The "first date" or "meet-up" for online dating has a vastly different vibe than that of a first date with a girl that you continually run into in a social scene or your social circle. You never really know what to fully expect regarding how they react to meeting new people when you first meet the person. Given that, I thought we could just pool some successful strategies we have had that aren't the typical "game".

Mine is pretty systematic and it can get me a notch with the most left wing feminist on the planet.


Venue:
Restaurant & Bar with games that no one should be good at (preferably ping pong).
This place provides me with enough stages to keep things from getting stale, and it allows me to escalate monetarily depending on the girl and where things are going.

First:
I always rent a ping-pong table for an hour ($5-$10). I do basic introductions but the head straight towards the match. I am no good at ping pong, but neither are girls. This kind of shitty sport show eases them and makes them more receptive to what I say when we do talk. In between games I will meet them on the side of the table and talk to them standing up for about five minutes then it is a rematch.

What is the purpose? Well... is she trying? If I get a stone cold bitch that would rather be polishing her nails then I simply part ways after the hour with little financial damage.

Second:
After the hour is up and I have deemed this girl is good enough for more out of my wallet book then we will mosey on over to the bar and get a drink ($10-$15 total). There we will converse. The friendly/silly competition has made her more receptive and alert. I have never had to share time with an iPhone in this stage.

Third:
From here we have options if things truly are "clicking" for her. Since I usually set dates at 5:30pm, it is usually 8 by the time food even comes up. If she hadn't eaten before hand (I always do) then we can go share a plate in the restaurant ($15).


I currently hold a 100% success rate with any girl I have taken through the three phases of the gauntlet. I have found that entertaining works much better for me on first dates than running down a list of "moves", and I have always had the decision to walk out when I want. I had even the most left wing feminist girl I have ever met fall for me, and I really think this as the first date is the only reason I saw her again.

1. Go kayaking

Plenty of opportunities to touch the girl. Excuse to see her body and assess the goods. Excuse to show off your rock hard abs, you stud. You can kino with water, showing her how to paddle, pushing her off the Kayak, pulling her up into the Kayak by her ass, etc...A good way to see her personality (can she handle learning something new? Does she complain if she is tired?). And if she's a bitch? Doesn't matter. Kayaking is fun.

2. Go ice skating

Plenty of opportunities to touch the girl, especially if she sucks at ice skating. You can show off if you are better. Push her around. Laugh at her when she falls. Assess her balance and cock riding ability in one fell swoop. If she's an ice queen, who cares? Ice skating is fun.

3. Go play pool

Plenty of opportunity to touch the girl and help her with her shots. If you're any decent at pool, you get the situational alpha from being the "instructor". You get a lot of leeway with touching girls depending on how you help her with her shooting skills. Very fun to make dick jokes deadpan. Play for cash. Make her buy you a drink. And if she's a bitch? Who cares...playing pool is fun.

Met a girl online from this. Was very sweet. Was a virgin. Was once my girlfriend (treated me the best out of all girlfriends up until that point).

I like to text her where I'll be waiting. I then move somewhere adjacent out of line of sight, but close by so I can assess how much effort she's coming into the date with on visual and body language. I modify my approach from there and intro with a line like, "hey I was waiting so I decided to get a pool table etc. lets go get a game rolling..."

In my area, finding a bar on the divey side with some good live music works well. First off, most chicks in DC are burnt out with the trendier joints and appreciate something more down to earth. Second, the scene's usually more intimate and forces you two to get closer together to talk. You can have lapses in conversation to enjoy the music. There's usually pool tables and darts around too.

In DC the speakeasy type joints are a great conversation/date opener too. Intimate, dark, exclusive seating at a bar with cool drinks that you build an evening around = win.

Once the weather gets better I plan to leverage stuff like kayaking and hiking.

My thoughts on a first date

1) stick with the first date bang recipe
2) do something I want to do independent of what she may want.

At this point in my life, I don't try to entertain girls, I either entertain myself or expect them to entertain me.

Indoor rock climbing just to impress some chick? That's the road to disaster.

There's plenty of touching opportunities on a bar stool. Plus you get eye contact, better conversation ect

Yeah this sounds pretty over-complicated. Just running the 1DBR is really all you need, and all it costs is an hour or 2 or your time and the price of a round of drinks (usually about $20 for me since I intentionally go to places with expensive craft beer in order to make the idea of going to my place for round 2 sound more appealing). The other great thing about it is that the skill-set you need to pull off a bang from getting drinks at a bar is fairly limited, and there's not much that can go wrong: make good conversation, smoothly invite her over for round 2, and turn the ensuing makeout into a bang. Getting a chick to your place after something like rock climbing has a lot more variables.

I usually save the fun-activity-type shit for girls I've already fucked who I know are pleasant enough that I wouldn't mind spending more time and resources to hang out with.
