I wouldn't put Moore or Bullock in the less-than-attractive category, but Diaz and Ripa I would. Even at her best, I thought Diaz was overrated in the looks department. I don't think Ripa is particularly attractive either - she's not busted, but there's nothing hot about her.

A lot of people think that most beautiful girls come from the northern countries.

I have a theory about why prettiness might have been more important in the north.

In the warmer climates- people could show off their naked bodies more. So, you could get a higher percentage of butterfaces reproducing. Whatever they were lacking in facial prettiness was over shadowed by their slamming bodies.

In the northern colder countries, people had to cover their bodies mostly. So, it would make sense that facial prettiness played a much greater role in the mating market.

To be clear, it's not that women from hotter climates aren't pretty, it's that in the north, prettiness was more important in being able to tell who was a worthy mate.

Greta Gerwig (wikipedia). Scotland is in Britain. Britain plus Northern Ireland is U.K.
