Just got the "boyfriend" excuse
Hi guys, in need of a hint here.

Couple years ago I went out with this girl I met in the local gym, dinner went well and in the end somehow I chickened out and even though I could have had the kiss I gave her couple of kisses in cheeks and left (painful to remember). Goes without saying from then on she cooled out and we never went out again.

A few days ago I met her again by chance in town and we chatted a bit and agreed to go for a drink. Meeting confirmed yesterday at 23h30, she was looking forward. Today 7h in the morning the cancels it because boyfriend (not mentioned before) was not happy that she would meet me so she wanted to sort that out before causing more damage.

I txt a few minutes ago (20 min before the actual meeting) saying that she obviously showed him too much enthusiasm about our meeting. No reply so far.

Question: what would have been a better was to deal with this ? Hints and thoughts appreciated.

Tell her you're not interested in playing tug of war. "You have my number, call me when you're single."

Then move on.

RE: Just got the "boyfriend" excuse
Whenever she mentions the boyfriend, you have 3 options:

Ignore: Just keep on like she said nothing. Pretend and act like you didnt hear that bit.

Aknowledge: "I understand... ok, so you where telling me about that pet shop..."

Redirect attention towards her and away from the boyfriend:

"- My boyfriends works there...
- Thats cool. Where do YOU work?"

" My boyfriendtook me there last year...
- Great! So, where else would you like to go?"

Have none of that cocky and funny bullshit that has YOU reacting to her. Be the one women react to, not the one reacting to women.
