I cannot even imagine the anguish her future husband would experience if he saw video tape of this.

Whenever I see this, which seems to be more and more common as the provider role is eroding to nothingness, I sometimes question all the hard work of getting it together and building classic value (dressing well, working out, looking sharp).

This reminds me of the movie Choke and Sam Rockwell's character.

Has anyone ever been at this point in their life and been drowning in top shelf tail? Ex-addict, ex-dealer, trust-fund kid that doesn't give a fuck? Lower class background with nothing to lose?

Seeing this success always irks me into thinking I may be putting hard work in instead of smart work by not putting up a front that I am one of these guys.

I have never witnessed hot girls pine away so much as for a fuck-up type that doesn't give 2 shits about about them.

In college I was a small time drug addict and had a 6.5 GF so not hot, but she was obsessed with me when I did drugs, flaked and lied to her and put drug and alcohol abuse above her. She brought me food to my community service hours after getting caught with drugs. She brought me presents. She called and texted me to come over all the time. Was willing to do anything in bed. The minute I started to clean up my act to actually not fail out of college she became more disinterested. It took MUCH more game to get her to have no strings attached sex when we were on again off again. When I was into drugs I just would text or call and her jubilation was very apparent and willingness to do anything for me. She was not a bad girl. She was a church girl, upper middle class, no tatts, no piercings, strong family values, loved babysitting, loves kids more than anything, wanted a family etc... top of her class in high school, full ride to a good and expensive college.

I have tried substituting "I am busy" or the "I do interesting things and am an interesting man that is very aloof", or "I like dating whoever, I am not settling down with you right now..." all the more classic ways to build interest completely pale in comparison to drug addict, alcoholic, degenerate, unemployable, broken, unsuccessful game.

Anyone else have experience and could share some tips on projecting this same aura to have girls clawing to get in your life and give you mind-blowing sex just to stay in your presence?

So what? He's got a hot chick but the rest of his life sucks. Why would you want to be that guy? You should understand that alpha males come in unlimited forms, you can be a broke alpha or an alpha with class and nice things, or you can just a be a middle class alpha. Lifestyle alone doesn't determine alphaness, but lifestyle is ultimately more satisfying than being alpha so you should always be focusing on lifestyle first.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's overall a good idea to be a degenerate drug addict but I do notice that those types of guys tend not to have a of problems in the getting pussy department. I know you guys are jumping down the OP's throat because he's not "promoting self-improvement" (although I don't think he was necessarily advocating this either, just making an observation), but it really does fit right in with what we all know about female attraction. Girls aren't attracted to men who are the most honorable, upstanding, productive, deserving, kind, or whatever--they're attracted to whoever gets their pussy wet, which is often people who don't give a fuck about them at all. As previously noted, it's this indifferent attitude towards women that's probably getting these guys chicks (well, that and the drugs), but it's not like that's completely unrelated to their lifestyle. It can't be too hard to not give two shits about women when you don't even give a shit about something as basic your own personal well-being.

Again I'm not endorsing actually aspiring to these guys' lifestyle, but I think the OP made an observation that's very true in my experience despite being a very uncomfortable fact. Remember, the reason why pretty lies are so ubiquitous is because it would be nice if they were true. The truth hurts sometimes. Just thank heavens that destroying yourself with drugs isn't the only way on Earth to get pussy.

My reason for posting this is in no way saying being this degenerate guy is someone I want to be.

I was looking for insight like Laserbear's that have experience on the other side of the fence and are now about living a productive and full life.

I was only curious to see how guys that lived that lifestyle in the past may have been able to retain some of that mojo that drives certain girls nuts. This has nothing to do with being a loser, but maybe there were subconcious moves used then that a guy could share and explain that can help your game in the context of a productive life.

It seems guys have just left it all behind, which I did as well. The strong and immediate reactions from girls in those times does leave a lasting imprint though on how many women really work. And it is a dark reality.

Oh Yeah, let me answer your primary question..

There was a time in my life when I was unproductive and abusing marijuana.

I still got girls. Why?

Because I had social skills and experience talking to girls.

Getting high only makes you more of what you are.

I had a skill set and a confidence that was in place before the drugs.

Even, when I was being a loser, I still had my social skills and confidence.

That's how I would explain it.

Some girls liked the fact I smoked weed. Why? Because they liked to smoke it too.

It wasn't anything "dark". It was just two like minded people who wanted to have fun together.

I don't believe too much in that theory. It's an over-simplified, generalization that does not accurately express the complexity of human mating.

I know a lot of "jerks" who don't get girls.

You have to be a "jerk" with some "game". Either looks or social skills or status or access or some combination of those things.

Without some of those things, being a "jerk" will not get you too far.

Imagine a short, ugly guy who has no experience talking to girls. Being a "jerk" might hurt his game more then it helps. But, who knows? If he does it in such a way that it engages people into socializing with him, then it could work.

- if you have good access to drugs, it's convenient for girls and serves as a sort of status marker
- having a lot of drugs around, sucks all sort of people in, for all sorts of reasons
- drugs usually take priority over women. even without being an addict. they are just more fun. so this kills the neediness factor
