1/3 of Americans are obese. I maintain that women don’t care about men’s strength. Look around the internet, all the bros say so. They care if you look strong (sometimes). Does anyone really think that if your squat goes down 100 lbs any woman is going to care??? They can’t even tell pounds from kilograms!
- I’m not saying that you’re physically better at 55 than at 25. Just that the difference is (or should be, if you take care of yourself) so small as to be insignificant relative to you increased social value. (Unless you main value proposition is your athletic performance then ok you’ll have to reinvent yourself as you age)

I'm way over 40 and had to laugh at your "bitter old man" moaning...but I do get what you're saying. I felt my aging more at 30 than I do now. When I realised there was a younger generation coming through and I saw my first grey hairs.

Don't sweat it. The aging is not so bad, and more than outweighed by the DGAF attitude that you naturally accrue.

No. At 55 your lifestyle and method of getting women is exactly what you have built.

RE: How is life for men as we age?
The trick to banging and dating 18-19 year olds is to find the ones who are very mature for their age. They will still be girly, but not irritating enough to make you dump her. That said, I have a tremendous amount of patience for immaturity so your mileage may vary.

When I first dated an 8-year age difference, banging a 19-year old, I thought to myself, "This is my peak, I'll never have this again, enjoy it while it lasts." I leaked out bad game like crazy and made the relationship worse than it needed to be.

Now, years later, I've dated even larger age differences with even more attractive women, and I realize just how stupid I was then. Age is mostly a number for men, just wear your sunscreen, hit the gym, and use a DHT blocker shampoo!

---

That said, I know I will not have this level of attractiveness I do now in 15 years, but I don't care. Life is great enough to be enjoyed at every stage.

RE: How is life for men as we age?
Lots of guys in the over 40 thread are doing better now than before, despite being less strong, having less hair, bigger bellies, etc.

Lots of delusional younger guys. Its human nature to view the world from your own perspective. If you are strong, you think strength is most important. If you are rich or poor, you think wealth is important. If you are tall or short, you think height is most important.

If you read hte over 40 thread, you'll see there are guys who are overweight, bald, out of shape who are killing it. Its because their life experiences give them an inner strength that you can't get at a gym.

I'm all for self-improvement. Strength and even more so physique are very much within one's control and should not be discounted. And they get more difficult as you get older because of competing constraints on your time and because of biology. But aging for men is not the cliff some of you are making it out. I've seen the quality and quantity that my over-40 brothers are pulling and they are putting some of you younger guys to shame.

RE: How is life for men as we age?
Another thing which hasn’t been mentioned is that with the collapse of the family, many or most girls grow up with a weak or absent father; they are desperately, even if unconsciously, looking for a strong masculine father figure. This gives us old men a very significant angle to play.

Well I’m 35 and now have the passive income to not work again, at least for a looooong time. I finally get to pursue all the hobbies and passions I had as a teen and am young enough to slay young women in foreign countries.

This was a pipe dream in my mid-20s now it’s coming true.

I'd say baldness is so insignificant, I wouldn't even call it a problem. I have a Jason Statham-like baldness pattern and I don't care about it. Neither do girls.

Regarding strength, I respectfully disagree. I had a girlfriend who was 187 cm (almost 6'2) tall, and she weighed around 73-74 kg (160-165 lbs). I still remember the amazed look on her face when I picked her up on my hands for the first time.

As far as aging is concerned, now at 32 my life is overall drastically better than, let's say, 10 years ago, even when I account for various life problems that hit me every now and then. Sometimes it's difficult to grasp how aging affects us men differently than it does women. I can only imagine how confusing and depressing the feeling must be for women my age, who experience the same life process in reverse.
